The Queue: Sweet tats

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

@SCOTTLEYES ASKED:

I found an NPC at Scalawag Point (Northrend) with full arm tattoos. AFAIK, she is the ONLY char with tattoos (other than DHs)?

Not entirely true! Wrath of the Lich King was the expansion where we all thought Blizzard was going to add tattoos as customization options because there are numerous humans in Grizzly Hills who have tattoos, too. If I remember correctly, most of the NPCs with tattoos are associated either with pirates or the locals who’d become worgen. Then, in Cataclysm, they gave tattoos to the Wildhammer Dwarves, so we were definitely going to get tattoos now, right? Right!?

Nope. We still don’t have tattoos. Except Demon Hunters. Blizzard is allergic to character customization.

ZEL ASKED:

Why do you think they’ve disabled the WoW Tokens? Too much inflation on them because of Destiny? Something nefarious with people able to dupe them?

Blizzard gave no indication for why Tokens were temporarily disabled, so all we can do is baselessly speculate. If you want my baseless speculation, I’d guess something went awry with the price scaling algorithm and tokens were disabled to nudge supply/demand back in order. Alternatively, tokens were undergoing heavy load and the system was going to break itself. Alternatively alternatively, someone tripped and unplugged the machine that takes peoples’ credit cards and squishes them down to bits in a video game.

KALCHEUS ASKED:

So how did you do with your Overwatch Anniversary loot?

Not great.

TKC ASKED:

how many different world bosses are available from the Nether Disruptor and what do they drop? Is it one boss per building or one per day or something else?

Jalamenos did such a good job answering this question in the comments yesterday, I’m going to be a big ol’ cheat and share their answer with you:

There are 4 bosses in total, Apocron, Si’vash, Brutallus and Malificus, and a new one is up every time the Nether Disruptor is rebuilt. Their loot tables are available in-game in the adventure guide: Raids – Broken Isles.

Note that the bosses rotate every time the Disruptor is rebuilt but you can only kill one boss / week. So say that Brutallus is up the day servers reset and you kill it, you won’t be able to loot Apocron if he comes up on Monday the same reset-week. On the other hand if Brutallus is up before and after reset you get two chances on the same boss.

Thanks, Jalamenos!
