"I've always loved the fire effects in this game, even though I've never enjoyed playing a Fire Mage," writes submitter
Ammariss of the Queue on Nesingwary (US-A). "Even back in the olden days when the game had just come out, I thought they did a great job capturing the feel of what a nice fire should be like. As a Mage, though, I've always preferred Frost to the other spec options, even when it wasn't 'viable.' Frostfire bolt was my favorite spell for this reason. Even though the spell is now long gone, fire effects have continued to improve and this Artifact appearance really shows it off (as does the bonfire here in the bay in Stormheim). Thanks to a well aimed Slow Fall, I now have a great screenshot to highlight my point!
Now, if only I could convince the folks at Blizzard that a Midsummer Fire Festival is a silly idea. Most zones are hot enough in the summer. Now a Midwinter Fire Festival, that makes some real sense!"
