Game of Thrones meets Overwatch’s Play of the Game

This is one meme that doesn’t get old for me: the mashup of jaw dropping moments from Game of Throne’s just finished Season 6 and Overwatch’s Play of the Game cinematic. I’ve collected my favorites after the jump, but be warned, they are spoilerific for Game of Thrones, including last Sunday’s season finale episode.

Spoilers follow. Seriously. Don’t click if you haven’t kept up with the show.

Cersei’s final move to take out all her enemies at once in the season finale was brilliant, devious, audacious, and…well, frightening. It also cost her the last thing kept her human: her son, King Tommen. Out of all of the Cersei PotG vids out there (and there are many…) I enjoyed this one for its clever use of the Junkrat voice files.

Jon Snow has received quite a few PotG vids after his performance in the season’s penultimate episode “The Battle of the Bastards.” But let’s face it, the only reason he had to fight his way out of that mess so viciously is because he walked into it so stupidly. Next time listen to Sansa, man. Speaking of the widow Bolton…

If it wasn’t for Sansa, Jon would be on his second resurrection by now. She took down Ramsey twice, really. Once with her back up army and then, well, we all saw how it ended for that poor bastard. Pun intended. All this video needs is Tracer piping up with “Cheers, luv! The calvary’s ‘ere!”

While we’re on the Stark kids, who can forget Arya’s surprise appearance at the end? She almost got a two-fer, too. Did you see the eyes she made at Jaime Lannister when she wore the face of the serving girl? If he had responded, there would have two fewer names on her list instead of one.

And finally, while not from this season, this Bronn as Hanzo Play of the Game from the “Battle of the Blackwater” episode of season 2 is not to be missed. Enjoy.
