Linkin Park to perform at BlizzCon 2015

Linkin Park has finally been revealed as the closing act of BlizzCon 2015. Linkin Park released its debut album, Hybrid Theory, back in 2000 — and though the band has continued to release new albums, its most recent in 2014, Hybrid Theory remains their best-known work.

Though Linkin Park has continued to release new work — exploring varying genres over the years — they still fit right in to the annual nostalgia trip that is BlizzCon’s closing ceremonies. While there are no doubt fans of these bands in Blizzard’s community (many of us here at Blizzard Watch count among them), they’re something akin to the musical equivalent of Warlords of Draenor. Wouldn’t it be cool if we saw Grom Hellscream again? Maybe. Maybe.
