"If it had been a few days ago, I might have guessed it had something to do with a certain holiday, but as it has passed for another year, I have to assume it's been here since we first made it to the Isles.

What does this mean?  Did the Legion's invasion interrupt two lovers as they enjoyed some time alone?  What happened to them?  Now I hate the Legion even more!  And is leaving a fire (even a fire in a bottle) unattended in a forest really a good idea?  Good thing we found it before a Bear Druid named Smokie. He might be right, but he's rather smug too!"
