How did Blizzard’s Hallow’s End events treat you?

Yesterday officially concluded the last of Blizzard’s Hallow’s End event, with Heroes of the Storm’s celebration ending a decent bit after both World of Warcraft and Overwatch’s. If you’re me, this meant you spent a ton of Shards crafting all the Hallow’s End stuff you didn’t earn from Loot Chests. In the end, I got pretty much everything I wanted (within reason).

I didn’t get all of the Greymane skins, and there might have been a few things I was semi-interested in that got left behind, but overall, I was pretty happy with my Heroes‘ Hallow’s End haul. But when it came to World of Warcraft and Overwatch, I pretty much missed every single mark I had originally set.

I wanted the new Naxxy pet. I didn’t get it. I wanted to be a horse’s butt. I am not one of those, nor will I ever be. I would have killed for the Dragon Symmetra costume, but I never earned that either. Basically, I was only successful in one of the three games for which I was interested in earning Halloween loot.

A good part of this is because BlizzCon overlapped with the final week of both WoW and Overwatch’s Halloween events, but another part is just plain having the time to focus on all of them. And in WoW’s case, as I’ve said before, it’s really hard to want to complete the same event quests that I did last year. I’m all for farming, but I’d be much more enthusiastic about it if every year or two brought new ways to earn Tricky Treats.

But hey, the fact that I got what I wanted out of Heroes of the Storm is good enough for me. I would really love it if all the Halloween events were as long as the Heroes one, but beggars can’t always be choosers.

How about you? Did you get everything you wanted from one or more of Blizzard’s Halloween events? If not, why not? And if so… how?! Sound off below!
