"Here we see the rare and elusive Carnivorous Squirrel in its natural habitat, stalking its natural prey," writes submitter
Paladave of the Queue on Nesingwary (US-A). "The Silvertail Mountain Goat is as ofyet unaware of his peril. The Vindicator and I watched, as silently as possible, lest we attract the attention of the vicious Squirrel or worse, spook its prey. Hungry Carnivorous Squirrels are not to be taken lightly, even by two battle-hardened servants of the Light. Mere moments after this photo was taken, the Squirrel pounced, firmly latching its teeth and claws into the neck of the unfortunate Mountain Goat. We quickly left the scene at that point, having no wish to be sprayed with blood or gore during the feeding frenzy.
"Fellow adventurers be wary! Despite the supposed rarity of such fearsome diminutive beasts, it seems as though Stormheim may be home to more of these creatures than previously thought. After all, it is not wise to pick up random woodland creatures to inspect them for the telltale teeth and retractable claws of the Carnivorous Squirrel. Even the best healers in Azeroth cannot reattach severed limbs, and such a wound would be considered light, coming from such a ferocious beast."
