concerned that that might give caddy Corner a reputation with such happening

in such rapid succession that might discourage others from investing or even

caring if this place is such a uh vibrant and well- behaved and organized

Community I think it would maybe attract the other attention don't you aren't you afraid of that I mean it could but uh

mostly I think what needs to be focused on is the noise violations there have been so many and I don't know how

anybody can sleep in this neighborhood it really oh you go on K I feel like

you've heard a lot of people kind of dismiss you uh and Ted kind of comes up and tries to put a hand on her shoulder

partway down the stairs even the off-white walls of the basement are padded with heavy soundproofing panels

and the steps and the floor on the way down have this thick gray carpet um and

downstairs uh you see it's it's one room it's finished finished um and what you

see down there is there's a couch by one of the walls next to a side table with a lamp uh and there's a folded quilt and a

pillow on the couch uh on the opposite wall is a desk uh with a uh printer uh

where you suspect that the uh you know where she was printing the Flyers that were upstairs um and the uh a pile of

coiled up thin white cords this room is completely silent uh but your internal

sounds are magnified like when you take a breath or you swallow or you feel your heartbe or your arm brushes against

yourself yeah yeah yeah like it is magnified we have one of those at work

and it is freaky um yeah those are super weird and I and I look at her and I just

I nod I'm like and I put my hand over my chest and I mouth without saying wow um

and as I'm doing that I'm scanning the room and seeing if anything is giving me the resonance just like I got from the

playing card earlier today um so this whole this whole place is because it is

the anomalies domain um you the the walk from so the area like if you could see

it on a map there'd be like a bubble of 227 ashran and the the the la ro Cade

now are both part of the the anomalies domain so to talk a little bit about anomalies as Joe said earlier anomalies

are thoughts that are born from kind of an obsessive repeated thought and they come into existence with with a focus

there is one thing that they are driven to do um and all their uh all their

impulses are to achieve the focus and then its domain is where it is safest

you're in the heart of it you are very you are very close to the anomaly is what you can tell now I guess the

manifestation for the anomalies um do they typically are we looking at a control situ here where it's usually

like an object or a physical manifestation that can be interacted with or is it remain an ethereal idea I

guess is the question almost all of them manifest as physical objects do I see

anything that resonates more I'm like I'm looking at the white coil of of wire

um Eric's character might re Eric you were the one who tried to go to the bathroom right at the bar ran into the

uh the spider this looks like that only bigger and it's made of something else it's not stereo wires but it has given

points it out to and you look at it you realize it's not connected to anything it's like it's just a it's a pile of

coiled wires in the corner and this is where I would basically look at at uh in this case it would be Roger um and just

kind of position myself uh between the ey line of of Caitlyn and the uh the

object um and just like kind of like start leading her back upstairs uh as I

leave the briefcase uh to Louisa uh make sure that she's got that ready um and

then kind of like lead her back upstairs to continue talking with her and and keep her pulled aside okay yeah she'll

go back upstairs with you um she assumes that the rest of you want to stick around and experience the true Bliss of

a completely sound proof room and while we're doing that I'm actually also going to use this as an opportunity to further

distract her by showing or introducing her to what a mocha pot is and how silent it is at making coffee oh man she

yes upstairs in the kitchen she's absolutely thrilled at the idea that she could make coffee without making noise

the other five of you are still in the basement what do you want to do I think it's time to start making some noise

well we could make noise and upset it but we could also try and talk it down I

mean and I'm I'm talking in a quiet low calm voice you know by these deaths in

the neighborhood there's a lot of attention generated by deaths particularly unexplained deaths and

attention means police officers of the law with those cars with the Sirens

coming and going each person who disappears is going to cause something like that and as people leave if people

are afraid and they leave the neighborhood you're left with all of this empty real estate but that doesn't

necessarily mean silence perhaps this highway project will be reinvigorated

because of the ease of accessing all of this real estate imagine eight Lanes of

terrible really quiet this is amazing as you start talking yeah the thing in the

corner unravel um and what I want you to imagine is the thin spindle likee bones

of the inner ear and then I want you imagine that they're connected together in a vaguely humanoid shape stretched

out to 6 feet tall that's what you're face to face with and as you keep

talking it's just like it is lunging at you and like as your words come out of

your mouth it is like it's almost like it's grabbing them out of the air and absorbing them it is like every sound

mundane wire to crawling off and becoming uh yeah I can do that um like

they they break off and they Slither like a little snake at first and then they split in three and what this thing

is doing in game terms as it is spending six of its 17 chaos oh boy to

immediately create three wir Lings which are minor anomalies that serve it uh but

it can't do it without destroying a sound creating electronic device and some of the so the the printer Sparks

very quietly and some of the wires Slither out of it to join with these and now you have these three small wire

Lings with little zappy uh end points on them and they are threatening to get

close to all of you and electrocute you what are you all doing is there a clock down here oh is there a clock down here

um I would argue that if she's sleeping down here there has to be some form of alarm clock or something there is but it

um actually no here's what I'm going to say um no there is not a clock down here because she uses the the vibrating one

on her alarm but if you would like her to be one then you may ask the agency to alter reality such that there is a clock

daylight alarm clock sitting on the table next to the catch I'm going to look at it and say we've got time and

you get four threes uh it gains a little chaos but you gain your success and also you can so on a success you create the

someone had just dropped all the Flyers at once and all the Flyers are there's four different Flyers each one is a

different color and for a concert on different night of the week with the same idea that people can just come and

make noise uh okay so here's what happens when time kicks back in Roger threatens

the thing with his gun the you see the anomaly kind of back up Lisa starts

talking and then she is echoed doy is talking to it showing at the normal briefcase saying it's so soft and quiet

inside and then a stack of Flyers appear on the couch uh they land they make the

slightest noise as they land and it you see its head whip across and it kind of slithers over uh it is now going to

spend 16 chaos to do two things uh one it makes all the Flyers disappear it's

like a like one of its arms just like shoots across the room like Mr Fantastic made of ear bones and just you think

it's going to shred them and instead they just vanish and then with its other arm it does the same thing and lashes at

doy doy you are not in the basement anymore uh what happens is you are

suddenly this is probably more overwhelming because you guys have been standing in a silent room room you are

suddenly overwhelmed as you enter a weird dream world of cacophony imagine

uh that you it it looks a lot like the lro Cade but painted like an acid trip and inside you see like you see a number

of devices and also people plugged into the walls and you hear so many noises

like you suddenly have a headache because like you hear Louisa talking you

hear arcade noises ringing you hear traffic you hear the sound of a bartender tuning his sound system you

hear all the sound that it's absorbed in the last however many days exactly you hear the sound of a young man singing at

the top of his lungs while playing his favorite arcade game uh you hear metal banging on metal um and you see uh you

see people the people who are plugged in some of whom you recognize as people uh

that you've seen in Patty Corner uh who are in places where they have had their sound absorbed and you are momentarily

for now you are trapped in this dream world that the anomaly has strug has stuck you into also you see the Flyers

uh fall down to the ground in front of you and Scatter everywhere because it also rather than dealing with those sent

it off to the dream world uh what would everyone like to do can I do things

while I still have this echoing noise uh you can although speaking will be very

difficult h I will note that the noises you have been speak it seems almost like it's visibly strained to send two things

to the dream world at once uh in game terms this thing is running out of chaos and you get the feeling that what it

does is it spends the it spends chaos to absorb or otherwise displace sound and

you have a feeling that if you can run it out of chaos and keep making sound at it this might be the exhausted enough to

get it into the normal briefcase so what would you all like to do things you can do that trigger it to respond by

spinning chaos are a good idea so did you say there's a printer in the corner uh there is it is broken it is broken

now because some of the wiring and the plug left but yes there's a broken printer on a desk U there's also there's

a daylight clock there's a daylight clock but can the daylight clock make

noises uh I'm going to say yes it can because I know how mine works um it

doesn't by default but if you switch it most of them will have a mode where you can switch it to test the alarm or test

the uh uh signal if you're doing a radio yes you can force the daylight clock to make sound I would like to ask the

agency to have this clock malfunction and suddenly just release the loudest

alarm noise over and over okay uh okay so how what would cause it to do this I

would say uh maybe a power surge that has uh you know like messed up its

circuits and and just suddenly H has suddenly like activated the speaker and

it's just it's it's terribly broken but it's just making this shrieking alarm

it's not really professionalism might be presence you're making it stand down in a room but let's see no it's persistence

because you were trying to overwhelm it or trying to put pressure on or irritate it into action this is absolutely persistence so roll to ask the agency

comes to be chaos which good because that means it can spend it for things and the alarm clock starts making

basically um you basically see it go over it almost looks like it rips the alarm clock apart um what it is doing is

ones do uh these are uh entangling wirings or entangling wir Lings excuse

me and what they are going to do is they are going to reach out for uh who else down here Tad Cas and uh Roger and

attempt to encase them in wires uh what is everyone doing you've got you've got

uh wire is attempting to wrap you up and doy you are currently in a noise

soundscape from heck um I'm going to grab the noisiest object that I see in

there and then try to shortcut myself out of it okay uh let's see what is in

the dream world that you could grab uh the dream world is full of I'm sorry shortcut oh you're going to try to use a

that's the other way that's if you want to trap somebody never mind okay um yeah

uh so there don't seem to be any real people and in fact if you try to unplug one of the real people in the soundscape

they fall over um dead but it makes less sound now um and but with the lessening

of sound you can finally hear yourself just barely say I know a shortcut so uh

oh no um on a failure a shortcut leads somewhere very inconvenient said a

desired look persistent and visible to everyone on both ends um oh I think what

happens uh Terrence you are upstairs with K and I think what happens is the I

miss yeah um so I think what happens is the Dreamscape that D is in suddenly

connects to the wall of K's kitchen and it's like K's kitchen extends into this

weird soundscape and you can see in the very distance Dy wandering around in this weird garish arcade and there is

just sound barraging the two of you now um and as Enchanted as she was with the mocha pot K is so confused and alarmed

by her kitchen suddenly turning into a soundscape of what is going on she

[Music] says all almost instantaneous I just grab like a

handful of sugar off the GU um just right there uh that is four threes go to

sleep all right she goes to sleep uh and I'm assuming you want to add it for uh

an hour oh 100% she's going to be uh we're going to put her I'm going to put her on the couch and and uh looking at

this scene I have now realized that things are going very arai downstairs uh yeah there is a yeah you can see into an

extradimensional space where doy is trapped and just like clutching her ears and uh yeah K K's Kay's out though she's

going to get the best sleep for life now and I am going to book it downstairs

because this has the end okay uh basement people you see uh Terrence comes downstairs and sees a scene

whereas uh there are entangling wir Lings attempting to tangle up three of your teammates there are a couple

shocking ones trying to get close and zap people what uh what is anyone G to
