Okay, so this is one of the more harder heroic challenges of the boss we're going to do is
0:12
Baron Geddon. And the deck I'm going to be using is a Warlock one, as you can see on the left side, or your
0:19
right side, my left, I suppose. That way? Yeah, that way. Yeah
0:26
So let's see here, where's this Warlock deck? Here, the challenge with Baron Geddon is that he's got 100 points of damage that you need
0:36
to punch through. Not only that, his hero power sets you up and it does, I believe, 10 damage per turn
0:46
assuming you have any leftover mana. So that's a big problem. That means you might die in about three turns
0:58
And we're going to use a Warlock because they have a number of ways to get rid of their minions
1:02
In this case, though, we are going to get rid of the Voidcaller and the Floating Watcher
1:08
and hopefully get a fairly decent hand. Oh no, that's not the greatest hand
1:13
That's okay. We've got a nice curve here because for the next four turns we won't take any damage from
1:20
Ignite Man at all because we can drop a Flame Imp and on the second turn use a lifetap to
1:25
draw cards. So our eventual strategy is to get out Mal'Ganis and hopefully have him live long enough so
1:36
that the hero becomes immune and the like here. Let's see, I may as well draw a hero power again and pass the turn
1:59
Let's see, now we're on the third turn. We don't really have much we can do, unfortunately
2:06
There's no Shadow Bolt, there's no minion to blow up, so that means we have to drop a Gnome and use a hero power
2:12
We don't give Geddon a chance to burn us with his Ignite Man at all
2:17
Oh, good grief, that's got 104 damage that I need to cut through
2:22
That's no good. We're going to get a Voidcaller out now. Thankfully..
2:35
There's the Hellfire. Let's see here. Deal 5 damage to minion
2:47
Demon Heart's the only option. We can make it nice and big here
2:52
We can make it a nice, impressive 6, 8, 6
3:02
What do we have? Another Hellfire, lovely
3:18
So we're at 17 health, we could use a bit of life, but we're going to sit on it a little
3:22
bit longer. We'll drop a Floating Watcher and a Clockwork Gnome. Now we should start getting a little bit concerned about our health
3:35
The Living Bomb there. Oh, he's got two Living Bombs. Okay, so this is where the Void Terror comes in handy
3:43
If both of these explosions go off when I pass my turn, I would essentially die, because
3:48
I take 20 damage combined. But luckily we have a way to get rid of them, so what we're going to do right now is we're
3:53
going to first attack with both of them, just to get the damage out of the way and actually
3:57
fully utilize it. And then we're going to drop a Void Terror, so the Void Terror now has the combined attack
4:03
and health of both of the minions that were sacrificed here. I still have 4 mana that I need to utilize
4:14
I don't have much in the way of options right now, which means my only play is to really
4:19
Dark Bomb Geddon and use a Hero Power, which is not good because I'm starting to run out
4:25
of stuff now, unfortunately. Okay, I've got these nice spare parts that do function as fillers, which is good, but
4:36
not really doing much either. 6, 5, Fire Elemental. What I can do is I can use my implosion on it
4:48
Okay, I still have to come up with 2, well 4 mana with this stuff somehow
4:56
Well, I may as well do a little Shadow Bolt to that, and I have to use one of my spare
5:06
parts here. I guess I'll use the coolant. That's pretty random, but it'll have to do for now
5:24
A little Lava Shot going, Magma Rager, okay. Ooh, there we go, there's what I'm looking for
5:34
So the Mal'Ganis is going to come into play now, and it makes these guys a lot stronger
5:40
and it can go toe-to-toe with him too. I don't think I quite have lethal yet, I only have 29 total damage right now, but I need
5:48
to start clearing out some imps here. So I guess I'll go for him right now, get rid of that, and pile the rest of these imps
5:59
onto him. End my turn. Living Bomb. Again, he's going to use a Living Bomb on this
6:13
That doesn't really matter anyways because we have lethal now. So, and that's it
6:27
That is a quick and dirty guide to Berengen. It's one of the more difficult encounters I've found, but this Warlock deck does come
6:35
in handy. You don't absolutely need to have a Mal'Ganis, but as you can kind of tell, I didn't really
6:40
need him at the end there. But having him on curb is kind of nice to have, and it does give you that extra little
6:46
buffer at the end. So good luck, and have fun with the adventure
