Every enchant available in WoW Classic, Classic Hardcore, and Season of Discovery

WoW Classic can be admittedly overwhelming when it comes to many things — enchants, chief among them. There are just so many different options for nearly every gear slot, and even some special ones that can be used on multiple slots. And besides knowing which enchants to get, you often also need to figure out where to get them from. Some of them are available simply by leveling up the Enchanting profession, while others may require raising your reputation with factions such as the Argent Dawn, and others even might be quest rewards. You’ve got to know who to talk to!

This post is about Classic Era, Hardcore, and Season of Discovery realms. We also have a list of Wrath of the Lich King Classic enchants for those of you playing Wrath Classic.

In order to help you make sense of it all, we’re going to list all the enchants available in WoW Classic, including the new Hardcore realms and Season of Discovery realms.

A note about Season of Discovery:

Phase 3 of Season of Discovery is starting, and while the profession skill cap is now being raised to its maximum of 300, there’s still a max character level of 50, which limits what enchants are available to be obtained by players. So we’ll be highlighting which enchants are or aren’t available in that phase.

Without further ado, here are the lists. So sit back, relax, and hopefully find what you want and need!

Every helm/leg enchant in WoW Classic

Unlike modern WoW, some enchants can be used on multiple slots, assuming you have the materials to make/get the enchant more than once. In the case of head and legs, their enchants are shared across all the following items.

Available via normal means:

Available via Dire Maul:

Available via Zul’Gurub:

The following Cloak enchants are unavailable in Season of Discovery:

  • Every enchant in the “Available via Dire Maul” section (require level 54)
  • Every enchant in the “Available via Zul’Gurub” section (require level 58)

Every shoulder enchant in WoW Classic

While shoulder enchants are few and far between, the release of Zul’Gurub saw the number of available options quadruple… to a total of four.

Available via Zul’Gurub:

Season of Discovery:

  • Every shoulder enchant is unavailable, as they all require at least level 58 and Zul’Gurub.

Every cloak enchant in WoW Classic

Cloak enchants add protection and resistance, in general, though there are exceptions, like boosting your Agility stat, increasing your Stealth level, or reducing the amount of threat you generate.

Available via normal means:

Available as of Phase 5, from Ahn’Qiraj:

The following Cloak enchants are unavailable in Season of Discovery:

  • Every enchant in the “Available as of Phase 5, from Ahn’Qiraj” section

Every chest enchant in WoW Classic

Chest enchants will boost your health or mana, give you some absorption, or add a small increase to every base stat.

Available via normal means:

Season of Discovery:

  • Every chest enchant is technically available, though the higher end ones (like Enchant Chest – Greater Stats) might come from recipes that drop from level 60+ elite enemies, being hard to acquire.

Every bracer enchant in WoW Classic

Bracer enchants are very versatile. There is a plethora of effects, but the highlights are certainly the individual stat increases.

Available via normal means:

Season of Discovery:

  • Every bracer enchant is technically available, though the higher end ones (like Enchant Bracer – Superior Stamina and Enchant Bracer – Superior Strength) might come from recipes that drop from level 58+ elite enemies, being hard to acquire.

Every glove enchant in WoW Classic

Glove enchants help you work better with your hands — they improve your ability to perform your tradeskills, or increase the elemental damage from spells that might leave your fingers, among other things.

Available via normal means:

Available as of Phase 5, from Ahn’Qiraj:

The following Gloves enchants are unavailable in Season of Discovery:

  • Every enchant in the “Available as of Phase 5, from Ahn’Qiraj” section
  • Note: Enchant Gloves – Greater Strength is technically available, but comes from a recipe that drops from a level 55+ elite enemy, possibly being hard to acquire.

Every boots enchant in WoW Classic

These enchants for boots might make your feet move faster, or improve your overall Agility, but there are also options to increase your Stamina or Spirit.

Season of Discovery:

  • Every boots enchant is technically available, but Enchant Boots – Greater Agility comes from a recipe that drops from level 52+ elite enemies, possibly being hard to acquire.

Every weapon/shield enchant in WoW Classic

These are the stars of the show. Weapon enchants are powerful, highly sought after, and often make your weapons glow with special effects as well. Sadly, Zul’Gurub doesn’t add any new weapon enchants, but it does bring two new… oils.

1H Weapons:

The following 1H Weapon enchants are unavailable in Season of Discovery:

  • Enchant Weapon – Healing Power comes from Molten Core (level 60)
  • Enchant Weapon – Spell Power comes from Molten Core (level 60)
  • Enchant Weapon – Strength requires Thorium Brotherhood reputation (level 60)
  • Enchant Weapon – Mighty Spirit requires Thorium Brotherhood reputation (level 60)
  • Enchant Weapon – Mighty Intellect requires Thorium Brotherhood reputation (level 60)

The following 1H Weapon enchants might be hard to acquire in Season of Discovery:

  • Enchant Weapon – Unholy Weapon comes from a recipe that drops from a level 58+ elite enemy
  • Enchant Weapon – Lifestealing comes from a recipe that drops from a level 58+ elite enemy
  • Enchant Weapon – Superior Striking comes from a recipe that drops from a level 57+ elite enemy
  • Enchant Weapon – Crusader comes from a recipe that drops from a level 57+ elite enemy
  • Enchant Weapon – Icy Chill comes from a recipe that drops from a level 55+ elite enemy
  • Enchant Weapon – Fiery Weapon comes from a recipe that drops from a level 52+ elite enemy

2H Weapon:

The following 2H Weapon enchants might be hard to acquire in Season of Discovery:

  • Enchant 2H Weapon – Superior Impact comes from a recipe that drops from a level 60+ elite enemy
  • Enchant 2H Weapon – Major Intellect comes from a recipe that drops from a level 58+ elite enemy
  • Enchant 2H Weapon – Major Spirit comes from a recipe that drops from a level 58+ elite enemy

Weapon Oils:

The following Weapon Oil might be hard to acquire in Season of Discovery:

  • Wizard Oil is sold by a vendor in Silithus (level 55-60 zone)

The following Weapon Oils are unavailable in Season of Discovery:

  • Brilliant Mana Oil requires Zul’Gurub
  • Brilliant Wizard Oil requires Zul’Gurub

Shields:

The following Shield enchant might be hard to acquire in Season of Discovery:

  • Enchant Shield – Superior Spirit comes from a recipe that drops from a level 53+ elite enemy

Whew. That was a lot, but we’ve made it. Now, get over there and enchant your gear! Or, at least, begin working on it. You’ve got a nice grind (or two, or three…) ahead of you.
