"Random graves aren't anything new in the game," writes submitter Gimmlette of
Spectacular Death on Llane (US-A). "It's not unusual to find the eternal resting place of someone or something anywhere around the world. This one is above Ironforge, on the top of the mountain from which the city is carved.
There is no identifying plaque. It's probably a dwarf as the flag is from the Explorer's League. There are tools and a jug of moonshine nearby. Is this the resting place of the original dwarven founder of Ironforge? He or she claimed the mountain for the dwarves and then died? And I wonder when this was added. Prior to flying in
Cataclysm, there is no way you would have seen this and now, you have to fly up on your own. The gryphons don't fly over the peak where this is.
I also wonder if there is a title of 'Head of Dropping Random Stuff into the
World of Warcraft.' Does some employee look at the world and say, 'Hey, folks. If we put an Explorer's League flag on top of the Ironforge mountain, I wonder how long it will take before someone finds it?'"
