And let's say the last place you logged off was in the rural part of Stormwind, near the pond. You've gotten the latest expansion and are eager to see the old place again.

You look and see a small island with a bunch of portals. Okay, so maybe it's easier to get around nowadays. That's kind of nice. Then you look up, and see ... THIS. Why is there some bright balloon and, oh my God, what is that in the sky? What have they done to Stormwind?

(I haven't taken a break, so I've seen the changes as they occurred, but I can just imagine the surprise that some returning players may face.)"
