Submitter Yanshu of Delmoore Organization on Earthen Ring (EU-H) is not happy about getting roped into serving alcohol at his guild's recent party. His crippling fear of social interaction -- heck, he can't even show his face on his own Armory page -- makes bartending a hellish nightmare. He'd much rather be sitting at home with a good book, but no, it has to be a pandaren behind the counter, even though he's a Shaman and not a Brewmaster Monk. And why is it that every time someone holds a guild event, the bartender winds up being a dwarf or a pandaren? That's just stereotyping. Haven't we moved beyond that, into an Azeroth where any race can be forced to stand around looking useful while his friends get sloshed? (more…)
