I have a certain theory about Saturday Night Live. Everyone claims that there is one era of SNL that is the greatest, and everything else is just a pale imitation. Having watched many of the shows from 1975 until today, I have become convinced that SNL has always been 90 percent awful and 10 percent classic. The era that people consider 'the greatest' tends to be the era when they first started watching, and perhaps not coincidentally, when they began indulging in certain recreational substances that are illegal in forty-six states. That being said, if your first thought when looking at this screenshot from Starbuk of Bladefist (US-A) isn't "Candygram!", then I'm not sure I can ever understand your world view.
