through Theon the prison area the the Grim guzzler um like you you basically

get the entire breath of a Dwarven City uh and a way that you don't you didn't get it was in some ways more expansive

than Iron Forge is as a main city um so us going back to it as a raid is

actually I think it's a bold choice and I I didn't expect it but it makes sense

because this was one of the iconic raid things that sort of defined what would

and I think the thing was the the massive scale of the place place it was such a huge dungeon without a linear

gozler was neutral location yeah if you managed to get through all of of black

Dwarves they were like whatever do you want booze that's basically it but there was like there were NPCs that you you

know the Rogues wanted to kill because they had this like broken bottle dagger that was the best thing before raiding

uh essentially this was raiding at the time but it but I mean there were still people doing it in five person groups

too but they just had to pull a lot slower because you know the trash mobs were just you know trash pulls were huge

like you there were like 20 guys would come if you pulled wrong uh I tanked this thing so many times I have like

tables worth of guys to coming and when one of the things that in the original days when Molton core first came out in

order to go to Molton core to attune to it so that you could go through the the outside portal you had to physically go

through the entirety of Black Rock depths to get to the the portal to the molten corpe yeah that was inside it

before before you got the teleport yeah yeah like like literally to attune at all you had to do this so I remember my

entire guild um of like like we had 40 people who we were going to do the ra

with so we went through Black Rock descent like a army of murderers just

killing everything in front of us until we got to the portal and even then it

wasn't easy like even when you outnumbered the thing by like a you know you 40 person group instead of the five

that it's designed for up to 15 that could you know normally would be doing it as a raid even then it was hard like

there just the pools were so big there was so much to do and you get lost in that place super easy but in a weird

sort of way in a weird sort of way it's almost that's also the source of its charm because we don't we don't get

dungeons like that any yeah it's a unique experience we don't get these

massive sprawling things anymore and we usually don't get things that are nonlinear anymore and even if they are

fight of Black Rock depths uh the emperor thoran fight it's not just important in a lore aspect like if if

she's she's killable too yeah she's killable can kill her and make it a lot easier but there's a quest to get her

back and both th and Magny send you on it thr's trying to make friends with the

they don't approve it's one of those amazing moments because you don't again as Liz said you just don't get that kind

shoulder from the leader is kind of fascinating um I've and plus it's so

important now like in in war within Moira is such a big character uh dager thoris the second is such a big

character and it's this it's this guy that you're killing in this fight who's the father and husband to those those

characters uh it's just it is it's a and it's a such an awful fight to get to

because you have to kill get the torch light the thing rate your way over here kill another guy get the torch try to

avoid those mobs because they respawn in like 20 seconds so you can literally it

was terrible it was terrible I remember tanking at one point and I was literally I was I was basically we were just in an

endless fight I'm like we have to we have to leave the room because these things will just keep spawning and I

went through that as a Healer and it's just like oh my God you're perpetually perpetually out of Mana you can't get

out of combat long enough to drink or if you do you're drinking for like a fraction of a second you get like one

tick off of that drink and it's just go go go go go yeah we actually yeah I

remember doing that with a night elf Druid and that was the only way we got through it because she could Shadow meld

or she could go cat form to break combat and then she'd go away a little bit and but the problem with that was that if if

you didn't get far enough away you couldn't you couldn't drink because they can't drink in cat form and the second

she started drinking she'd going to combat again so yeah it only worked a little but she was the best option

because she could get just enough monab back to just start throwing those those T over times on us and then we'd have to

literally backtrack out of the room into the hallway kill the mobs that were on us and then wait it was just oh wow and

but at the same time it was an experience man getting through it getting through that Corridor with the

Giant and the flame things just man there was so much in that fight I I
