Lazani of Decoden on Aszune (EU-H) had found contentment of a sort. As a death knight she still had to hurt or kill things regularly, or be driven into a killing frenzy by the necromantic magic that animated her. And to be fair, she didn't mind the killing. Quite the opposite. But she recognized that she would hurt her allies if her killing was indiscriminate and random, so she sought purpose. A focus for her geas. She found it in several places, but usually only temporarily.
The Nexus in Coldarra looked promising, though. Many of the blue dragonflight had left their former home, yet it still held many magical treasures that would be dangerous if they fell into the wrong hands. Guarding the Nexus did prove a good focus for her. There were thieves trying to steal treasures from the Nexus fairly regularly, and if they proved scarce the wildlife around the area was both tough and ferocious. Quite good for a fight to settle her compulsion. Besides, she found the cold and precise nature of the many spells woven into the Nexus oddly soothing."
