"I really enjoy invasions," writes submitter Gimmlette of Spectacular Death on Llane (US-A). "When guild members ask in chat for help with an invasion, they can count on me to volunteer right away. I'm not quite sure how to get a platinum score, but it doesn't matter. You have an invasion? I'm happy, delirious, to come help repel those mobs.
In a different universe, there was an article about how to get Peckers the Majestic (I would dispute the 'majestic' title), the aqua blue dinosaur, to wander about your garrison. He's snarly. If you type /pet, when he passes you, he knocks you down and runs off. Friendly fellow, not.
After struggling with a garrison invasion, I said in guild chat, 'Peckers really needs to be involved in these. He's just mean enough to take out some mobs on his own.' A guild member said he does attack, but I'd never seen it, until I had an Iron Horde invasion. He threw himself into repelling the invaders, claws and teeth at the ready. That's better than the dozens of garrison folk hiding in the mine or that townsfolk who always gets caught out in the open. (Honestly people! We had that all garrison meeting about where to go when we're attacked. Did you sleep through it? And Simon, Brad, Gene and Phil, it's always YOU guys.)
I still don't understand why he's so surly when I just want to be friends. However, when he's right in there fighting whomever decides they don't like me this week, I'm willing to give him a pass and set those ten pounds of clefthoof steaks on the ground before running away while he eats."
Want to see your picture here on BlizzCaps? Well, why not? Email your screenshots to [email protected] and we’ll check it out. We prefer pictures with names turned off, and if you don't want your screenshot to get caught in our spam folder, please use the word "BlizzCaps" somewhere in the email.
