This week we're bringing you another game Pigeon's 11, in which our feathered cast of criminals dives into the world of esports and culinary delights at MetzlCon. The plan: to steal the coveted pretzel trophy in the middle of a packed house of gamers and amateur chefs. It may be the biggest gaming convention of the year, but our pigeons only have eyes for the pretzels. (Well, most of them anyway.)

This is the second game in a three-part series of Pigeon's 11 by 9th Level Games. It uses the Polymorph system for a game that's straightforward, narrative focused, and rewards you for rolling a one. see esports They want to know who the true champion of Heroes of the Dough is

this year at this tournament So there's a little crowd here not the biggest

crowd Uh the arena is a big circular uh circular room and you file in with

everyone else Your badges are scanned as you go inside or at least

checked And uh there are round seating along the outside that are starting to

fill up with people There are screens on all sides and screens up in the middle

so you can see what's going on And in the very center of the arena there are there's an elevated platform It has

desks with computers on it for the competitors And in the center elevated

even higher is a a central dis with the trophy which is

shaped like a like a an interwoven like lace of

pretzels and it's full of pretzels and surrounded by pretzels of all types

So it's like right in the center of everything It is in the center of everything

bit of hostility This is a pretzel friendly crowd but you do find a couple of people who are like "Yeah I mean I am

concerned about carbs and I you know my my sister is gone gluten-free and keeps

telling me I should go gluten-free and I should probably talk to my doctor." You know you find a little bit of concern

but most of the crowd has a Are these among the players or um Yeah I'm looking for players Players

are also like these black suited people who seem you evaluate them

as to be more security guards as opposed to just average hi can I see your badge

everywhere This event is being livereamed online There are a lot of cameras but there are also a few cameras

that seem not intended for broadcast but specifically for security that sort of

uh I'll say there's one on each corner of each hall kind of getting a sweep of

the rooms And you're you're familiar with security systems You can assume that

these cameras are being monitored somewhere in the building and probably you know someone's watching them and is

All right Watching for cheaters We need to find a way to take care of

some of that Uh and looking for exits too uh not just the way we came in but any other you know back of house or

emergency exits where we can make an escape Um so there are multiple emergency exits around the back of the

building around the back of each of these halls There of course the ones in the front where you came in The esports

arena also has emergency exits to either side in addition to the big one that's

funneling everyone inside There are from the front of the building there are

stairs up to the higher levels where you snuck in last night and found some

office space and some stray badges And there are stairs down to the lower level where the shopping is I guess it's

always worth looking to see if the cameras do have any blind spots or patterns or anything that's going to

uh you know behind some big display posters showing off pretzels and muffins

and all of that There's one of them that does have kind of a a breaker box of

some kind in it and you smash it open and you start looking at everything

inside specifically Um there's a loading dock right uh there are loading docks They're

on the loading docks are on the lower levels I want to like basically try and

figure out using the map that that we have Uh the easiest way to dis to be

able to dismantle systematically alarms and stuff between the arena and

H I mean there are breakers you could pull here that might cut power to
