Take a hot air balloon ride with WoW’s Spring Balloon Festival

Are you tired of fighting the Legion day in and day out? Then WoW’s latest Micro-Holiday could be the relaxing vacation you need.  The Spring Balloon Festival takes advantage of the fine weather around Azeroth to send players skyward in hot air balloons.

You can hop on a balloon in Azsuna, Highmountain, Stormheim, Suramar, Uldum, Valley of the Four Winds, Crystalsong Forest, or Nagrand in Draenor for an aerial tour of the area. (Just ignore any Legion Assaults that may be happening in the background. These balloons are certified demon-safe.) There’s just one snag to taking your own relaxing ride: these balloons require three passengers before takeoff, so hopefully you can find some friends to ride along with you.

As is the norm for Micro-Holidays, there are no rewards or achievements for participating: you’re in it for the joy of ballooning and the spirit of adventure. The event is live now and runs through May 13, so if you’re keen on catching a balloon (and some unique screenshots) you have until Saturday.
