Are you leveling an alt?

My main’s a Rogue — but she’s a Horde Rogue, and I don’t think I’ll ever switch factions with her. On a whim, I put together a Worgen Rogue once upon a time, but never got her to max level. She’s been sitting on my character select screen at level 33, waiting for the day I pick her up again. With the leveling changes in 7.3.5, I decided that now’s the time to give it another go.

I left off in Stranglethorn Vale, because I like leveling in lush green jungle areas. The Adventure Guide told me I should head to the Hinterlands for more questing. I ignored that entirely, and headed for Westfall instead. Why? Well…I like the story in Westfall. I haven’t done it in a long time. It might have been a silly move before, but now every mob in the zone is right around my level — which is honestly a little weird.

I haven’t gotten enough play in to decide whether or not I like the changes. But having the ability to be able to go back to a lower-level zone and do quests is pretty amazing. I don’t have to think too much about which zones will give me good XP. Instead, I can think about which stories I’d like to play through again. I might change my tune if I decide to hit up some dungeons, but for now, I’m happy with it so far — and I’m really looking forward to playing through Burning Crusade content again.

The lure of leveling changes was enough for me to want to level another alt. But what about you guys? Have any of you decided to roll an alt, or dust off one that’s been left behind? Are there any zones or expansions you’re looking forward to being able to level through from beginning to end? Have you been checking out the new leveling experience? What do you think of it so far?
