Auriel is coming to Heroes of the Storm

Auriel, Diablo‘s Archangel of Hope, is coming to Heroes of the Storm. Teased earlier today on the Heroes Twitter account, Auriel is most likely a Support character — the first Support since the addition of Morales over eight months ago. Little is officially known about Auriel’s skill set, but fans speculate her ultimate will be a Resurrection ability, fitting her motif as a healing angel.

While I’m always itching for more StarCraft heroes, it’s nice to see new Diablo heroes, too. And given we haven’t seen a new Support character in so long, I’m pleased to see more healing options — assuming Auriel is a traditional healer, of course. And now, with the addition of Auriel, I’d really like to see the entirety of the Angiris Council in the Nexus. A team of Tyrael, Auriel, Imperius, Malthael, and Itherael? Angel team, go!
