Patch 11.1.5 for World of Warcraft was just announced as coming out April 22, so that leads the podcast this week — even if it may seem fast to some of our hosts. Our writer Nick Marino joined us this week because he’s our go-to staffer for WoW Classic news, and Season of Discovery phase 8 kicked off today with a whole lot of brand new content. Seems a little weird, but as long as it’s fun.
Plus, despite it being April, the Diablo 4 team just put out a roadmap for 2025 which includes a ton of new content for the coming year, and a few sections just labelled “IP collabs.” Our hosts speculate that this may mean Master Chief makes an appearance, but after what we’re seeing from Fortnite, I’m hoping to get a Chappell Roan skin for my Sorceress.
Oh right, the Nintendo Switch 2 release date announcement happened too.

hello everybody and welcome to the Blizzard Watch podcast i'm Matt i'm your host i am not some kind of moldering
0:16
creature from beyond the the grave uh you just trust me you don't you don't need to see anything just trust me uh
0:23
with me this week is amazing special guest star Nick say hi to everybody hi
0:28
this is my second time on the last time I was on here was almost exactly a year ago to talk about the world within Alpha
0:34
so it's good to be back tell me more about the world within Alpha
0:39
uh with us also uh the people who are here way more often than I am at this point thanks to my collapsing moldering
0:45
form which isn't uh Joe Perez and Liz Harper uh you usually I say something
0:51
like say hi guys and you go hi guys or whatever this time I'm going to say reveal your souls to me i'm the
0:56
matchbook that you stick under the table to keep it from wobbling the empty abyss stares back hey it's me the abyss you
1:02
guys coming over later i I found out that the void has a blue sky account i got nothing where's that
1:09
did you jump i I can't hear either of you the the void has a blue sky account i learned that yesterday
1:14
everyone has a blue sky account it's the new It's the new trendy thing so uh why not why not the void but we are here to
1:22
talk about Blizzard Entertainment and its many games and maybe some other games when we get done with the Blizzard stuff um I know we've we've all played
1:29
other games but there's some other stuff happening like you know this Nintendo news and so forth uh let's just jump
1:36
right into it with something I found kind of interesting because I did not realize it was happening um 11.1.5 is
1:42
now going to be launching on April 22 for World of Warcraft i should have said World of Warcraft um this is patch
1:48
11.1.5 it's going to be launching on April 22nd which is uh it says here
1:53
exactly eight weeks i'm not qualified to judge that but exactly 8 weeks 11.1 I
1:59
pulled out a I pulled out a physical count calendar and I counted the number of weeks to be sure I was correct so it
2:06
is probably 8 weeks i could have miscounted but like 90% chance it's
2:12
eight weeks so and the thing about this patch um first off this there's a question here Liz put in that I want to
2:18
I want to relate because it's a good question how do you for the three of us the four of us here because I'm actually here um how do you guys feel about the
2:25
pacing on the patch on patches in general not just this patch but in patches for the war within how do you
2:30
guys feel like the pacing is going we'll go with Nick first this is the part where I reveal that the only two times
2:37
I've logged into retail the past two months is to do the trading post posts
2:42
because my time has been so screwed that when I have to choose between playing on
2:50
the classic anniversary servers or season of discovery in retail I go for classic that's cool uh Joe you're
2:57
probably going to answer something along those lines no the pacing's fine i'm still logging into Raid and like it's the one thing I can't keep up on
3:03
pacing's fine uh I think the tell is going to be the when we get to the end
3:09
of it and how long between the last patch and the next expansion um but
3:14
otherwise pacing is fine content release is fine i know some people are thinking it's too fast some people have have said
3:20
that it's not enough but they're giving us a lot of content in a pretty regular drip so no complaints you feel like
3:27
they're keeping up with the Dragonfly schedule to a degree uh maybe Dragon Flight felt I don't know i I don't know
3:35
it felt erratic compared to this this feels like it's pretty regular and scheduled like moving at a a pace so
3:43
less here's a bucket full of content splash and more like you know here you go you can drink out of this glass
3:49
there's some more over here when you're ready that's how you feel about it more ready yeah more or less okay uh I hate
3:54
the patch the uh pacing mostly because I don't have time to engage with it not
3:59
because I don't have Nick's problem i have the problem of I really want to play Diablo I all the time when I play
4:06
when I when I open the Blizzard launcher I drift to Diablo I like I I have to make myself go else places and when I'm
4:14
not going to Diablo 4 it drifts to Diablo II that's fair and that's I mean
4:19
people part of the problem is is that WoW is an incredibly social game and I've lost my social group through no
4:26
fault of theirs i just our schedules don't line up uh their their west coast
4:31
uh which is only an hour but it's it's amazing how everybody else wants to raid at what is 11:00 my time to start i'm
4:38
like no i'm sorry guys i I cannot start at 11 my time to to to be up until like
4:44
3:00 a.m doing this stuff i I can't i'm too old uh so in a weird sort of way and
4:51
it's not their fault again lovely people absolutely love that guilt weeping angels uh great guys but since I'm not
4:57
doing that anymore I just I'd rather go play a game where I don't feel like I'm missing out
5:04
does that make sense so So for me the patch schedule is like "Oh god now I didn't even get a chance
5:10
to do that other thing yet and now we're doing this and so forth." So now I'm going to turn to Liz for her opinion
5:16
before we actually talk about what's going to be coming in the patch and when um I do think the patch release schedule
5:22
feels a little fast but also I think Blizzard is
5:28
getting a little better at doing things out in bite-sized pieces
5:33
if you actually look at the content calendar for Dragonflight and compared it to the content calendar for The War
5:38
Within they're pretty similar in recent years Blizzard has been releasing a new
5:44
patch at eight weeks it's you get a major patch then you get a 0.5 patch then you get a 7 patch then you get a
5:51
major patch and they're about 2 months apart did I say weeks before they're 2 months apart it's pretty consistent but
5:58
uh it it feels like the size like the scope of each patch is more measured
6:05
maybe like each patch is a good chunk of content so 11.1 we got Undermine which
6:11
is a lot of content we got a couple new delves we got a new dungeon we got a new raid we got a new zone but the zone
6:18
isn't huge uh and it's kind of it's this focused area where you can do some content you can do some story you can
6:24
bang out the story and get some interesting new things going on in World of Warcraft you can do dailies if you
6:31
want or you can not i mean you can choose not to do everything you can do the story quest and be like "Okay yeah
6:37
I'm done that was fun or you can just go in and do delves all the time delves are a great new kind of content i think that
6:44
is very solo friendly and you can get really good gear out of it so I feel
6:49
like solo players have more options and that the the patches are a little more
6:55
balanced as to how much content they're adding if they added another undermine size patch it'd be like "Oh my god this
7:01
is way too fast." But 1115 has a lot of stuff it's a surprisingly big patch but
7:08
it's rolling out on a schedule so it has a bunch of events and I I'm just I'm
7:14
just going into this there are a bunch of this segue she grabbed it she's taking the segway
7:20
there are a bunch of events in this patch and on April 22nd Nightfall is going to launch which is an event in
7:27
Hallow where you're going to help the Arathi fight off the Narubians who are encroaching and kind of out of control
7:34
or more aggressive after the death of Queen Anzer last uh raid so that starts
7:41
on the 22nd there's going to be a new renown track you can get through there are lots of rewards you can do a quest
7:47
every week which will have gear rewards and their cosmetics and mounts to earn
7:52
on the renown track so one of the things that's good about this and all of the other events in this patch if you like
7:59
them go do them it's a way to get gear it's a way to just do something different but you don't have to if you
8:06
don't want to play in HelloFol you could just you could not and you could say "I
8:12
don't know i'm not into those cosmetics i don't feel like doing another event you could just not engage with it and
8:18
focus on what you are enjoying uh after that there's uh horrific visions
8:23
revisited which is kind of the same horrific visions we all did in Battle
8:29
for Azeroth you're going to go into an old godinfested version of Stormwind and Orgamore and fight your way through and
8:36
try to maintain your sanity along the way that is not launching until May 20th
8:41
so you have a month between these events so even if you want to do every event and collect every cosmetic you could do
8:47
Nightfall for a month and then you could go and focus on horrific visions now the third event is Dastardly Duos this is
8:55
the one I'm most excited for because it is basically a cage fight where you and
9:02
a party will go in and fight two robotic versions of bosses to work on getting
9:08
the highest possible score in this goblin arena and there are cosmetics and
9:15
other things to earn there it just sounds it sounds weird and fun that will be available from June 3rd to July 5th i
9:22
I think this is a really smart content schedule because there's a lot going on but it's not all happening at once and
9:29
you can do one thing then you move on to the next thing then move on to the next thing i think that's going to work
9:35
really great and by the time we get into Dastardly Duos we're due for another patch so this is probably going to
9:42
overlap with the next patch cycle which also I think one thing you didn't mention which is listed here uh is the
9:48
April 22nd to May 20th Winds of Mysterious Fortune which is a leveling event for XP and rep buffs it's not um
9:56
it's not an event the same way the others are an event it's just everyone's going to have uh this buff and I think
10:02
it it also seems like a really great time to jump into the game you can even if you haven't played this expansion you
10:09
can go and level your alts or your neglected main faster than you could have before you can catch up on
10:16
reputation because this is a 20% experience buff for everybody it's a
10:21
200% reputation buff for dragonfly reputations if you're leveling there and
10:27
it's a 100% reputation buff for war within reputations except for undermine
10:33
dra undermine goblin cartels you still have to do those the oldfashioned way but this is going to be a great time to
10:39
jump in and catch up if you've been out the entire expansion or if you've just not played this patch cycle this is
10:44
going to make it so much easier or you can just be you know one of those lunatics that is constantly leveling
10:51
alts this will help you do it faster plus it stops on the 20th which is around the time that Horrific Visions
10:57
Revisited comes in so new character and that would be a good time for it yeah if
11:02
you want to get a new character ready for the next patch cycle this is this is probably pretty perfect so I think
11:09
that's going to be a fun one another thing that'll happen during that event is that uh lower level characters I
11:16
believe under level 79 will have a chance to that's not very
11:22
low level will have a chance to get uh potions exper potions bonus experience
11:28
potions from mob drops or quests they will have a chance to get buff potions
11:33
that are just available for this event that might improve their stats so you can go and smash things faster uh so
11:40
yeah you're going to get more experience more gear more reputation yeah it's all good it's a great time to level it will
11:47
be a great time to level on April 22nd so if you're leveling something now just
11:53
maybe wait a couple weeks uh okay let's now we're going to move on to WoW Classic here um Nick is here and he
11:59
already mentioned it briefly uh Season of Discovery phase eight it starts as we're talking as we're recording this
12:04
it's it's currently out um so tell us about it Nick what are we g What are we looking at for phase 8 all right so yeah
12:11
as you said phase 8 went live earlier today um they're splitting like they've
12:16
done in the past uh the quest content uh in the open world uh drops today and in
12:23
2 days on April 10th at 1:00 p.m pacific time the raid the Scarlet Enclave raid
12:29
which is a brand new raid will drop um go live for everybody and yeah um can I
12:35
ask you to explain to people who don't know much about Seasons Discovery or Wild Classic why that's a big deal that
12:41
there's a brand new raid coming yeah so um well let me back up just a bit so
12:47
phase 8 focuses primarily around the uh Scarlet Crusade faction which has been
12:53
around since you know the original World of Warcraft u this is kind of like their
12:58
fleshing out period where you get mostly all the quest content um sur around
13:05
their faction um and as such most of everything that happens in phase 8 takes
13:12
place in the uh eastern plague lands and what this ties into why this is
13:18
important is because one of the things that Season of Discovery has done is
13:24
initially when it was announced in Blizzcon 2023 it was like "Oh cool."
13:30
Like this is a new way to play the game different um you'll be able to essentially use abilities from different
13:37
points in time of Wild's history from different inspe uh expansions or just from different classes so that you can
13:44
play as different classes right like a mage healer or you know rogue tank
13:49
whatever those were the two big ones that came out first and then slowly as time went on it became a what if we did
13:56
this in WoW classic taking experience from um the retail version of the game
14:04
so from that we got brand new dungeons in Demon Fall Canyon in phase 4 and then
14:14
not quite new uh but fully done or fully completed Karazan Crypts last expansion
14:22
or the expansion before that or the uh last phase or the phase before that um
14:27
and basically it has taken up like the points in which original WoW like either
14:33
had content or didn't have fully fleshed out content and then just like basically put it on steroids and through that
14:41
avenue given people new stuff to play it's like a alternate version of No
14:47
actually no I wouldn't say that it's not an alternate version of WoW's history but it's they've taken the gaps and have
14:53
just been like we never explained this back in the early 2000s so we're explaining this now and it's all just
15:00
going to fit um so for today what starts is what they call the open or outdoor
15:08
content and as such there's a new quest and new quest content for the Scholar
15:14
Crusade in Tears Hand which is a lower segment of the Eastern Plague Lands that was there in the um original version of
15:22
the game but taking they've basically taken the starting zone from the Death
15:28
Knight in Wrath of the Lich King and added that as like a full-time playable space so they've added the town of New
15:36
Avalon and that's basically going to be your main questing hub um in order to get there if you leveled a death knight
15:43
back in the day it's the place where you go and torture the civilians right uh torture murder i was going to say the
15:50
first thing that comes to mind is shooting the giant eyeball beams but yeah eventually we get there um but yeah
15:57
this place is notoriously not on fire um at least this time around but part of
16:03
the part of the content cycle for uh phase 8 is that you have to create
16:08
Scarlet Crusade disguises basically you have to wear a uniform and if you don't
16:13
the people will jump you like the if you're not wearing enough pieces of the uniform uh the town's people which are
16:21
elite NPCs will gang up on you and let me tell you from experience playing on the PTR those hands work uh but when you
16:30
do get all these disguises they drop or these disguises essentially drop from
16:35
other crusader enemies like the ones with actual weapons that are walking around in Tier's hand um and some pieces
16:42
will also drop from the raid but one of the points of uh emphasis for why you
16:48
want to disguise yourself and go into New Avalon is because there's new items
16:54
uh that you can buy from new vendors i think there's like a new max slot bag
17:00
and quiver you can get from just one of the vendors but also new profession items um that you can use during the
17:07
game for season of discovery only and then yeah the uh raid for uh the raid in
17:14
that drops on the 10th is a 20 person eight boss raid uh and there is a
17:22
legendary weapon quest line attached to it i don't know if this counts as spoilers i think everyone knows what
17:28
what weapon it is i won't say it though uh unless I Would you say that it takes
17:33
dust preferably from things that have been burned and and brings that dust around does that sound possible yeah
17:41
with no insignificant amount of light and all that good stuff attached to it
17:47
okay yeah yeah it's it's basically dusting and and brightening up the place understandable yeah but only only
17:53
warriors hunters and paladins oop sorry go ahead no that's fine i just I like the fact it's warriors hunters and
17:59
paladins goes back to like so many arguments no yeah so that's um and part of why
18:07
phase 8 in and of itself is so I wouldn't say unique but important is
18:13
because and I know uh Liz talked about this a couple weeks ago but like the way phase 8 was announced was through a
18:20
YouTube comment or YouTube yeah YouTube comment on a on a video and like I remember sending her it and I could I
18:27
could see from thousands of miles away the question marks pop up over her head
18:32
cuz that's what my reaction was but one of accurate very accurate but it was um
18:39
basically uh Josh Greenfield aka Agran one of the senior game developers for the game had said like while Season of
18:45
Discovery had a end date in mind for quote content they walked that back
18:51
brought new content and kind of like up in the air where Season of Discovery
18:57
goes from now because by their his own admission the team has a lot of ideas of
19:02
things that they want to do and like with what we've seen and going back to your original question earlier Matt like
19:08
or point Matt of like why this is so important is they've taken the time to really flesh these things out so it's
19:16
really more about um how much longer they want to keep it up in order to
19:21
bring people new content and I know that there's probably no shortage of things that people one want to see um there's
19:30
years worth I'm sure of things like why doesn't Blues do this i want to see this blah blah blah but now it's it's up in
19:38
the air of what's going to come next but it's having played from the beginning it
19:44
has just been so fun the entire mode i have never made this many alts in my
19:49
life and I play all of them i know that Joe and I used to talk a lot about how we would love if Wild Classic did
19:56
something like a Dragon Isles uh patch or whatever and this is the first time i mean Joe you could probably speak to it
20:02
more than I I could at the moment because you could probably talk more than I can um but this is the first time
20:08
that they've actually really done the thing that a lot of people who are into the lore wanted them to do is to to do
20:14
new lore in WoW classic um does do you what what do you think they're going to do if if if they do another thing like
20:22
this what do you think it's going to be Joe the problem is is I don't know because it can be literally anything uh
20:29
but what would you like it to be is really what I'm getting at here cuz you know Yeah I I know what I want i haven't
20:35
really given a whole lot of thought i'll be honest so like I mean if you want to tell me what you had planned or what you think go for it man well the problem is
20:41
that I'm going to be squeaking like a frog the whole time i just like honestly I would love love love love
20:48
love for them to do more like go back to to you know Outland and do more stuff
20:57
with like places near Outland like imagine you could do an entire zone that's just an island tethered to
21:03
Outland by a few broken chains yeah they can call it Cora yeah they could but but
21:10
I mean they could like literally in in the original um Birdie Crusade you used
21:15
to have to fly out to these islands that had the dark portal still on them remember those you'd have to fly out
21:21
there and kill some demons in order to stop things from happening and it was part of a quest involving Illodon's
21:27
people back in uh yeah uh Shadowoo Valley you could absolutely just take
21:33
one of those islands and just make it be the the the ogre place remember the the
21:38
uh ogre raid from now that we've been to Dranor and we've seen what the continent
21:43
looked like before it got blowed up there's stuff you could have remnants of of the Ogrron you know empire you know
21:51
all sorts of things you could do more with the uh the you know the bird people
21:56
sorry I'm having a really hard time talking uh you could just do a lot more and I would really love to see that in
22:02
like a uh Seasons of Discovery Burning Crusade Edition be one of the things I think it'd be really cool you could put
22:08
a guy in Outland who is actually involved in Ashbrer in some way if you
22:14
all remember a lot of in-game a lot of speculation about you know you were
22:19
gonna find the the new uh Ashbrer son you know Darien basically Darian Mograin
22:25
uh you were going to find him out in Outland and he wasn't there uh so yeah I just I I really would like to see them
22:32
pick up stuff like that one of the things I do want to add to that's kind of different about this phase at least
22:39
as it relates to the raid is that there's no attunement quest once it's open it's open and there's no One of the
22:46
things too that Season of Discovery has done for some of the previous raids um Blackwing Lair Encourage Knax Ramis uh
22:54
hard mode difficult hard mode difficulty where you can optionally toggle crazy
23:00
wacky effects and mechanics that the enemies will do scarlet Enclave does not have that the one of the developer notes
23:07
is that because it's an all new raid they didn't play being Blizzard didn't
23:12
want to essentially risk overtuning it uh and start running before they walk um
23:19
the raid like we always hear about with this the raid is intended to be difficult right but with Wild Classic
23:25
what we all kind of gotten used to is that because these raids have been around so long classic guilds have had
23:31
time to prepare and like nuke every single boss in 30 or 40 minutes uh
23:37
finish in clearhole raids in a matter of hours this may not be like that i would
23:43
say that with how Karazen Crips went there is going to be a little bit of a learning curve people still eventually
23:49
figured it out fairly quickly but that's also one of the things that has um stood
23:54
out at least about this raid is that once it's open it's open you can go and
23:59
enter at your own peril that is an interesting point because you know that has been something that's been going on throughout Wild Classic is there's only
24:06
so much you can do to make you know Blackwing Lair harder for people because people have been you know it's it's 20
24:12
years old people know what's in there they they've even if you start adding uh stuff to each boss fight they were still
24:18
kept they were still coped with relative relatively quickly so yeah that is interesting uh but that's so that's like
24:24
two days from now as of recording April 10th so yeah by the time you hear this it will be open and people will already
24:30
raided it so either it will have already been like surprisingly difficult or it'll already been zurged down and
24:35
everyone will be like "Okay I guess that's what happened." So yeah uh now to
24:40
talk about Diablo I they put out a road map for Diablo 4 um they've they've literally never done this for any Diablo
24:47
game no but road maps only really started at Blizzard uh back I want to say at like 2023 2022 it's been a few
24:55
years but not too long but now they've become very common in Warcraft we get
25:00
one for retail World of Warcraft we get one for classic and this year we also got one for Hearthstone i was going to
25:06
say do they do Hearthstone too yeah yeah they don't usually This was a first year for a Hearthstone road map as well at
25:12
least a detailed one like this and um Diablo is jumping in on the game the
25:19
interesting thing about this road map is it it's it's a 2025 road map released in
25:26
April so Diablo releases content on a quarterly schedule the first content
25:33
patch has already happened the second content patch has been announced it's come and gone from the PTR we have full
25:40
patch notes for it so both of those things are on the road map and then there are two more patches so uh the
25:48
season 9 and 10 patches are also on here it doesn't feel like there are a lot of
25:53
surprises on here it's like we got Diablo I and it's going to stick to its schedule that it's really established at
26:01
this point which is you get a season every quarter this season gives you new powers to collect and a new reputation
26:06
to grind each season will have a new pet to collect and they have listed two new
26:14
IP collabs in here which we're we're going to see what those are like are we
26:19
going to be is this we're going to be like Master Chief in Diablo I i don't
26:24
know but I mean it it does seem likely that at some point they're going to do what they did with the Warcraft thing
26:30
where they'll have armor and weapons you can buy like you said Master Chief and immediately I started thinking about
26:36
like you know you're going to have this like armor that looks like this big green face plate not you know covering
26:41
everything armor and then you'll have like a stylized version of the plasma blade um that those seem like like
26:48
relatively that that's one that kind of rents itself uh that is exactly the kind of things these new IP clubs but then
26:55
again it occurs to me that they also own Doom they own a lot of games microsoft Doom Dark Ages yeah and Doom: The Dark
27:02
Ages is like is either out or going to be out soon right not out yet it's coming out yeah i mean I've seen reviews
27:08
for it so I know that it's in the it's it's close i just seems like the kind of thing April to July uh Biles trying to
27:15
be a good time to do a Doom: The Dark Ages collab not saying they are
27:20
but they do have a new IP collab marked for this season and they have not announced it so I mean we don't know it
27:28
could be it could be Starcraft we don't know it could be any game in Microsoft's roster but uh the Diablo team has talked
27:35
about how they want something that has the dark vibe that fits Sanctuary but
27:40
they did that pretty well with Warcraft with all of those Warcraft looks that they gave of course uh those those are
27:47
some pretty pricey pricey skins which Oh yeah they are very expensive i I'm not
27:54
super enthusiastic about the price tag but they're they're cool to see not for
27:59
me but cool yeah uh it's also interesting that they also have permanent editions at the bottom uh
28:04
which tells you stuff that's coming that's seasonal is up top and then the stuff that's coming but is not going to
28:10
go away i think it's cool that Balile um I can't read that nice name after uh
28:17
Balilevar and the Harbinger of Hatred all of those are coming to the boss
28:24
letter permanently in season 8 which is really nice um I I you know season
28:30
journey update I'm not sure what that means in terms of I they have not clarified but it's you know it's coming
28:38
permanently whatever it is uh so yeah I think you're right about the terms of this like getting a road map for 19 like
28:43
2025 1995 oh my god ah y'all doesn't even exist ah um
28:50
but getting a road map for the year that comes in in April and like that's four
28:56
months that you didn't tell us anything about guys like oh back there okay yeah that is what happened okay um literally
29:04
literally half of this road map is things that are either live in game right now or things that have already
29:10
been announced that's half half of the road map so that's a substantial
29:16
percentage of this road map is not really looking into the future it is
29:21
looking into the past or in the present it's like looking around hey here's that
29:26
thing here's that thing i predict this yeah you're right here he is um but still I think it is cool that they even
29:33
have a road map i mean it does list seasonal themes for the two seasons following season 8 in season 8 we get
29:40
Bile coming back we're going to earn new boss powers in the season that we can
29:45
destroy things with i think that looks really fun uh season 9 is Sins of the
29:51
Herodum which they have a few where you will be collecting Herodric powers you
29:57
see a theme here there's a theme here and uh they're also going to be doing some new activities and nightmare
30:03
dungeons that are kind of maybe focus players on doing more of those they do kind of become sy after a while so we'll
30:09
see what that is and season uh 10 season 10 I had to do a count infernal chaos
30:16
where you will collect chaos powers and uh they'll be updating infernal hordes
30:22
so I expect some sort of theming around the infernal hordes and this is another one of the IP collabs i mean so it just
30:31
it really feels like it's it's a road map but it's a road map that confirms that we are on the road that we're on
30:38
we're on the road that we're on yeah exactly and every season we're going to get new powers that we can collect and
30:45
have a new reputation to grind and it's like okay well this these sound kind of
30:51
the same that's fine I guess but it's this does not excite me like a Warcraft
30:57
road map does because a Warcraft road map it's always like "Oh what's this what's this going to be how exciting
31:03
what's this icon with a house on it oh my god." Yeah the reason I think for me
31:08
the reason that this isn't necessarily so exciting to to go along with what you're saying is that this stuff's all
31:14
fleeting yeah that's true like when Warcraft tells you "Oh we're going to have Undermine." Undermine isn't leaving
31:20
undermine isn't just limited to making a new character so you can experience undermine i feel like the decision to
31:26
make Diablo I more multiplayer has kind of led it to bleed into what it
31:32
is in a way that makes it feel really strange like Go ahead it It's a game
31:38
that can't really decide is it a single player RPG or is it an MMO it's it's and
31:45
even is it an MMO or is it a a seasonal single player game like Diablo II i
31:51
Diablo III is not se single player exactly but it's a small group uh
31:57
non-persistent world nonshared world whereas Diablo I is a persistent shared
32:03
world um yeah it feels like what almost is needed is to get like an old
32:08
Neverwinter Nights server and and like have a DM making stuff for people like
32:14
honestly it it it feels like it wants to be that but doesn't really know how and also all of these all these to loving it
32:21
yeah all of these seasonal patches are they aren't going to have big stories or at least historically the seasonal
32:27
patches do not come with significant story beats and when you say Infernal Hordes updated that even brings that
32:33
energy even more because whenever they do an update like that they do even less story-wise like you complaining that and
32:40
then okay whatever yeah so it's like okay we have all of these uh new powers to collect and then
32:47
they're going to be gone you know World of Warcraft had that big problem with in with uh Borrowed Power where you know it
32:54
felt like the game was in a treadmill every two years we're getting a new expansion where we collect a we collect
33:01
a mcguffin that's super powerful and we're going to spend the next two years powering it up and then at the end it's
33:07
going to be it's going to we're going to lose it we're going to drop it down a mine we're going to give it away you know and then we're going to go into the
33:13
next expansion it's gonna become the major villain a few expansions down the road yeah but it's like we go into the
33:19
next expansion and suddenly we are less powerful and we're starting over with a new mcguffin that we are going to power
33:27
up and then lose so and that was frustrating enough that Blizzard changed
33:32
direction they've stopped doing that in World of Warcraft this at least not to the extent they were but Diablo III and
33:40
Diablo I 4 are both based on this seasonal system where every season you
33:45
earn something new and exciting to play with and it's around for the season and then it's gone and then you do it again and again and again and again so it
33:54
works for Diablo II in a way it doesn't work in Diablo 4 though i think it's because Diablo II it's not trying to be
34:00
an MMO and it's not trying to be a single player RPG either diablo II knows
34:05
what it is it's a Diablo game it's an ARPG it's small groupoup content and it
34:10
is all about the gear grind and that's it that's it it can be it's focused this
34:16
Diablo I is trying to be a lot of things to a lot of people and sometimes that uh intersection feels very strange i would
34:23
agree uh but nevertheless it is I'm happy that they're doing it because I'm hopeful that by doing it they'll start
34:29
to be able to hone in on what they really want to be doing and what they want to tell people about um but
34:35
regardless Oh go ahead say it also does suggest that there is in fact a plan and
34:40
that they aren't cleaning from player feedback to player feedback they do have
34:46
there's a plan in in action here so I would like nothing else go ahead go ahead it would have been nice if they
34:52
had included like okay what's the next quarter's patch because we're already in the first patch of the year which is on
34:59
this road map it would have been nice if they'd if they'd stretched this out for 12 months of changes in Diablo but they
35:06
didn't it just goes through the end of 2020 and then there's like a little in 2026 stuff you already knew and the the
35:14
the end of the road map is literally on fire it says new expansion and it's
35:20
surrounded by fire so this is fine the expansion no I was just saying Liz it's Sanctuary
35:26
it's always on fire yeah that's fair that's this this world is on fire
35:33
sorry it's on fire or it's being invaded by demons or it's covered in skulls or there's a rain of blood coming down it's
35:40
all fire all of them at once a fire is easier to represent than a rain of blood
35:45
on a still image yeah and and less gross really yeah yeah but we also should talk
35:51
really briefly at least i I want to make sure we do mention this um we got another look at the uh what the EU is
35:58
have for guidelines for microtransactions uh Nick you wrote this so I'd like you to explain it yeah so
36:04
this is like in my wheelhouse uh for what I do dayto-day um so I found this
36:10
incredibly interesting and I tried to look at it as like a nonbiased way as possible but I
36:18
just have to warn everyone it's going to come out because I hate microtransactions with a burning passion
36:24
especially when they're so cool um but go ahead Liz they're extremely easy to
36:30
hate so for I know that you guys talked about this um either on the last show or the
36:37
one before that but essentially what this is is the European Union's Consumer
36:43
Protection Cooperation Network which is basically a I'm going to use the word
36:49
international in the sense that it's all different European Union countries have
36:56
essentially delegated agencies to look out for the best interests of the consumer by enforcing uh consumer
37:04
protection laws against companies and one of the companies that they found in
37:11
violation of essentially predatory um microtransactions via in-game store and
37:17
purchases was um star stable online um
37:24
specifically as it relates to kids um basically it's you're leveraging using
37:31
different tactics to mask the true monetary costs of things in the game to pressure kids to buy things and as we
37:38
know kids don't have money they have money through their parents or guardians or caretakers so it's ultimately them
37:44
who's paying um in the fine print of this they did two things they released a
37:50
set of guidelines for all companies to follow that essentially gives uh best
37:56
practices of how to look out for the uh consumer in who may be purchasing things
38:04
via online game store without taking advantage of them one but the second part was that they gave Star Stable
38:11
Online a month to respond in writing how they're going to fix their in-game store
38:19
and I think before when this news broke that was you know kind of on the back
38:26
end of it or one of the things that uh didn't wasn't picked up on immediately
38:32
it actually I didn't pick up on it the first time I read it had to read it a second time and that's when it really
38:37
stood out to me because the big thing here is here are guidelines to try and protect people against like predatory
38:43
microtransaction schemes right which is things like utilizing things like FOMO limited time offers buy this it may
38:50
never come again you don't know when it's going to come again so you got to buy it right here right now bye bye bye um but then also things like you buy
38:58
this thing using a online currency that you have to trade in for a separate
39:03
online currency and then it converts but it doesn't convert exactly so you got to spend a little more to get the exact
39:09
currency that you want man listening to myself go geez I love this
39:16
uh yeah that's one of the things that really sticks out too because it's like I mean we we've we've all seen it if
39:23
you've played Diablo I know get this get this much platinum but you need this much platinum so you have to get more
39:30
because we don't sell it in in these denominations so you're like ah I've got like not quite enough to buy anything so
39:37
now I have to buy a little bit more now I've got slightly too much and now I'm going to either like look forever at
39:42
that 100 platinum or I'm going to buy more platinum yeah it's it is one of the things that is really annoying about the
39:48
way they do this uh currencies thing with microtransactions and as it stands
39:54
so this uh this initial uh complaint and this they're calling it an enforcement
40:00
and what the enforcement is is they're saying tell us how you're going to fix this game in writing 1 month from now go
40:07
that was mid-March March 21 March 22 so in the next 2 weeks or so they're go
40:14
StarSt Stable is going to have to send the CPC their plan of action on how
40:20
they're going to quote make the game more consumer friendly and they kind of codify it a little bit by saying don't
40:28
take advantage of kids and their vulnerabilities which is yes it is an aspect of whom microtransactions target
40:35
but part of that is when I read through the like fine fine fine print like legal
40:43
jargon of it they also this thing about vulnerable people right to whom
40:50
microtransactions who to whom may be extremely susceptible to microtransactions and as we know like uh
40:57
am I going to uh we we know what microtransactions are they're basically like online gambling right but without
41:03
gambling um when it comes to something like loot boxes or bundles or whatever
41:09
um but the interesting part is the C we don't know what the CPC1 what their
41:16
threshold of acceptability is when I say that I mean what is an acceptable remedy
41:21
action to them are they what are they looking for are they looking for it to be following their own guidelines to the
41:28
tea this is going to be a defining point for how they essent essentially enforce actions potentially on other um
41:35
companies that they find to be in violation we're also going to see a the battle lines drawn out of what lawyers
41:42
are for companies are going to push back on define this well the letter of this
41:48
sentence doesn't match the spirit of what you're trying to say so we're going to do this until you explicitly say no
41:54
we can't which is inevitably going to happen and then finally the punitive structure which is we're about to we
42:01
need to see what type of teeth that this thing has uh I tried to look and do some research on the different types of um
42:10
penalties the CPC has successfully leveraged against different companies in the past and the most concrete one that
42:17
I could find was they're allowed to find up to 4% of a company's turnover for no
42:25
more than a period of 5 years but also one of the things that stood out to me was some of the companies that they said
42:31
"Hey fix your site to be more consumer friendly." The companies kind of just did that and these aren't like small
42:38
companies these are companies like one of them was Meta one of them was Booking.com like stuff that you would
42:44
put in a Google search and would be front page results so that lets me know that I hadn't dug deep enough yet to
42:51
find like the oh they've got real power they made an example out of somebody
42:56
previously um exam so this whole thing
43:01
is so incredibly interesting to me why so you're basically saying it's a trial balloon it's a what this is a trial
43:07
balloon this is they're sending this to this company as a demonstration of what they can get them to do but also to find
43:13
out like where the lines are the company isn't being told what to do they're being told to tell them what they're
43:20
going to do essentially yes um and within their own guidelines they're quite clear about what it is and I won't
43:26
rehash it because Liz I think you guys already went over them yeah we went over the basics yeah uh but the core of it is
43:34
to at all times basically you just got to tell people what this costs in real world money no ifands or buts one people
43:41
need to know exactly what they're buying those are the two like prevalent things that matched up at all times so we're
43:48
about to find out and I think once once this response comes in and how the CPC
43:54
responds to that response we're about to see the shift that people were were um
44:01
musing on when this first dropped sitting here nodding very sagaciously and it's great a podcast cuz everyone
44:07
can see it um but no that is really something i mean we it it isn't necessarily super important what happens
44:14
with the particular game in question but the effect it'll have on other people is is pretty interesting uh however now
44:21
we're going to talk about something else because a Wild Gates uh play test is as of it's in two days recording yeah yeah
44:29
it's this it's over the weekend i've actually been I've folk is out and I've wanted to talk about it so bad but uh uh
44:36
it comes out later this month yeah but you play 23rd i I've played some of it
44:41
because they have a uh it's on a streamer that they have regardless fun game but we don't have time
44:47
uh for the Wildgate uh community preview play test they have a website where you
44:53
can sign up and if you don't get in there they're going to be doing streams we're we're pretty sure they'll be doing
44:58
streams i mean come on someone's going to be streaming this while they're testing i'm sure last week there was a
45:03
Twitch rival showdown uh I didn't see it uh but it's on YouTube now and that's
45:08
three hours of live gameplay to watch which I mean I'm I'm trying to do while doing the podcast so that's fun um um
45:16
look up uh play Wildgate on YouTube and you can see that uh showdown which is just it's it's a lot of people playing
45:24
Wild Gate unsurprisingly i'll say this for what little I've been able to watch Joe you were spot on which part all of
45:30
it when you were talking about the game it resembled um and unfortunately I'm blanking on that game but uh Wildstar
45:38
meets Sea of Thieves meets The Division yeah I mean you could even say there's a little Rocket League in there but yeah
45:45
it it's a little a tiny piece but it but you know Rocket League was fun um
45:50
regardless it does the the the Division in particular you can really feel the Extraction yeah cuz it it had very big
45:57
Extraction Shooter vibes which not a bad thing to be honest this looks fun from what little I've been able to watch of
46:03
this 3 hours uh you know I'm sitting there going "Oh man I can't afford to get into another game right now." That's
46:09
That's the hard part so many games i need time i feel like I feel like what's going to happen is the world's going to
46:15
end i'm going to have time to like do this because I'm not going to have to go to work anymore but all the games are always online so you can't play yeah
46:20
exactly and then it's going to be that scene from the Twilight Zone where I'm just going to fall to my knees at like
46:26
at this crumbling like church or or library behind me there was time now
46:33
like that's going to be exactly what happened yeah going to you're going to in the post-apocalypse is going to be like you know it's not going to be all
46:39
about who's got the most food or water it's going to be who can build themselves a stable enough server to p
46:45
to basically you know make their own version of a server oh that's already that's already my apocalypse plan man me
46:51
and my friends cuz I I'm friends with a bunch of like very high tech neat like nerds that also happen to be you know
46:59
archaic weapon enthusiasts and archaic skill enthusiasts we're
47:04
good well keep me in mind i grew up on a farm and I know how to do butchering um
47:10
Nintendo Switch has got some stuff here uh more info sourced from the uh Switch
47:15
2 Direct that was uh we talked about the Direct itself last week that basically there's now a blog for Yeah go ahead
47:22
there was there was a Nintendo Direct and then after that there was a Switch 2
47:28
Direct that was just about the Switch 2 coming out so what we now know is the console itself is going for about
47:36
$450 uh $500 for the console plus Mario Kart World um which is actually a pretty
47:42
decent deal because World is right we should specify that a lot of this is in the air right now so I don't think it is
47:50
I don't think we I don't think we should Go ahead uh so the console release date release date is June the 5th pre-orders
47:56
for the console were supposed to start this week but due to tariffs Nintendo
48:01
has delayed pre-orders and this may impact pricing so they announced $450
48:09
for the console $500 for the bundle we do not know if those are going to be the final price we do not know when we will
48:15
know the this answer and we don't know when pre-orders will actually be both uh
48:21
the United States and Canada have no pre-orders right now yeah it's not just the United States there both of us both
48:28
of us are in trouble so if you want to switch stay tuned because pre-orders are
48:34
going to come sometime which is a shame because like this is one of the the most hyped things that has happened in a
48:40
while in gaming and like from a techspec perspective cuz I'm going to talk i've been real quiet so you y'all get both oh
48:48
I can drink more from a techspec perspective this is better than a Steam Deck has 4K resolution through the dock
48:55
uh to whatever it hooks up to on the It's bigger it has a better well an on par battery it pulls uh the same or more
49:03
power than a Steam Deck uh and like all of its tech specs put it better than and
49:08
Steam Decks are are 350 to 400 I think in in that range it's been a while since I've looked at them um and this coming
49:14
in at 450 to 500 if we get that price uh is right on par with like a next
49:20
generation leap in it uh the fact that the JoyCons are bigger which is
49:25
absolutely fantastic uh the hidden the the feature that I didn't think I was going to want which is something that
49:31
they put in here which I think is really really cool uh and has always been my complaint about games that utilize
49:37
motion controls is that I would always just rather use a mouse it's way more precise for me and in this particular
49:44
case you can the Joy-Cons detach and are actually uh being they can be used as
49:51
optical mice um this and and the thing that got me about this and I want before
49:56
I talk about the the the showcase titles developers have already gotten their hands on this and the ones that have
50:02
already started developing for this platform have said this is the easiest
50:08
console platform that they have ever had the the joy of developing for because
50:13
it's basically a computer nintendo did exactly what everybody else should have been doing from the beginning and I said
50:20
this when the Switch came out cuz the original Switch was basically built off the old Nvidia Shield platform same chip
50:26
same everything this is doing that with just looking at it like everybody just wants a PC that they can carry with them
50:33
nintendo's just like "Cool let's just basically make this." It's going to be probably not very long after this
50:39
release before it gets uh probably jailbroken and people load Windows or some other operating system on it uh but
50:46
some of the titles they show they showed off was the Mario Kart World which is an open world Mario Kart uh of course
50:53
something everybody's been looking for um there's uh a Gamecube Retro Pack that's being released with like Pokemon
50:59
XD Luigi's Mansion Chibi Robot and a Gamecube controller uh which is really
51:05
good because you always love to see that uh you're getting Elden Ring on the Switch which yeah let's go buddy
51:13
uh Delta Runes chapters 1 through 4 Hades 2 Silk Song was uh showcased
51:19
slightly something we've it's one of the most anticipated games of all time and we've heard absolutely nothing from Team
51:25
Cherry in a while and then here they are uh Civ 7 Cyberpunk 2077 which does run
51:31
wonderfully on the Steam Deck i I want to point out uh Hitman World of
51:37
Assassination Professor Leighton uh Tony Hawk 3 and 4 Street Fighter 6 which is absolutely great split fiction which
51:43
people have been really really enjoying uh and then they finished it with showing off a brand new 3D Donkey Kong
51:50
game the last time they had a game a 3D Donkey Kong game that was like this hyped was Donkey Kong 64 like I remember
51:57
going out of my way to not only buy it because it was a banana yellow cartridge on a jungle green Nintendo 64 with a
52:04
jungle green Nintendo controller but like 3D Donkey Kong games turns out they're fun 3d platforming games turns
52:12
out they're fun uh and almost assuredly we'll probably wind up getting an announcement uh of a new 3D Mario game
52:19
sometime relatively soon uh as well as probably some uh Zelda uh item at some
52:24
point or another it's really really cool uh and also they released a guide for
52:30
backwards compatibility or incompatibility um almost all of the OG
52:35
Switch games uh are going to be just fine the ones that aren't are going to be ones that rely on like the Labo
52:42
ecosystem or some of the other niche products oh and by the way like they
52:47
have voice chat now built into their their platform something that people have been begging for that you had to use a third party app for before which
52:53
is that's great uh there's also a screen sharing add-on uh and a webcam but not
52:59
just a regular webcam the regular webcam looks like it's probably done by like Logitech or something like that there's a piranha plant a piranha petshaped
53:06
webcam that has already been spoiled like and it's cheaper than the regular webcam guess which one I'm buying if I
53:12
get the opportunity to actually purchase this like everything about this is super hype in like all the right ways they're
53:20
not making outlandish promises um but they are doing everything right and the
53:25
very other the last interesting thing and and I forgot to mention this with the titles that were showcased not only is Elden Ring gonna be on here From
53:32
Software is doing a game called Dusk Blood it looks almost exactly like
53:38
Bloodborne 2 a game that everybody has been begging for years for from software
53:45
to make uh I'm not saying that it is Bloodborne 2 because they're going to say it's probably not legally distinct
53:51
blah blah blah but it looks like Bloodborne 2 and I'm here for it right in right into my veins and it's going to
53:57
be a it's going to be a Switch 2 exclusive looks like or at least a timed exclusual successor if nothing else yeah
54:04
it's it's it's everything except for the name like the aesthetics the combat that they they showed in the preview in the videos looks exactly the same like yeah
54:11
it's it's it's there i someone playing Bioshock and it's going system shock wink yeah exactly that's exactly what it
54:18
is so we're hoping that we're going to learn more in the coming weeks i'm sure that they're waiting to see how uh
54:25
tariffs shake out with specifically from Japan as well as China because there are
54:30
some components that are made in those countries that are traded between them and how that's going to affect things um
54:36
and I think it's ambitious to keep the release date on June 5th uh we're going
54:41
to see if that holds uh because they're going to have to do something for pre-orders at some point otherwise it's
54:47
going to turn into absolute bedum uh when this thing releases i think people are going to be so hungry for a happy
54:52
win uh that you're basically going to have rioting in the streets if people can't get this it's going to be worse than the PS5 if they can't get their
54:58
hands on but that said I'm all in as long as I can get it i'm going to be a happy camper like this is what I want
55:05
this is and like I'm been a huge proponent of portable handhelds for a while like I when Phil was on last we
55:12
talked about playing Monster Hunter uh on the the PlayStation Portal which I absolutely adore as a uh an extension of
55:19
my PS5 and being able to play it anywhere I have Wi-Fi is fantastic um having no latency in that is great but
55:26
then having this and having games like Dusk Blood and you know Mario Kart World
55:32
or the entirety of Cyberpunk 2077 at my at my fingertips on a handheld device
55:38
that I can then plug in back home and have 4K gaming experience on uh with my nice TV makes me really really happy and
55:46
I had already considered getting a Steam Deck this announcement basically said "Hold up wait a minute you already have
55:54
other things that do similar stuff why not just wait and get this instead so I don't know how you guys feel about it
55:59
i've rambled for about 15 minutes so I'm going to stop talking now take a drink of water and kick it over to Liz yeah
56:06
it's your turn everything you said that's that's all I got no sight news oh
56:12
site news okay i'm not I'm not talking about Nintendo cuz Well I mean Nick can give his Go ahead
56:18
the whole so I barely paid attention to the Switch as like as it was being
56:23
announced i caught up on everything after the fact and I got so incredibly
56:29
stoked on it specifically the Gamecube retro pack because the Gamecube was one
56:36
of the most fun had some of the most fun games like I remember playing on my childhood like we got Wind Waker there's
56:42
Luigi's Mansion there's Melee there's all these awesome titles and then the
56:47
tariff news came and then the pre-order pause and I was just
56:53
like I just want it i want it cuz I want to play it but we just got to wait and I
56:58
got to ask you guys a question then so far nothing you've said has actually
57:04
gotten me to the point of trying to figure out what organ to sell to get the money to buy this but one thing could so
57:10
I turn to both Nick and Joe hoping one of you knows this is Godzilla destroy
57:16
all Monsters Melee in the Gamecube part they have not announced it yet but it is
57:22
a very popular request so I would not be surprised the one that was a huge opportunity if they do not include it
57:29
the one the one game that I need to be in this collection that I hope they can get the rights for is Beautiful Joe 2 i
57:36
can find Beautiful Joe one on the on the Game View i have it i have the physical copy i can plug it in and play it i
57:42
cannot get my hands on Beautiful Joe 2 for less than multiple hundreds of
57:48
dollars and it bothers me cuz I lost that game in an apartment fire in the early 2000s and I want that game so yeah
57:57
they need to have that in there i I just needed to be Godzilla destroy Monsters
58:02
Melee because I lost that game when I lost access to my Gamecube when the
58:07
person who had the Gamecube and I stopped being in a relationship and I'm
58:12
looking directly at a non-existent camera right now the non-existent camera is zooming in so so Nintendo can see my
58:19
eyes if you give this to me I will destroy nations for you as Godzilla
58:25
because that's what he does playing the sad adoption music right now yes if if this were a video podcast
58:33
totally totally different show just Yeah just the zooming in part no one wants to
58:39
see that but regardless now I'm going to say to Liz please do this site news for

1:02:38
much i really appreciate you guys thank you Liz uh we're about ready to close up
1:02:43
but as much as we are a little bit over time I am going to do this because I think we've got at least one question we
1:02:49
can answer really fast this one's for Meth and it is I asked a serious question a bit ago about player housing
1:02:56
now for a silly what in-game thing do you want in your home because it's silly
1:03:01
crazy or downright face palming to have i would say the slide into the casino would be nice or a hot tub uh okay joe I
1:03:11
want a crocol board okay Nick all right Joe you keep keep going so I can think
1:03:17
of an answer well I was just going to say if you don't know don't know what crocol is you can you can look it up
1:03:22
online it is nothing dirty okay Nick seems to be working liz do you
1:03:27
have anything um yeah h I I would like some of those flamingos i I've noticed
1:03:33
that goblins have a lot of like lawn flamingos and other lawn ornaments kind of hanging out i would like to have a
1:03:41
yard that's bedazzled in flamingos and flowers that is my I hope there will be
1:03:47
an exterior to my home that I can enjoy as well as the interior of the home and
1:03:52
that exterior is going to have flamingos okay Nick you ready or you want me to go no I got it uh bird stand for every
1:03:58
single Pepe version I've collected very cool very Fallout uh for me it's
1:04:04
Epicus Maximus i don't know if you guys remember Epicus Maximus epicus Maximus
1:04:10
is a shark with a rocket strapped to it with a dinosaur on his back with a with
1:04:16
a with an undead playing guitar on his back i want that i want that in my house
1:04:23
i want that it can be in separate components like we can have a pool for the shark and the devil can wander
1:04:29
around and the undead guy guess can be my roommate or something i don't know i'm not gonna kick him out i mean you
1:04:34
know obviously he's an integral part of this process but then outside there could be like a statue of Epicus Maximus
1:04:41
and maybe a big hologram of Epicus Maximus flying around in the air i just I want Epicus Maximus to be the core of
1:04:48
my housing experience so that's my answer shark dinosaur undead with guitar oh and
1:04:56
the shark has a laser gun a huge one on his back as well that that's that's also
1:05:02
integral of the to the process i think that has Yes I I you know that it is we all know uh but that is I believe that
1:05:09
is the entire podcast now guys uh this has been the Blizzard Watch podcast thank you very much to Nick for coming
1:05:15
back uh I think once a year is a little long we we should probably try to get you back in more often but I don't want
1:05:21
to make you feel rushed no I had fun i had a lot of fun thank you for having me
1:05:26
no problem uh also thank you to Liz and Joe uh Joe who has already declared
1:05:32
himself the match the matchbook that keeps things going i like to think of him as the the
1:05:39
allpurpose shape rock thing that just goes in a million places like you can
1:05:44
hit people with it you can hold things up with it you can weigh things down with it you can keep your wife's snakes
1:05:49
from getting loose with it that last one's real important if if you know that my my house is full of like deal with
1:05:55
utility rock that's fine yeah you're just you're just very important you you keep the whole thing going and you keep
1:06:02
those snakes in their containers uh also thank you to Liz for not having 30 snakes here quite frankly sometimes they
1:06:08
need a break okay thank you guys so much for being here with us it's been the Blizzard
