"Having been digging through my old hard drives, I found some old screenies in my previous installations of WoW, and this one caught my eye," writes submitter Bagel of Magtheridon (EU-A). "Circa 2004, and naive as to what i was getting myself into, some friends invited me to start playing this hyped-up new game they'd heard about. I'm from the UK, so before the EU release, we were playing on a US server. This was my very first character, a warrior named Inaya.

I recall this day quite well, feeling rather pleased to have stumbled across this chap to my right whilst exploring a small island off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh. If I recall correctly, he was being held captive by naga. Is it me, or does he look ten years younger these days (minus the scars of course)? He certainly had less to say when I met him. Not the least bit talkative!

Anyway, just a blast from my past, back when everything about the world we played in still amazed me, and everything was new, exciting and just begging to be explored! Oh, how I miss those days!"
