Shaman Class Hall Tour (World of Warcraft: Legion Alpha)

Moving on..

The Shaman class has their own class hall now and I don't think that we've actually highlighted it on the website or anything

so I figured I'd show you guys what that was like. Ha ha ha

Somebody's having issues with the Underbelly Guards! Well, that's fascinating. There's a lot of them. Wow

That was... that was pretty intense. Wow, they phased out. Okay

So, that was new. So the Shaman, their class hall is in the Maelstrom

and once you actually get your weapon and you get the class hall all sorted out

you get Stormcall, which takes you there and it's a giant lightning storm and it looks really cool

and when you're not a Shaman and you're watching a Shaman cast a spell it looks even cooler because they just kind of like disappear in this

flash of otherworldly lightning. It's pretty awesome. This is the Shaman class hall

It's very much not done yet. This is the map that you click to go to various parts

to choose which part of the world you want to go to. Right now all we've got is Stormhelm, Highmountain, and Val'sharah

Those are the only zones that are open currently. You've got some familiar Shaman NPCs. Stormcaller Milra is here

This guy over here, this is Advisor Sevel from the Earthen Ring

Aranak Stonespeaker, of course, is here. It seems like this area is sort of cordoned into sections

Hey, look, it's Rhaegar Earthfury. Hey, buddy. You don't look anything like you do. Usually

So anyway, it's kind of cordoned into sections. So obviously down here we've got the fire area

but it's very small and there's not much to it. Up here is kind of the Earth area

And there's also something unique for the Shaman class. It's a game

And the game is great. You talk to... What wisdom do you seek

You can't see him right now because there's Torrin standing on him. Talk to Puzzle Master Lo

Puzzle Master Lo says, hey, you want to play a puzzle game? Balance with nature, blah blah yada yada

Anyway, so you understand and you begin the challenge. You have to flip all these totems until they're all water totems

And the way you do that is you click a totem. And it makes the thing go splash

So this one's actually really easy. I've done it a million times

And I won! That's great. Go me! Triumphant music. The water elementals are really happy too. But

There's different challenges every time. And it gets harder every time

And I'm not going to mess with this forever. Because that just seems like a terrible idea. But

That's just, it's unique to the Shaman Class Hall. I don't think any of the other class halls has anything like this

It's just something fun to do while you're waiting for your Q to bop. Or you're waiting for your raid team to form

Or if you just want to mess around and play some games. Which is also a viable alternative

There is a portal to Dalaran over here. So if you need to get back to Dalaran in a hurry, you can just take the portal

Once again, we've got the little gates that say that this place is clearly under construction

This area seems like it's devoted to air. And we've got more familiar NPCs

There's a McKay Firebeard. Gavin Grayfeather. Up here is Orono. Orono is a member of the Earthen Ring

I don't know what he's doing here with these rocks. But it looks like a lava lamp, kind of

And it's pretty cool. It actually reminds me of... Oh my gosh

That thing from Galaxy Quest. That was all up in the ship

And it was just floating rock things. Okay, so anyway. Over here is what appears to be the water area

This place I actually find really interesting. Because, number one, you've got your standard NPCs

There's Tribe Mother Tora, Gwatora Fourwinds. Bara the Windwatcher. These people I have not heard of before

But I haven't been playing Shaman exclusively. And then there's Mojo Dr. Zindar over here too

What interests me is the water in here. Because the water has that same sparkly quality

of the Well of Eternity up at Hyjal. And the water's in the Veil of Eternal Blossoms

So I'm wondering if that's a thing here? If that's going to be a thing

Or if that's just a cool thing that they stuck in here because it's a pretty light show effect

We're at the Maelstrom. So I'm guessing that it has something to do with that

Because the waters from the Well of Eternity were probably pulled in this direction

You know, when the original Well of Eternity went kaput. So, where do you actually do stuff with your class weapon

You go up here. To this rock that juts out over the Maelstrom itself

Which is actually pretty amazing. This is a really cool effect. And then you click on the rock

And when you click on the rock it shows you your weapon. You can even spin your weapon around

and take a better look at it if you want to. And then you can choose what you want to put your artifact power into

I'm elemental right now. There's a bunch of different weapon appearances that you can reforge to

I do not have any of them. I don't know how they're unlocked

Nobody does as of yet. I'm assuming that probably through raiding dungeons or something

I don't think it's been added necessarily just yet. So yeah, that's the Shaman Class Hall

There's not much to it right now. And compared to the other class halls, is it massive

Absolutely. It's huge. It's gigantic. But there isn't really much in the way of furniture

Or places for people to sit. Or anything that looks like this place would be an occupied space as of yet

I don't know if that's coming in the future or not. But I do know that it appears as though they've still got plenty of construction to do

So we'll just have to see where that goes in the future
