"Normally I like to dress my Paladin in armor befitting his holy intentions, regardless of his choice of spec," writes submitter
Paladave of Garona (US-A), honorary member
Of The Queue on Nesingwary (US-A). "So usually that means yellows, lighter greys, or perhaps blues: standard Pally colors. But as a salute and a fond farewell to Draenor, and to express my feelings of sadness at this time, I decided to take advantage of the Wardrobe and dress for mourning rather than celebrating. I know lots of folks are happy to see the tail end of
Warlords, but for all its failings, it was an expansion that I still managed to enjoy.
And no, before you ask, it isn't just about the gold earning power of the Garrisons. I made good use of that, to be sure, but this expansion was also the first time I have been able to join a viable and successful raid guild (even if only as an honorary member so far -- a server transfer is a bit pricey when you're about to buy a house.) Despite the failings of the expansion,
WoD has been a success in my eyes, in no small part because of the fantastic Queue-munity which has never wavered in the face of savage Warlords, bloodthirsty Legions, or unexpected site shutdowns.
So to all the naysayers and doubters, to all the haters and to the lovers as well, I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello!"
