Tavern Watch Plays Triangle Agency 1: The Agency has your very best interests at heart!
Mar 15, 2025
Welcome to beautiful Ternion City, home of the Triangle Agency. In our corporate headquarters, agents are hard at work — right now! — to preserve reality. You like reality, don't you? Of course you do. And your friends at Triangle Agency are here to keep the reality you love safe... preferably without you noticing any of those pesky breaks in reality in the first place! What breaks in reality? We certainly haven't seen any!
GM Phil Ulrich helps the Agency's latest employees with their new field assignment: to investigate a string of strangely similar and equally unexplained deaths. Sounds like a potential break in reality to us!
This is the first of a three-part series in which we play Triangle Agency, an extremely triangular TTRPG by Haunted Table Games. If you enjoyed this game, you can pick up your own copy from Haunted Table Games or Modiphius. We welcome your future contributions to Triangle Agency!
Intro music for this game is Business Training Background Music By Alec Koff. What a great productivity-boosting tune!

[Music] agency greetings and welcome to another
1:14
Tavern watch plays today we are going to be playing a game of triangle agency in
1:19
the heart of beautiful downtown Tan City there's a skyscraper that dominates the skyline that most people can't see if
1:25
you can see it you're one of the lucky people called by the agency for a very important mission stabilizing reality uh
1:32
the agency is uh basically uh fights weird threats that want to unravel
1:37
reality and we'll meet some of the agents here uh starting with Joe well hi
1:44
I'm Joe Perez you may have recognized me from other such wonderful things as other Tavern watch and uh all of our
1:50
other podcasts because that's where I live uh I will be playing playing Terrence htio
1:56
micus um I don't know if I want to reveal who I am quite yet uh but I'm
2:01
more than what I've seen and I really like coffee oops Yeah we can get a little more into who everybody is uh
2:07
when we uh when we when we take a more in-depth look at your lives uh let's go with Liz hi I'm Liz I'm playing Louisa I
2:15
work in PR and uh I am so glad we are all here to play this game together today this is going to be
2:22
great oh and Chris I I don't know if I trust that um so I'm Chris you may
2:29
recognize me as your weekly video game writer uh and I am playing Roger Hensley
2:35
there we go uh Eric uh I'm Eric um one of the newer crew uh blizzard watch first time jumping on one of the
2:41
podcasts and I'm playing Tad silverfield today always the willing to listen all right H Joan hey I'm Joan Albright today
2:50
I'm playing gari Blackthorn AKA doy who is an intern at the triangle Corporation
2:56
and last but certainly not least Nick hi I'm Nick Marina know I write about wild classic and sometimes I appear on other
3:03
podcasts where I famously roll very well I hope to continue that series of famously good roles today as I play case
3:11
who works in R&D for the agency all righty and I of course I'm Phil rck I am
3:16
your GM today which for once means general manager uh so as I said triangle
3:22
triangle agency is a game about uh agents for a uh sort of Supernatural
3:27
corporation that is responsible for stabilizing reality our agents will be hunting down anomalies which are sort of
3:33
obsessions or thoughts that have grown overpowered and threatened to contribute to the destruction of reality as we know
3:39
it reality is important that's where you live so uh it's a it's a very important
3:45
uh uh thing to the company and to you so well first uh we'll we'll see kind of
3:51
what your agents are doing on kind of a typical morning prior to work let's zoom in on uh Louisa uh Louisa we know you
3:59
work in PR uh what what what what are you doing today on a typical day at the
4:04
agency when you're not called for field workor uh when I'm not called for fieldwork okay well I would be reviewing
4:10
reports from other other people in the agency so that I can compile the important messaging that I need to get
4:17
out about the company and make sure that no incorrect messages are getting out because sometimes sometimes people like
4:24
to talk it's just human nature and it's important to make sure they know what
4:29
really happened and and that they don't accidentally perhaps repeat something
4:34
inaccurate that's true and one thing we know about you is that you are very good at making things disappear would you
4:40
like to talk a little about your uh your your own uh anomalous
4:46
abilities well you know I I try not to make things disappear these days I
4:52
unless unless they really deserve it because sometimes things just need to
4:58
disappear you sometimes it's for the best but uh my
5:03
anomaly is absence that is uh caused by
5:08
it has grown on the absence of things should should I say more than that or uh
5:14
I'll leave it up to you if you want to reveal the the the interesting part of your characters background I will say the other agents probably do not know
5:21
the company frowns upon discussing your personal lives at work um yes I will say Joe's character
5:29
is is but I don't I don't I don't talk about this uh Terence knows little about
5:34
you because he prepares your special beverages uh so I'll say that this morning you've discovered something interesting while filing some paperwork
5:41
and making some incorrect paperwork disappear you discover something disappeared that you uh didn't mean to
5:49
um you are maybe putting on some music to help yourself concentrate and you discover that you've completely
5:54
forgotten the words to your favorite song uh how how does this like you can't call it to mind you should know this but
6:00
it is gone from your mind what how how how does this feel for you it's it's
6:06
extremely frustrating because I do know that sometimes my anomaly gets a little
6:11
out of control and wants to make things sort of vanish and revel in the absence
6:19
the holes left behind by these things and it's like not again come on we have
6:25
been over this you don't need to eat music now uh
6:31
uh there's only silence as is appropriate from the absence anomaly uh but uh we'll zoom out we'll check in
6:38
with another agent uh doy uh what tell tell us a little more about about what Do's typical morning before work looks
6:44
like as a uh overworked and probably unpaid intern for the triangle agency U before work um I'm hanging out with the
6:53
my roommate she she likes to kind of uh tease me about all the things that
7:00
I just don't know how to do because my anomaly is manifold which means
7:05
sometimes when I go on a trip I end up a little further away than I end yeah you
7:10
are you are very far away from where you originally uh manifested I would say right yeah yeah it was uh it was let's
7:18
just say that i' never heard of Vermont when I ended up there also not really familiar with you
7:25
know things like cars and television sets and any the stuff that most people
7:31
use on a daily basis around here that's true you've had to get used to electricity anyway uh but one thing that
7:38
you've run into this morning while you're trying to get dressed trying to get ready for work and you're heading out the door for the agency is you keep
7:43
tripping over wires uh on your way through the through the apartment sometimes it's uh you know it's it's
7:50
wires that seem to have extended further from a computer than they did before sometimes it's almost like on your way out the door you trip over a cord and
7:57
it's uh you stumble and it it's like you can't really tell where it's going to or from and you definitely don't know why
8:02
your roommate uh had that there um well I know better than to touch anything so
8:10
I'm just going to try and carefully step over as many of them as I can cool yeah
8:15
you get through that uh you get through that weird uh thing and you I how do you get to work exactly do you uh do you
8:21
grab a bus do you trust buses I assume you don't have a driver's license yet being from a pre-industrial society well
8:27
the bus isn't too bad it was a little little weird at first but I've been on boats before so you know that's true and
8:34
what is a bus if not a land boat all right uh let's next take a look at Roger
8:41
Roger you're um I understand you have some issues with money and keeping it
8:47
you could say that as it turns out the reason for you
8:53
uh being low on money has uh sent you a text message this morning uh as you're getting ready and ask you to uh stop by
9:00
uh stop by his place on your way to work because you are behind on a payment right now oh lovely uh well my way to
9:08
work is really an interesting thing because uh you know I wake up in the morning I stretch out I uh kind of you
9:16
know fix my hair as best I can and then I Stumble out of the broom closet
9:22
downstairs it should be noted the triangle agency does not frown on this because an agent who does not leave the office is an agent that the agency knows
9:29
the location of an all time you can't cause trouble this is company approved I will have to figure out how
9:35
I'm going to go deal with that um but but business first and also maybe there's Donuts in the break room because
9:42
God I'm hungry yeah I think you uh you you receive a series of more urgent text
9:47
messages during the day and this is kind of weird because usually uh vasto hates texting he usually calls you so this is
9:55
kind of odd in and of itself oh that is really bad uh oh yeah uh but uh you can uh you can just let
10:02
that uh slide to the side if you want just you know pray it doesn't catch up with you well uh we'll we'll we we'll
10:08
deal with that um a little bit later yeah that works uh speaking of things
10:14
catching up with them uh Nick tell us a little bit about case well case is
10:19
probably already in the office by now uh time is a funny thing uh especially when
10:26
its rules don't apply to you uh case is a Time piece anomaly uh and after an
10:33
unfortunate encounter with punksatony Phil in the past the abilities of case
10:40
are highly sought after by specifically his bosses for uh always shoveling in
10:48
extra work for things that have already happened so that we can make them happen again more efficiently uh it's always so
10:55
fun when I open up my email inbox and and emails dated 2 days 3 days 4 days
11:03
from now up here letting me know about things that have already I already have
11:09
deadlines that have passed for reminding me to get on the ball again it's uh it
11:14
it you have to admit that doing the job of two people is the new doing the job of one person but you've got the time for it uh however this morning finds you
11:21
in kind of a maybe a little bit of a grumpy mood last night you were attempting to watch TV uh your your
11:28
favorite show which I'm curious what case's favorite TV show is uh ironically
11:33
case's favorite TV show right now is True Detective season one it's always
11:39
fun when you get to go rewatch these things for the first time and for the thousandth time at the same time time is
11:44
a flat circle uh however you had a problem and at first you thought maybe something weird electronically was going
11:50
on and then you thought maybe your streaming service was acting up your TV kept muting itself uh and you try to
11:55
unmute it it wasn't responding you're like the battery's dead and then your uh your stream would switch to
12:01
displaying The Opening screen from a fairly obscure arcade game called pin drop now pin drop was in arcades when
12:08
you were a kid um it's uh it's kind of a if you think like uh alternating stages
12:14
one stage you're uh you're playing uh you're playing Pac-Man collecting power option in the second one uh sort of a uh
12:20
sort of a dance battle uh faceof um and you haven't thought about pin drop in
12:26
years but you almost wonder if this is like a weird advertis in this stream you're not sure why it's muting it
12:31
before it shows you the opening screen though and then it goes away after a while so you just kind of write it off as an advertisement weird things that
12:38
happen at home all right so oh sorry go no no I was just gonna say I often
12:45
wonder if my TV went back to a point in its production period before it was installed with sound
12:52
but you've acquired one of those rare silent TVs uh okay let's see uh we
12:58
haven't talked talked to Tad today uh Tad you've got a uh you've got an
13:03
interesting little um friend that you care for would you like to talk about your uh your little pal your dependent
13:10
so even though I've come to work at the agency I still maintain a casual part-time as the assistant Junior
13:16
zookeeper at the Tan City Zoo and uh part of my duties are taking care of some of the sick and injured animals so
13:23
uh this week I am taking care of grumbles uh a rock HX uh sort of picture
13:28
cross with between a groundhog and an elephant uh it's more closely related to an elephant but it looks like a little woodchuck uh furry guy tusks big toes um
13:37
and he's been kind of munching on some of the uh paperwork on my desk while I try to take calls at the uh helpline at
13:44
the agency of which that's my job trying to take calls from customers and people
13:49
and uh trying to solve their problems sure uh so while you were uh at the zoo this morning picking up some of the No
13:56
Doubt specialized food that a rock hirax requires you know before came to work and started shredding papers maybe maybe
14:02
maybe Louisa drop some off on your desk uh you have a uh I believe you're acquainted with a rival zookeeper is
14:08
that right yeah that's right Keith uh Keith right uh Keith was um not really
14:16
being helpful this morning Keith was uh kind of um basically being a lazy jerk while you were there and mostly
14:22
complaining about his uh social life which you didn't care about uh talking about how he had uh he he wasn't even
14:28
supposed to be here today uh he had taken the day off to uh he had planned to go to an event at uh a dancing event
14:34
at Two Jacks Tavern rated third best third friendliest Tavern in the city uh but the event was cancelled again and
14:41
he's just he's really complaining about this as if he expects you to give a crap about him H Keith has always been so
14:48
utterly normal that it sort of just washes over me and I barely register it yeah Keith is normal to the max all
14:55
right and last but not least uh Joe ter Terence Terren is uh one of our one of
15:02
our Baristas at the agency a very valuable and uh may maybe underpaid and
15:07
undervalued uh job at the agency uh it is very true and Terrence uh doesn't
15:12
seem to Really Care uh about the underpaid or undervalued portion because
15:18
uh really he gets to do what he loves the most which is watch people people
15:23
are fascinating creatures I love watching what they do and uh you know making sure that like their little lives
15:30
it's it's absolutely fantastic and every morning uh Terrence who never seems to leave the agency you're not quite sure
15:38
like everybody seems to know him but nobody quite knows where he goes or what he does but he always seems to be at the
15:43
agency behind the counter of the uh the coffee bar uh with his copper
15:50
1970s lanja uh double boiler uh espresso
15:55
machine always clean and proper always Prim his double breasted vest uh his
16:01
white sleeves rolled up his uh polka dot bow tie always neatly done his hair uh
16:06
perfectly qued back uh his Pinstripes always neatly pleated uh and he starts
16:12
every morning by walking up to this machine uh almost like saying a prayer to it uh making himself a wonderful uh
16:21
dirty chai latte with soy milk specifically soy milk has to be soy milk mammal milk is no good uh and then just
16:28
going and finding a nice corner of the agency to sit down and make sure that nobody notices him he just watches
16:34
everybody go about their day uh and everybody goes about their morning sipping his uh wonderful concoction
16:39
until it is time for him to clock in um and then greet all of his and he calls
16:44
them friends they're everybody says friends right like we're all friendly here um yeah that's right like that's
16:51
what we're supposed to be and wants to make sure that he gives them little tiny cups of happiness because that is the
16:57
most important thing cuz if you are happy the anomalies can't eat perfect yes uh so you you've noticed this
17:04
morning as you're going through your daily routine your daily ritual it it centers you that you're not sure if
17:10
someone has been losing things or if someone is playing a very elaborate and weirdly pointless prank on you but you
17:17
go up to your your extremely fancy double boiler and you you look inside it you know where you would normally put
17:23
the water in for the for the boiling and before you put the water in you see something inside um and you pull it out
17:30
and it's a playing card uh specifically it is a Queen of Clubs um and the
17:36
weirdest part is that this is some kind of weird maybe it's like a horror theme set you've never seen before but the queen appears to be screaming huh that
17:43
is not supposed to be in here I just literally take it out I don't really pay much of mind to it and I just kind of
17:49
put it on the counter and then go back to filling the coffee CU that is the most important thing that is what he is
17:54
absolutely focused on yep and maybe like I said maybe somebody lost it maybe some somebody will pick it up if you leave it
17:59
there on the counter you never know uh you make the rest of your latte without any weirdness uh you go to sit down in
18:06
your little corner table um there is of course a little uh cardboard uh centerpiece uh set up you know telling
18:12
the newest the newest the newest things for sale in the in the coffee bar uh and you realize that there's something
18:17
sticking out of the side of it uh like someone had just tucked a piece of paper into it you you you check that and once
18:23
again it's another playing card this time the Jack of Hearts um once again appears to be screaming very very weird
18:30
theme a little maybe a little unsettling maybe not for you just knowing who you are and what you do I'd like to try to
18:37
do something here and see since uh my my anomaly is basically altering reality I
18:44
want to see if I run my hand over the card if I can adjust it from screaming to Smiling okay is this a I was going to
18:51
say is this an anomalous ability you no it's it's it's the it's the presence night nightmare lets me alter the
18:58
visibility of myself and things around okay uh sure you um sorry I'm looking at
19:04
the wrong thing um yeah you can try it um I think it works a little bit the
19:11
face you can actually almost watch as the face kind of Alters to kind of close its mouth but its eyes are still looking
19:18
unsettlingly at you and you are getting just the faintest hint of anomalous
19:23
resonance ah which is weird you can because you know sometimes if some times
19:29
when agents because of your special residence with anomalies you can uh you know when you encounter these things in
19:34
the field you can kind of track them but you look around and you think ah maybe someone's using their anomaly to play tricks on me but unfortunately you don't
19:42
you can't like find a trail or anything it's almost just like this starts and ends here as though it's kind of a spot
19:47
that just kind of appeared out of nowhere it's it's weird um and you know you seem to be you're you can eventually
19:54
get the face to be less creepy and unsettling since you're more uh since you're stronger than whatever this
20:01
little tidbit of a ripple was um but you know with that out of the way you can
20:06
maybe look you you can maybe continue your ritual to uh look around to people watch yeah I people watch and I'll also
20:13
look to see if other people are noticing the cards in particular and see what their reactions are to it and just kind
20:19
of fade back into the background a little yeah you don't a lot not a lot more of them appear uh and they mostly
20:25
seem to appear around you which is kind of odd you do find one more before your shift ends uh you're you're working uh
20:33
maybe behind the counter once your shift is officially started and you open the uh cash register because someone is
20:38
paying in cash instead of commendations which is kind of odd for today um but maybe they're an offsite visitor maybe
20:45
they're a new hire uh you pop open the register to make some change uh and there is a uh a King of Spades inside um
20:53
this one is also screaming just like the others is there before you really oh
20:58
sorry go ahead I was going to say is there a company protocol for this that I should be like reporting this to somebody uh if it's uh since it's
21:05
happening within company bounds and the company through agency through the ageny OS devices you've been issued is
21:10
observing and noting everything you do it is known to the company um so if it alarm someone enough to require an
21:16
investigation they will send you uh which appropriately enough everyone's uh
21:21
phones kind of beep or your your your aail inbox tells you that you have a new
21:27
message and everyone receives a message from your uh general manager Gail Tilda
21:33
who is inviting you all to the conference room up on the fourth floor for a briefing about a uh a field
21:41
assignment today okay I make my way there immediately well this should be interesting I make sure my papers are
21:47
all put back where they belong and then hurry upstairs I make sure case make sure to go without a pen in case Gail
21:53
tries to get him to sign his pip again okay okay once everyone uh kind of
22:01
filters in uh Gail who is a uh a middle-aged uh a middle-aged
22:06
African-American lady in very Prim like a very Prim suit suit jacket um the face
22:12
I'm going for is the chief from the game show of uh wear in the world is car in San
22:17
Diego Gail Gail welcomes you all in and she's kind of passed uh some paperwork out and she has a uh a PowerPoint
22:24
presentation pulled up on the uh on the projector in the conference room and welcome comes you all in by name hey
22:30
stty good to see everybody uh hope you guys are excited you've got some field work today uh without even saying
22:37
anything uh I just kind of teren is very quietly very like in like trying not to
22:43
be noticed just puts Gail's favorite coffee next to uh her seat and just kind
22:50
of goes back to his seat he notices you and she favors you with a uh a nod thank
22:55
you you're always so thoughtful Terrence well one must keep everyone's morale up
23:00
and then everybody looks over and sees that they all have their favorite coffees like at their seats whether or
23:05
not they notice that as a whole other thing Roger I was GNA say Roger coffee
23:10
is less coffee and more just absolute sludge like it is it is like three
23:16
creamers and 18 sugars so you're having a little coffee
23:22
with your add-ins more or less going to say I believe Liz noted on her uh on her
23:28
intake form that Louisa prefers fruit smoothies with a special ingredient uh yes yes so H this is perfect as always
23:35
Terrence thank you so much well what are friends for this C oh go ahead go Louisa
23:42
gives this perfect closed mouth smile Terence thinks this is perfectly normal as he always has and just doesn't even
23:50
react all righty um anybody else got any comments about their favorite drink oh
23:55
CH just says terence's coffee is so good thank you he Downs it all all in one go and in the blink of an eye uh the cup is
24:02
filled again dad's not really a coffee person yet she she hasn't discovered her
24:09
favorite type but she does like a good hot chocolate so I think I think that's what Terren makes for do for Daddy then
24:18
is like a very chocolate forward uh mocha latte uh but is also substitute
24:27
chocolate milk for the reg milk because you like hot chocolate so it is like and
24:32
just like the little hint of cinnamon and Nutmeg through it as well and just make sure that it like you know he's
24:38
he's trying to you know be on your good side we're gonna have to pause the game I need one of those right
24:45
now fun fact for those at home I was a barista in real life for a while so the drinks are gonna get interesting you
24:51
pick this abolutely the reason I picked this yeah Terren is uh Terren is now the the team hero uh but once everybody has
24:58
their drinks and you're settled in you're kind of Si and you're kind of flipping through the packets that uh Gail has laid out for you and she
25:05
explains uh she pulls up a map on the uh on the on on the uh the screen it's a
25:11
it's a neighborhood I don't know if any of you are familiar with it is a neighborhood on the outskirts of Tan
25:17
City uh called caddy corner it's not the official name uh but it was so named because there was a there was a project
25:24
at one time for the uh you know that was going to connect to the highway on that side of the city to to other locations called the road to tomorrow and
25:31
unfortunately funding fell through because of how much they were going to have to spend to get this done the
25:36
highway project lasted just long enough to uh tear down the homes of half the neighborhood drive the rest up and leave
25:43
behind a disconnected underpass to nowhere but the neighborhood across the corner caddy Corner uh after eager
25:49
buyers cleared out for you know more lucrative more hot parts of the city they uh the community has filled in the
25:55
gaps here um and and there was and the news is that 2 weeks ago a death was
26:02
reported within a neighborhood in the neighborhood of caddy Corner Tony Jackson one of the two owners of a local
26:07
bar called Two Jacks was found with his face Frozen in an expression of pain mouth open as if screaming but the cause
26:14
of death appeared to be a sudden Cardiac Arrest last week another death was reported a young man named Manny dvaro
26:21
was found in the same state uh at a local business called the lro Cade this
26:27
coincidence got the agency's attention which led to the most recent discovery uh unbeknownst to the residents of caddy
26:33
Corner another body was found outside of the neighborhood last night uh a woman in her late 20s again with the same
26:40
expression uh Dead next to a bag of metalworking tools uh the body has been
26:45
dead for about a month and was found during a survey of nearby land for further development the police have not
26:50
yet begun an investigation into her identity which will make it difficult to determine something is killing people in
26:56
the neighborhood and the agency would rather find out what it is and of course have you contain and retrieve it before
27:02
rumors bring attention to the anomaly's activity when the picture of the face
27:08
that's in that like horror esque like locked in horror uh Terrence takes out
27:14
one of the cards that I am absolutely confident is on his person at the and Compares it yeah uh Gail sees you pull it out I
27:21
guess and kind of nods and it's yeah it's definitely the same kind of facial expression it's a face that is like it
27:27
like I said screaming uh screaming in pain uh Frozen uh it it
27:32
definitely seems like maybe this is related in some weird resonant way huh
27:37
well then that's not good it's not Gail says naturally of course we obviously don't want people dying uh but also as
27:45
we said this uh we're we're surmising that this is uh probably anomalous activity and we need to contain this
27:52
before it creates uh loose ends or more corpses or both and Gail clicks to the
27:57
next slide and says uh of course your objective as always is to and she slides two things
28:03
across the table uh she says your objective is to either contain or destroy uh this anomaly uh whatever form
28:10
it may take uh she Pats the first item which is a normal looking briefcase she says of course this is the standard
28:17
agency issue normal briefcase uh it can contain any anomaly of any size or shape
28:23
as long as you can convince it to enter the briefcase or Tire it out to the point that it can't fight you and this
28:29
and here she the other thing she slid across to you looks like nothing so much as a 1950 science fiction ray gun says
28:37
this is the Ripple gun as a last resort if you cannot contain the anomaly This Will Destroy it but you only get one
28:43
shot so aim carefully and I don't think I need to say this you're all good employees and good standing please don't
28:49
hit anything else with it and on the slide also are listed a number of optional objectives as you know the uh
28:57
agency primarily in addition to uh well some of you are getting paid uh Earth
29:02
money uh also rewards commendations to agents who perform well in the field and
29:07
Dem merits for those who don't uh to see who is best ingraining the lessons of
29:13
proper agency behavior and culture and other work uh as you all know uh you have some that go along with your job
29:19
you're all aware of what those are uh and there're also a set of three optional objectives no one knows why the
29:25
company uh sets these optional objectives it's just uh you know reality is weird and the agency is unfathomable
29:32
sometimes your optional objectives for today are uh plus 10 commendations for the first agent to get the highest
29:38
possible score on pin drop plus one Commendation for each agent who collects
29:44
a jack playing card and she points at you terance and says no the one you found this morning doesn't count a and
29:50
and last but not least plus one dearit for each noise complaint caused by an agent say any questions no seems pretty
29:57
straightforward as usual okay well everyone uh you have your assignments you have your equipment uh
30:02
let's uh let's get out there in the field and uh make the agency proud agents and with that Gail returns to her
30:09
uh corner office right well then shall we go to the bar and see where the dead body was and in Terren is just
30:16
absolutely like it's a giant grin ear to ear like like this is completely
30:21
unfingered
30:26
the table but he like drags himself out of his seat and he like all right let's
30:32
just go do this Roger do you need me to make sure that it is more caffeinated next time um you know I don't even think
30:40
it's that today it's personal stuff you know how it is oh I understand
30:45
completely and you see Terrence very very quietly puts away a IV bag full of
30:52
caffeine hey Terrence did you happen to uh bring a second coffee like you have lately sometimes and Tad is trying to
30:58
get the coffee out of the fabric of the seat that he's in because his hierax has knocked it over I mean for you of course
31:05
and you see Terrence just kind of like reaches in and pulls for you my friend
31:11
always I am prepared thanks Terren you're quite welcome shall we then uh I
31:16
mean that dead body scene of crime event I don't know what we call it anymore uh
31:22
but it's not going to wait forever well it might in my case
31:28
uh can somebody give me a ride well I thought we would all go together it's a
31:33
lovely day for a walk sounds like maybe you don't want to let Roger drive
31:38
though okay so everybody piles into someone's vehicle I don't know who's uh
31:44
who's in charge of transporting everyone probably has to be one of the few of you who actually leaves the agency I've got
31:50
a minivan uh from the zoo for the week so perfect perect pile into the Dodge
31:56
easy you guys piling to a Tan City Zoo branded Minivan and head out to caddy
32:02
Corner which uh as stated it's kind of uh it's kind of out on the outskirts of Tan City it's not um it's not a real
32:09
growing neighborhood thanks to the highway project but it's close-knit as the reputation it has um and on I'm
32:16
assuming there is there anything anyone wants to stop for on the way otherwise it sounds like you were heading to to
32:21
Jack's tavern I'm good I think I have everything I need there's the thing that I should stop for that I am very clearly
32:29
ignoring uh just on on the way down before we got in the car I just made sure to grab a rubber duck off my desk
32:36
yes uh everyone also has um as noted in your competencies everyone has their uh
32:43
whatever their initial requisition was uh along with as stated the normal briefcase and the Ripple gun um whoever
32:50
wants to keep charge of those can keep charge of them but remember the Ripple gun only has one shot um and the agency
32:55
would prefer that you capture the anomaly instead uh you know obliterating
33:01
uh thoughts uh which is really what anomalies are when you get down to it is embodied thoughts and obsessions uh
33:07
eliminating those can be problematic sometimes but uh you guys pull into uh
33:13
caddy corner and you find it's uh it's a fairly so it's a small neighborhood most
33:18
of the businesses are centered around a uh a a kind of a Central Square it's
33:23
very easy to find two Jack's tavern it is a uh squat rck building with a sign
33:28
over the door stating the name and a hand painted Banner taped to it in duct tape that reads third friendliest bar in
33:34
the city this of course being an award that they won from the attorney in City Times
33:40
uh just a few months ago well we're definitely in the right place if it's the third friendly you know one of my co-workers
33:47
at the zoo said something about this bar this morning but I can't remember what it was because he's just so boring I'll
33:53
try to think of it it might jog your memory when you uh see out front there's a chalkboard sign with the events of the
33:59
week on one side normally it's a the normal lineup looks like open Mark Monday uh WEA Wednesday featuring the
34:06
Bachata basement band and Friday night grooves with DJ Teddy G however every
34:11
event on there has been crossed out and scrolled over with the word cancelled uh and as you it's one of those you know
34:17
chalkboard things that kind of sits on the sidewalk and on the opposite side of as you walk past it says in memory of Tony Jackson the original Jack of Hearts
34:24
so at this point is the bar closed uh or open or is it like shut down while
34:29
they're pending the investigation it is uh so uh it is open uh Tony's death was
34:36
let's see when did it when did I say it was Tony's Tony's death was two weeks ago so you know the body's been hul away
34:42
it's been taken in for an autopsy that's why they ruled a cardiac arrest uh the bar is open um and yeah uh there you can
34:50
see there are people inside you know cuz obviously people have to work at a bar during the day to get it ready for that evening but um there's uh yeah it's open
34:58
you guys can't go inside you don't have to like break into the bar or anything I'll let somebody else take Le don't everybody talk at
35:04
[Laughter] once I will walk into the bar sure uh
35:10
okay so you open the bar it's an old wooden door uh little window at the top that looked like it was once painted like a playing card uh there's an ad
35:16
taped to it uh some of these words are maybe don't mean anything to you uh a bunch of clip art graphics on it it says
35:23
sweaty stinky covered in beer do your laundry at the laundro Cade and get $5 worth of arcade tokens each month uh
35:29
there's also an old flyer for a block party out at a place called The Station uh you can file those away as you walk
35:35
in as you open the door and walk in um it is an it is kind of an old school Dive Bar Bar um low lights shadowy
35:42
Corners a floor that's sticky all the time for no obvious reason and wooden furniture with the varnish peeling off
35:49
of it um it's bigger than it looked on the outside because it actually fills the building next to it uh there is a uh
35:56
there's a bar on one side of the room and a fairly large dance floor for a uh
36:02
place this size along with a DJ booth that also serves as a stage when you need to and you know a bathroom a door
36:10
that says office and a few customers inside uh doing day drinking and uh one
36:15
bartender uh behind the bar what would you all like to do everyone looks up when you walk in because six people
36:21
filing into this bar in the middle of the day is definitely more activity Than This Bar usually gets in the mornings I
36:27
look at that equal bewilderment because why are so many people day drinking this
36:32
early Louisa pulls off her sunglasses because she's been like covered up and she's oh it has been so long since I've
36:39
been somewhere like this this is Great Is it supposed to smell like that yes
36:45
that's part of the charm I'm G to just speak candidly to everybody I would like
36:50
to just remind everyone we're here investigating a death please don't be too cheery it might alert the locals
36:58
how uh how loudly are you saying this that one's more of just like a like a
37:03
not a panicked whisper but like a hey you know dead guy cheer too cheery don't
37:09
make it hot just be easy okay uh one thing oh go ahead Bill
37:16
no I was gonna say go ahead go ahead I was gonna say when uh when Roger enters one thing to to notice if if you're
37:23
paying any attention is he he makes a really wide birth around everybody like even even his co-workers when he walks
37:30
past them it's almost like um you you know when people have like uh The Germ avoidance like Hoy Mandel has kind of
37:37
like that uh make sure that he takes a a good wide birth around everybody as he
37:43
steps up kind of towards the bar um and just pauses as he gets close yeah yeah
37:49
when you get uh close to the bar uh the guy behind the bar uh looks up at you
37:54
and he's kind like can I uh get you or your friends something um you're close enough down to
38:00
the bar to see um so he's he was standing at the half of the bar that's farthest from the door and you notice as
38:06
you get closer that the part of the back of the bar closest to the door is
38:11
cordoned off and he won't he doesn't go over to that side while he's cleaning if he needs something that's on that side
38:17
of the bar he kind of reaches over um and brings it back he's he's only working on this half of the bar that's
38:23
not cordoned off does it seem conscious or does it seem like a sub conscious like reaction yeah yeah it's very
38:29
conscious okay he uh he doesn't look like he even necessarily likes looking at that side of the bar is there uh
38:36
something going on with the side of the bar that's his partner's side of the bar
38:41
yeah he kind of just he said well that's that's right yes he kind of gestur to what he says that's where um kind of he
38:47
says you no you folks don't look like you're from here uh we had a bit of a uh
38:53
mishap a few weeks ago the uh one of the owners uh was back here on this side of the bar and uh had apparently had a
39:00
heart attack right behind the bar and uh the cops kind of cordoned this side off while they were investigating and then
39:06
even after they took the body away Jackie's kind of kept it uh you know she's kind of kept it blocked off and
39:12
they won't they won't even let me clean on that side and he kind of oh that's just terrible yeah he says I'm I'm
39:18
keeping a dive bar with half a bar but anyway what can I what can I get you folks I would like a coffee Martini
39:26
please coffee Martini all right uh he's clearly not used to anybody ordering
39:32
anything that comes in a martini glass at a dive bar but he kind of you know he kind of looks around he's like okay I
39:38
know we have martini glasses here somewhere and he finds one and he he he uh he he's having issues finding the
39:44
glass where he does find it but he makes the drink expertly this guy has clearly uh he clearly knows his way around a bar
39:51
and he makes you a fantastic coffee Martini I tip my non-existent hat to the
39:56
skill uh game recognized [Laughter]
40:01
game so it seems like such a a tragedy to that have befall here I'm I'm sorry
40:08
to hear that was there any indication that there was any health problems like normally there's like a buildup or a
40:14
leadup k and he says no it's it's weird man like you know some people want to
40:19
say oh you work behind a bar you probably drink himself to death Tony didn't even drink like yeah he worked
40:24
late but like Tony Tony only drank root beer he's maybe the sugar got to him but
40:31
like he wasn't even that old man it's he kind of stops you can see he's kind of getting emotional he's like I'm I'm
40:36
sorry I I don't need to dump this on you you guys just came to you just came to visit I'm sorry I I all I yeah I reach
40:43
out a hand I'm like no it's it's okay human emotions are real and valid he
40:48
kind of takes a deep breath and he says okay thank thank you he doesn't think
40:53
too hard about the working about the wording of that Joe you uh you Terren feels a sensation of like
41:01
almost like the sensation of like a nice hug or a warm afternoon and you realize that the agency has awarded you a
41:07
commendation for making someone feel welcome
41:12
excellent uh yeah the uh a a side note here is that uh when when you receive uh
41:20
when you receive uh commendations or demerits uh from the agency you know it
41:25
immediately a commendation is like I said it's a it's a positive feeling it's like it's like getting a warm hug or a
41:31
uh you know your favorite drink after a long day or anything like that and a demerit imagine uh the parent you like
41:39
most being disappointed in you or going to your favorite restaurant discovering
41:44
that your food is gone that feeling is the feeling that you experience when you receive a demerit Joe uh has received a
41:52
commendation congratulations excellent plain in my strengths uh I want to take a look around the bar real quick and see
41:59
if there is any like artwork hanging up or like paintings or anything like facing where Tony was found okay um so
42:08
most of what's uh around the pl there's nothing that stands out right away
42:13
there's um you know there's a they've got like a they've got a a newspaper thing tacked up and framed where they
42:18
got their third friendliest bar in the city award there's some like artwork that looks like playing cards or
42:25
whatever playing on their name uh um but unlike the cards you were finding this morning um like they're maybe they're
42:31
faded they're a little tattered because the art is kind of old um cuz this bar is about 20 years old or at least has
42:38
been owned by the current oders for about 20 years but you don't you don't see any like screaming face cards like
42:44
you this I'm not looking for cards I'm looking for hanging artwork there's a
42:49
specific reason um oh okay um one of my one of my anomaly abilities is I can
42:55
actually transport myself into artwork um or paintings or pictures or things
43:01
like that it's called site or site visit so I can actually go there as if it was a real place and actually speak to the
43:08
inhabitants so if there's a painting with like a person or a reproduction of
43:14
like sir rots the picnic or whatever um in theory if I can get everybody
43:20
distracted I can try to put myself into it and ask them what happened you know
43:26
what uh yeah there is one it's uh you know that famous black velvet painting of dogs playing poker yes there is there
43:33
is one except it's only two dogs and they're playing Blackjack uh yes that painting is hanging up uh you can try to
43:39
use your site visit power so this is our first use of a role in this game uh
43:44
roles in Triangle agency fairly easy to uh figure out they are always 6 D4 uh
43:51
which uh and you have a stat that you are rolling with a quality assurance which in this case is attentiveness now
44:00
do you have any uh you don't have any qas in attentiveness correct so this does mean that you'll be rolling with
44:06
one burnout and I'll explain what that is after you roll but go ahead and roll 64 and you're looking for as many threes
44:12
as I have four threes okay so since uh okay so you have four threes since you
44:19
don't have since you don't have anything in a tness one of those threes becomes not a three but this actually works out
44:25
for you because what you have now world is 33s uh which not a tricc sence because it wasn't a natural three threes
44:32
which is what this game calls a crit but it does mean that your role works and generates no chaos chaos is a think of
44:38
it as a token that I get to use to do funny abilities with uh you generate one from the burnout but none from the role
44:45
itself so you succeed um you get to do the h a success and you get to do the on
44:52
every third three uh I think twice cuz you get one for just oh no once CU you
44:59
got so uh go ahead and read your building and tell me what you're doing uh well so first what I'm going to do is
45:04
with anybody like to join me you've probably seen Terrence do this a couple times before where he like very much
45:11
focuses on like a painting and you can see his his eyes get a little red like
45:16
they glow a little red and his shadow gets a little elongated um if anybody would like to join me all they have to
45:22
do is put their hand on my shoulder I would like yeah goe I would like to take
45:28
this I like I can kind of see that Terrence is doing something so I'd like to start up a conversation with the
45:33
bartender done a million times before I was hoping for this thank you so how
45:38
long has this place been here do you have any specialty drinks and just kind of go on with a constant stream of
45:44
chatter and I'll order a drink just whatever it takes to keep him engaged in this conversation yeah this is actually
45:50
perfect because as the agency will remind you use of anomalous power so people can witness it creates loose ends
45:56
and loose ends are bad MH but no one who uh if all six of you had disappeared
46:01
we'd have a few loose ends but if only one of you maybe wanders out of everyone's line of vision it disappears into a painting while the bartender the
46:08
person paying the most attention to you is distracted I think you're good um so
46:13
we'll cover uh we'll do so you get your uh drink um whatever the bar doesn't
46:19
really have a specialty but he makes you a very nice uh a uh it's a a sort of
46:25
specialty Gonic instead of oranges uses uh hints of blood orange in it um it's
46:30
it's an interesting flavor um meanwhile Terren yeah so the way disappear into
46:36
the painting yeah and the way that it looks because uh because I got the uh the every third three uh is I am a dog
46:44
playing poker so I basically turn into a corgi dressed exactly the same as Terrence was uh but like I'm in the
46:51
painting now as a corgi playing poker with these amazing yep so anyone else looking at
46:56
painting now sees a third dog in the painting uh Terren is inside it with two other dogs uh playing card games and
47:03
they kind of look at you and go who where'd you come from oh well I'm just uh decided to pop in and and hopefully
47:09
you don't mind wanted to uh ask you a few questions that I kind of point out uh because from our perspective the bar
47:16
is the painting right yes uh yeah there is a there's a painting hanging on the wall of two Jack's tavern with uh the
47:23
with uh a bunch of humans depicted in it currently talking to a bar tender uh I just wanted to know did you
47:30
notice anything strange uh with the painting a couple weeks ago the bartender did did anything happen before
47:37
he he passed away he said the the kind of oh yeah the the one who's not yeah
47:43
that's so weird that that change that painting's been you know the same forever uh yeah the um and they
47:49
basically tell you that he was uh there late one night uh he was working on um
47:55
he was he was working on trying to get something uh with the speaker system they said they're not sure why he was
48:01
running the bar speaker system that late like everyone was gone um and he kept fiddling with the Bas on it like he was
48:07
trying to you know he was he was trying to get some sound right he he'd listen he'd listen to it inside he kind of Nod
48:13
he'd go outside he' come back in he kind of shake his head and he's like no that's still too loud out there and then
48:19
he'd adjust a little more and he's trying to Bas you know and they said we're not sure what he was doing but then at one point he was behind the bar
48:25
and he kind of he he was having uh a root beer to drink and we saw something
48:32
like we don't really know something that almost just looked like a bunch of wires uh kind of almost appeared out of
48:39
nowhere uh and wrapped itself around him and it looked like he was screaming but
48:45
uh you know that's that's the last time we saw him well I thank you very much for your
48:51
time uh and I hope you enjoy your game thank you so very much sure uh you sure
48:57
you don't want us to deal you in oh I couldn't possibly uh uh and then you
49:02
just see uh like he pulls out a couple cards from his sleeves it wouldn't be right
49:08
um and he just kind of stands up gives him a little bit bwing and then pops back out of the painting uh yeah yep so
49:15
he uh yes he could brought brought a jack out with you uh that wouldn't be natural I don't think right like it's
49:22
not I don't know if that would count right because otherwise it just it just said you had to collect
49:28
Jack while you're in the field yeah then I absolutely would as I'm picking up the the cards that I pulled out of my sleeve I'd grab one of the Jacks from the table
49:34
sure uh yeah there's uh yeah there's one laying down right now uh that one of the dogs had and you pick up the Jack and
49:41
you walk out and they kind of go hey and then that's the last thing you hear as you exit the painting and when you guys
49:47
if anybody looks at the painting now it's interesting because when you went in it was just two dogs playing Blackjack now one of the dogs uh only
49:54
has one card in front of him and there's a couple scattered on the of the table where no one is playing and both dogs are looking directly at out of the
50:00
painting as though they're looking at you and kind of barking but it's like it's frozen in that way I'm doing this
50:06
because the other on every third three that Joe didn't pick was when you leave this piece of art has returned to its original condition it has changed uh
50:13
when he went in so uh so what's what's anybody else doing case is just watching
50:18
the entire time and the painting and the only line that anyone can hear him say
50:24
to himself is they're dogs and they're playing Blackjack and he Giggles to
50:30
himself they are in fact dogs playing Blackjack uh also I realized I missed something Liz you created a distraction
50:36
for uh ter did you I did receive a commodation it's almost like lizz's
50:42
character and mine are built to playoff each other a little bit see that's working as a team yeah so um while teren
50:50
was doing that uh Liz you were talking to the bartender who you can he'll he'll tell you his name is Sharie if anyone
50:56
asks um is there anything anybody else was doing including Louisa or anybody else um but small case is giggling at a
51:02
painting but anybody else while this is happening uh Tad was going to go straight back to the the bathroom to see
51:09
if there was any sort of uh you know back room office anything okay uh so
51:14
there is there are both a bathroom and there's also an office which is marked by a sign that clearly says office um
51:20
you try to get to the bathroom and the uh the door is locked um and if he hears you kind of you know rattle the door uh
51:27
stre will look over and go you need the uh you need the key to get in there cuz we got to you know keep it clean ah
51:32
sorry about that okay are you are you going to get the key pretend you okay so he'll hand you the key and he kind of
51:37
leavs he says look uh keep your eyes open in there I've seen I don't like bugs okay I know it's weird guy like me
51:45
working in a DI bar anyway uh but I've seen something in the bathroom that looks like a weird spider um it gives me
51:52
it gives me the heie jeebies man I don't nobody wants a spider when they're in the bathroom but just keep your eyes peeled don't get bit um I've I haven't
51:59
seen it like had on but like just be careful and they're okay and he hands you the key ah believe me I get that
52:05
I've heard a lot about that but it shouldn't bother me oh you're a braver man than I all right so you can take the key which uh is you know just just an
52:12
ordinary key with a little wooden tag hanging from it says two Jack's tavern and you let yourself into the bathroom
52:17
it is a uh just kind of a uh you know a single one stall bathroom um it's got a
52:23
you know some old school graffiti on the wall like what you would expect to see written on the wall in a die bar bathroom um and what and so the contents
52:33
obviously graffiti toilet sink uh and in the corner what looks like a coiled set
52:38
of wires all right uh I guess I'll take a take a little bit of a closer look at the coiled set of wires it just seems
52:44
out of place for uh a bathroom that can't be too dry yep so you you approach
52:49
this it it is it is kind of humid in here you know how bathrooms with old toilets are uh as you approach it this
52:55
thing almost coils up then and forms almost like a long limed spider like imagine a daddy long legs built out of
53:02
stereo wires um and it kind of raises two of its uh little arms towards you
53:09
and kind of snaps them towards you and it's it's you can see Sparks coming off
53:14
this thing is trying to electrocute you what do you do uh if it hasn't pinned me down I'm going to kind of make a quick
53:21
back out of the bathroom like I didn't ever enter in the first place okay um
53:28
yeah you find uh so you back out of the bathroom as fast as you can and you hear something like gently thumping on the
53:33
door of the bathroom um and like Shar looks over at you and he kind of he sees
53:39
you back out in a hurry and he kind of gives you this look like see I told you uh yeah that's that's fascinating
53:45
I'd be uh interested to know what species that is I'm going to take a second and uh look it up here on this
53:51
app that tells me what kind of insects or arachnids uh live in this area okay
53:57
um ability are you just Consulting an app on your phone I'm pretending to yeah sure uh yeah you pull up your phone and
54:04
it's uh you know you find one of those you've got one of those little apps where you can take a picture of an animal and it kind of identifies it for
54:09
you um and you don't find anything uh it turns out that uh spiders made of stereo
54:17
wires are not a native species to this area um but then you don't have too much time to think about it because you kind
54:23
of you're a little crackling and you realize that it is trying to wiggle out from under the door uh in the it's
54:29
basically deforming its body to scoot out the crack under the door what do you want to do uh I'm going to try to alert
54:35
the rest of the team by kind of giving a loud like here uh so that I can so I can
54:41
get some help here but uh I suppose I'll try to open the door and kick it back in okay uh okay so rest of the team you
54:50
hear Tad kind of make a weird strangled noise as he comes out of the bathroom in a hurry and then he opens the door again
54:56
and kicks something back into it what is everyone what is everyone doing i' I do have a question go ahead how many other
55:03
people are in this room I know you said the bartender and couple of people but yeah me uh let me see there are there
55:11
are three other people here how appropriate uh just kind of sitting at the table um Tad's quick exit has drawn
55:18
the attention of none of them as it turns out like I said Sharie saw him come out he is convinced that Tad saw
55:25
the weird spider he worn him about but none of the patron the patrons are kind of facing away um there's one who's kind
55:31
of in the corner playing a video poker machine um the other two are pretty focused on their drinks or they're looking at their phones they're not
55:37
paying any attention to Tad right now did any of us kind of see the spider or just watched him kick something I would
55:43
say just because of how low it is to the ground and because of the tables in your way you saw him you probably saw him
55:49
kick something but you didn't see what he was kicking at um but he did seem kind of alarmed and was trying to Signal
55:55
all of you Cas is just going to go over to Tad and uh ask I'll ask him what what
56:02
is going on back here uh yeah we've got something going on in the bathroom which uh is definitely related to whatever
56:09
we're here for uh seems to be some kind of electrical wire creature yeah you can
56:14
hear it kind of uh like it it's you kicked it back in and you shut the door but you can once again see its little
56:20
little little 3 and a half millimeter Jack legs are kind of trying to sneak out under the door again it's trying to
56:25
it it's it it would have electrocuted your shoe if your shoe was able to conduct electricity oh this kind of Spark It's
56:32
kind of sparking at your shoes is there anything else like in this area to help keep the door shut for now or are we
56:39
just holding it back or holding uh it's it's not opening the door like the door is shut you guys can lock it it's it's
56:45
there's a gap under the door and it's it's uh it's made of wires it's trying to sneak out underneath it I think I'm
56:51
going to wander well I'm going to wander over and uh as this thing is trying trying to uh wiggle its way out I'm
56:59
going to lean down uh and take a packet of sugar out of my pocket and blow it on
57:05
it and try to do nap time yes uh nap time says blow a pinch
57:10
of sand sugar counts just fine and roll subtlety uh you kind of hear Sharie leaning back and go one at a time in the
57:16
bathroom guys um and then you lean down and you blow sand at this thing Joe roll 64 for me okay now this I have what is
57:24
it three in subtlety so I does that do anything uh what it is is you don't have so you don't roll with burnout because
57:30
you still have subtlety and you still have subtlety quality assurances um and on this Ro if you want to turn non
57:38
threes into threes you can spend your subtleties one one for one to turn a non
57:43
three into a three then I am going to spend one to turn one non three into a
57:49
three to give me 3 three okay hold on before he does that is there a clock in the bar uh yeah there's almost
57:55
definitely a clock in the bar okay uh case sees that uh terce is trying to do
58:00
nap time and immediately runs over to the clock and punches it to activate
58:08
overclock and so it's all these PE you just see
58:14
one guy walk over to the bathroom and then immediately run out and just jump and punch the only half working clock
58:22
and what it does is when you are an ally rolls an a nominally ability other than this one after seeing the result punch a
58:28
clock and roll initiative on a success you'll send the target back in time to assist themselves allowing them to use
58:33
the same ability a second time with an identical number of Threes this second use can affect new targets and does not
58:40
generate chaos or Transcendence effects so oh so what would that keep so what
58:45
would that do then in this case how do that how would that work then so what'll so what'll happen uh give yourself a QA back you rolled two what'll happen is if
58:52
Nick succeeds at this you will have you will have rolled four instead
58:57
um and then uh the second ones don't generate any uh chaos so you would still
59:02
gener you would generate the normal number of chaos but you wouldn't uh have to spend any qas and then I would get
59:07
the additional three stuff right so I would get the the the threes and then the I would get the success and then the additional three effects too then at
59:14
that point right yes you would sweet and depending on how and depending on how well Nick succeeds you may get extra
59:19
threes um I will add this will definitely create Loose Ends because Nick just Sprints across the room jumps
59:25
up and punch is the clock is just the clock hanging on the wall so they can point at it and go it's 2:30 get
59:32
out uh so uh I will note that this will make a few loose ends but Nick go ahead and roll oh well it's four threes four
59:40
threes yeah okay that's fine that gives me two chaos uh that is success for you
59:46
and also you hit the add the one additional threes so another so Joe what happens is the second copy of you you
59:53
almost see you almost see like a ghostly version of you appear and blow a second pack of sugar at the thing and you now
1:00:00
have rolled a total of five threes oh which uh so that only yields one chaos
1:00:06
total because it's five on a roll of six and you get uh unfortunately yeah you
1:00:12
you get nap time and you get an additional three effect yeah so uh this thing is going to go to sleep and it's
1:00:17
going to go to sleep for an additional hour okay unless I see more than one of it then there'll be an additional Target
1:00:24
ype you you just see the um and it's little like I said it had been kind of sticking its little wires
1:00:29
under the door and trying to spark and then just kind of goes and you just see them fall flat on the floor and it just looks for all the world like a bundle of
1:00:36
stereo wires that's kind of sticking out front of the door Nick's action on the other hand uh case's little uh run and
1:00:43
punch has caught some attention uh you run across the bar everyone kind of looks up and you jump up punch the
1:00:49
clock's like man that's our only working coock it was an hour slow you didn't set it ahead these people need to know the
1:00:55
right time so that they can uh schedule their drinking accordingly what place are you running here but you punched you
1:01:02
punched my clock I'm fixing it's look it's fine everything's fine so I will
1:01:08
note here that it is definitely not fine but one thing that you have the ability to do as an agent is ask the agency to
1:01:15
change reality for you this sounds like you want to change reality so that the
1:01:21
clock is in fact fixed yeah okay well take up your 64 and then you're going to
1:01:27
roll with uh let me see which Q you're definitely lying so you're rolling 64
1:01:33
with duplicity so that means that if I don't have anything in there then I don't get any uh it means you will have
1:01:40
one burnout okay um but in this case um I was going to say uh you you have
1:01:46
because you're pursued you have a thing called a burnout release called wasn't me when you're doing something that will
1:01:52
cover Your Tracks ignore all burnout this is definitely you attempting to cover your tracks for doing whatever you
1:01:57
just did so I'm going to say in this case that applies and you can ignore the burnout so just roll 64 and we'll see
1:02:05
what happens oh yeah that is damn uh wait quick clarifying question we're
1:02:12
only counting threes like as they are nothing above threes right it's like four fours are useless fours are also
1:02:19
yeah you're strict so for successes you're strictly counting your threes okay uh one three okay it's enough to be
1:02:27
a success but it generates a whole bunch of chaos uh and so you punch this clock
1:02:32
and you guys are yelling and you tell him that hey I was just fixing your clock so it be the right time and you
1:02:38
show him the clock and sure enough it is not damaged it is um it is in fact you
1:02:44
you you did some percussive maintenance on it and it is in fact uh it is in fact
1:02:50
an hour ahead which is in fact the right time [Music]
