Tavern Watch Plays Triangle Agency 1: The Agency has your very best interests at heart!
Apr 2, 2025
Welcome to beautiful Ternion City, home of the Triangle Agency. In our corporate headquarters, agents are hard at work — right now! — to preserve reality. You like reality, don't you? Of course you do. And your friends at Triangle Agency are here to keep the reality you love safe... preferably without you noticing any of those pesky breaks in reality in the first place! What breaks in reality? We certainly haven't seen any!
GM Phil Ulrich helps the Agency's latest employees with their new field assignment: to investigate a string of strangely similar and equally unexplained deaths. Sounds like a potential break in reality to us!
This is the first of a three-part series in which we play Triangle Agency, an extremely triangular TTRPG by Haunted Table Games. If you enjoyed this game, you can pick up your own copy from Haunted Table Games or Modiphius. We welcome your future contributions to Triangle Agency!

0:48
agency greetings and welcome to another Tavern watch plays today we are going to be playing a game of triangle agency in
0:55
the heart of beautiful downtown Tan City there's a skyscraper that dominates the sky line that most people can't see if
1:01
you can see it you're one of the lucky people called by the agency for a very important Mission stabilizing reality uh
1:08
the agency is uh basically uh fights weird threats that want to unravel
1:13
reality and will'll meet some of the agents here uh starting with Joe well hi
1:20
I'm Joe Perez you may have recognized me from other such wonderful things as other Tavern watch and uh all of our
1:26
other podcasts cuz that's where I live uh I will be playing playing Terren htio
1:32
micus um I don't know if I want to reveal who I am quite yet uh but I'm
1:38
more than what I've seen and I really like coffee oops Yeah we can get a little more into who everybody is uh
1:43
when we uh when we when we take a more in-depth look at your lives uh let's go with Liz hi I'm Liz I'm playing Louisa I
1:51
work in PR and uh I am so glad we are all here to play this game together today this is going to be
1:58
great oh and Chris I I don't know if I trust that um so I'm Chris you may
2:05
recognize me as your weekly video game writer uh and I am playing Roger Hensley
2:11
there we go uh Eric I'm Eric um one of the newer crew uh blizzard watch first
2:17
time jumping on one of the podcasts and I'm playing Tad silverfield today always willing to listen all right H Joan hey
2:24
I'm Joan Albright today I'm playing gari Blackthorn AKA doy who is an intern at
2:31
the triangle Corporation and last but certainly not least Nick hi I'm Nick Marino I write about wild classic and
2:38
sometimes I appear on other podcasts where I famously roll very well I hope to continue that series of famously good
2:44
rolles today as I play case who works in R&D for the agency all righty and I of
2:51
course am Phil rck I am your GM today which for once means general manager uh
2:56
so as I said triangle triangle agency is a game about uh agents for a uh sort of
3:02
Supernatural corporation that is responsible for stabilizing reality our agents will be hunting down anomalies
3:08
which are sort of obsessions or thoughts that have grown overpowered and threaten to contribute to the destruction of
3:14
reality as we know it reality is important that's where you live so uh it's a it's a very important uh uh thing
3:22
to the company and to you so well first uh we we'll see kind of what your agents
3:28
are doing on kind of a typical morning prior to work let's zoom in on uh Louisa
3:34
uh Louisa we know you work in PR uh what what what what are you doing today on a typical day at the agency when you're
3:41
not called for field work uh when I'm not called for field work okay well I would be reviewing reports from other
3:48
other people in the agency so that I can compile the important messaging that I
3:53
need to get out about the company and make sure that no incorrect messages are getting out because sometimes sometimes
4:00
people like to talk it's just human nature and it's important to make sure they know what really happened and and
4:08
that they don't accidentally perhaps repeat something inaccurate that's true and one thing we know about you is that
4:14
you are very good at making things disappear would you like to talk a little about your uh your your own uh anomalous
4:22
abilities well you know I I try not to make things disappear these days I
4:28
unless unless unless they really deserve it because sometimes things just need to
4:34
disappear yet sometimes it's for the best but uh my anomaly is absence that is uh caused
4:43
by it has grown on the absence of things should should I say more than that or uh
4:50
I'll leave it up to you if you want to reveal the the the interesting part of your character's background I will say the other agents probably do not know
4:57
the company frowns upon discussing your personal lives at work um yes I will say Joe's character
5:05
is is aware but I don't think I don't I don't talk about this uh Terence knows little about you because he prepares
5:11
your special beverages uh so I'll say that this morning you've discovered something interesting while filing some
5:16
paperwork and making some incorrect paperwork disappear you discover something's disappeared that you uh
5:24
didn't mean to um you are maybe putting on some music to help yourself concentrate and you discovered that
5:30
you've completely forgotten the words to your favorite song uh how how does this like you can't call it to mind you
5:36
should know this but it is gone from your mind what how how how does this feel for you it's it's extremely
5:43
frustrating because I do know that sometimes my anomaly gets a little out of control and wants to make things sort
5:52
of vanish and revel in the absence the holes left behind by these things and
5:58
it's like H not again come on we have been over this you don't need to eat
6:04
music now there's only silence as is appropriate from the absence anomaly uh
6:12
but uh we'll zoom out we'll check in with another agent uh doy uh what tell
6:17
tell us a little more about about what Do's typical morning before work looks like as a uh overworked and probably
6:23
unpaid intern for the triangle agency U before work um I'm hanging out with the
6:29
my roommate she she likes to kind of uh tease me about all the things that I
6:36
just don't know how to do because my anomaly is manifold which means
6:41
sometimes when I go on a trip I end up a little further away than I end yeah you are you are very far away from where you
6:48
originally uh manifested I would say right yeah yeah it was uh it was let's
6:54
just say that i' never heard of Vermont when I ended up there
7:00
also not really familiar with you know things like cars and television sets and any of the stuff that most people use on
7:08
a daily basis around here that's true you've had to get used to electricity anyway uh but one thing that you've run
7:14
into this morning while you're trying to get dressed trying to get ready for work and you're heading out the door for the agency is you keep tripping over wires
7:22
uh on your way through the through the apartment sometimes it's uh you know it's it's wires that seem to have
7:27
extended further from a computer than they did before sometimes it's almost like on your way out the door you trip over a cord and it's uh you stumble and
7:35
it it's like you can't really tell where it's going to or from and you definitely don't know why your roommate uh had that
7:41
there um well I know better than to touch anything so I'm just going to try
7:47
and carefully step over as many of them as I can cool yeah you get through that uh you get through that weird uh thing
7:54
and you I how do you get to work exactly do you uh do you grab a bus do you trust buses I assume you don't have a driver's
8:00
license yet being from a pre-industrial society well the bus isn't too bad it
8:05
was a little weird at first but I've been on boats before so you that's true and what is a bus if not a land boat all
8:12
right uh let's next take a look at Roger
8:17
Roger you're um I understand you have some issues with money and keeping it
8:23
you could save that as it turns out the reason for you
8:29
uh being low on money has uh sent you a text message this morning uh as you're getting ready and ask you to uh stop by
8:36
uh stop by his place on your way to work because you are behind on a payment right now oh lovely uh well my way to
8:44
work is really an interesting thing because uh you know I wake up in the morning I stretch out I uh kind of you
8:52
know fix my hair as best I can and then I Stumble out of the broom closet
8:58
downstairs should be noted the triangle agency does not frown on this because an agent who does not leave the office is
9:03
an agent that the agency knows the location of at all time you can't cause trouble this is company
9:09
approved I will have to figure out how I'm going to go deal with that um but
9:14
but business first and also maybe there's Donuts in the break room God I'm hungry yeah I think you uh you you
9:21
receive a series of more urgent text messages during the day and this is kind of weird because usually uh vasto hates
9:28
texting he usually calls you so this is kind of odd in and of itself oh that is really bad uh oh yep uh but uh you can
9:38
uh you can just let that uh slide to the side if you want just you know pray it doesn't catch up with you we uh we we'll
9:44
we we'll deal with that um a little bit later yeah that works uh speaking of
9:50
things catching up with them uh Nick tell us a little bit about case well case is probably already in the office
9:58
by now uh time is a funny thing uh especially when its rules don't apply to you uh case is
10:05
a Time piece anomaly uh and after an unfortunate encounter with puneton Phil
10:12
in the past the abilities of case are highly sought after by specifically his
10:19
bosses for uh always shoveling in extra work for things that have already
10:26
happened so that we can make them happen again more efficiently uh it's always so fun when I open up my
10:33
email inbox and emails dated 2 days 3 days 4 days from now up here letting me
10:40
know about things that have already I already have deadlines that have passed
10:46
for reminding me to get on the ball again it's uh it it you have to admit
10:51
that doing the job of two people is the new doing the job of one person but you've got the time for it uh however
10:56
this morning finds you in kind of a maybe a little bit of a grumpy mood last night you were attempting to watch TV uh
11:03
your your favorite show which I'm curious what case's favorite TV show is unironically case's favorite TV show
11:10
right now is True Detective season one it's always fun when you get to go
11:15
rewatch these things for the first time and for the thousandth time at the same time time is a flat circle uh however
11:22
you had a problem and at first you thought maybe something weird electronically was going on and then you thought maybe your streaming service was
11:28
acting up your TV kept muting itself uh and you try to unmute it it wasn't responding you're like the battery's
11:33
dead and then your uh your stream would switch to displaying The Opening screen
11:39
from a fairly obscure arcade game called pin drop now pin drop was in arcades
11:44
when you were a kid um it's uh it's kind of a if you think like uh alternating
11:50
stages one stage you're uh you're playing uh you're playing Pac-Man collecting power option in the second one uh sort of a uh sort of a dance
11:57
battle uh face off um and you haven't thought about pin drop in years but you
12:03
almost wonder if this is like a weird advertisement in this stream you're not sure why it's muting it before it shows
12:08
you the opening screen though and then it goes away after a while so you just kind of write it off as an advertisement
12:13
weird things that happen at home all right so oh sorry go no no no I was just
12:19
gonna say I often wonder if my TV went back to a point in its production period
12:25
before it was installed with sound but you've acquired one of those rare
12:30
silent TVs uh okay let's see uh we haven't talked to Tad today uh Tad
12:37
you've got a uh you've got an interesting little um friend that you care for would like to talk about your
12:43
uh your little pal your dependent though even though I've come to work at the agency I still maintain a casual
12:50
part-time as the assistant Junior zookeeper at the trinon city zoo and uh part of my duties are taking care of
12:56
some of the sick and injured animals so uh this week I am taking care of grumbles uh ack hierax uh sort of
13:04
picture a cross between a groundhog and an elephant uh it's more closely related to an elephant but it looks like a
13:09
little woodchuck uh furry guy tusks big toes um and he's been kind of munching
13:14
on some of the uh paperwork on my desk while I try to take calls at the uh helpline at the agency of which that's
13:21
my job trying to hit calls from customers and people and uh trying to solve their problems sure uh so while
13:29
you were uh at the zoo this morning picking up some of the No Doubt specialized food that a rock HX requires
13:34
you know before he came to work and started shredding papers maybe maybe maybe Louisa drop some off on your desk
13:40
uh you have a uh I believe you're acquainted with a rival zookeeper is that right yeah that's right Keith uh
13:48
Keith right uh Keith was um not really being helpful this morning Keith was uh
13:54
kind of um basically being a lazy jerk while you were there and mostly complaining about his uh social life
14:00
which you didn't care about uh talking about how he had uh he he wasn't even supposed to be here today uh he had
14:06
taken the day off to uh he had planned to go to an event at uh a dancing event at two Jack's tavern rated third best
14:13
third friendliest Tavern in the city uh but the event was cancelled again and he's just he's really complaining about
14:19
this as if he expects you to give a crap about him Keith has always been so utterly
14:25
normal that it sort of just washes over me and I barely register it heith is normal to the max all right and last but
14:32
not least uh Joe Terren Terren is uh one of our one of our Baristas at the agency
14:39
a very valuable and uh may maybe underpaid and undervalued uh job at the
14:45
agency uh it is very true and Terrence uh doesn't seem to Really Care uh about
14:50
the underpaid or undervalued portion because uh really he gets to do what he
14:56
loves the most which is watch people people are fascinating creatures I love
15:02
watching what they do and uh you know making sure that like their little lives it's it's absolutely fantastic and every
15:09
morning uh Terrence who never seems to leave the agency you're not quite sure
15:14
like everybody seems to know him but nobody quite knows where he goes or what he does but he always seems to be at the
15:19
agency behind the counter of the uh the coffee bar uh with his copper
15:26
1970s L ranja uh double boiler uh espresso machine always
15:32
clean and proper always Prim this double breasted vest his white sleeves rolled
15:38
up his uh polka dot bow tie always neatly done his hair uh perfectly qued
15:43
back uh his Pinstripes always neatly pleated uh and he starts every morning
15:49
by walking up to this machine uh almost like saying a prayer to it uh making
15:54
himself a wonderful uh dirty chai latte with soy milk specifically soy milk has
16:01
to be soy milk mammal milk is no good uh and then just going and finding a nice corner of the agency to sit down and
16:08
make sure that nobody notices him he watches everybody go about their day uh and everybody goes about their morning sipping his uh wonderful concoction
16:16
until it is time for him to clock in um and then greet all of his and he calls them friends they're everybody's his
16:22
friends right like we're all friendly here um yeah that's right like that's what we're supposed to be and wants to
16:29
make sure that he gives them little tiny cups of happiness because that is the most important thing cuz if you are
16:35
happy the anomalies can't eat perfect yes uh so you you've noticed this morning as you're going through your
16:41
daily routine your daily ritual it it centers you that you're not sure if
16:46
someone has been losing things or if someone is playing a very elaborate and weirdly pointless prank on you but you
16:54
go up to your your extremely fancy double boiler and you you look inside it you know where would normally put the
16:59
water in for the for the boiling and before you put the water in you see something inside um and you pull it out
17:06
and it's a playing card uh specifically it is a Queen of Clubs um and the
17:12
weirdest part is that this is some kind of weird maybe it's like a horror theme set you've never seen before but the queen appears to be screaming huh that
17:19
is not supposed to be in here I just literally take it out I don't really pay much mind to it and I just kind of put
17:25
it on the counter and then go back to filling the coffee cuz that is the most important thing that is what he is
17:31
absolutely focused on yep and maybe like I said maybe somebody lost it maybe somebody will pick it up if you leave it
17:36
there on the counter you never know uh you make the rest of your latte without any weirdness uh you go to sit down in
17:42
your little corner table um there is of course a little uh cardboard uh centerpiece uh set up you know telling
17:48
the newest the newest the newest things for sale in the in the coffee bar uh and you realize that there's something
17:54
sticking out of the side of it uh like someone had just tucked a piece of paper into it you you you check that and once
17:59
again it's another playing C this time the Jack of Hearts um once again appears to be screaming it's very very weird
18:06
theme a little maybe a little unsettling maybe not for you just knowing who you are and what you do I'd like to try to
18:13
do something here and see since uh my my anomaly is basically altering reality I
18:20
want to see if I run my hand over the card if I can adjust it from screaming to Smiling okay is this a uh I was going
18:27
to say is this an anomalous ability you have no it's it's the it's the presence night nightmare lets me alter the
18:34
visibility of myself and things around me okay uh sure you um sorry I'm looking
18:40
at the wrong thing um yeah you can try it um I think it works a little bit the
18:47
face you can actually almost watch as the face kind of Alters to kind of close its mouth but its eyes are still looking
18:54
unsettlingly at you and you are getting just the faintest h of anomalous
19:00
residents ah which is weird you can because you know sometimes if sometimes
19:05
when agents because of your special residence with anomalies you can uh you know when you encounter these things in
19:11
the field you can kind of track them but you look around and you think ah maybe someone's using their anomaly to play tricks on me but unfortunately you don't
19:18
you can't like find a trail or anything it's almost just like this starts and ends here as though it's kind of a spot
19:24
that just kind of appeared out of nowhere it's it's weird um and you know you seem to be you're you can eventually
19:30
get the face to be less creepy and unsettling since you're more uh since you're stronger than whatever this
19:37
little tidbit of a ripple was um but you know with that out of the way you can
19:42
maybe look you you can maybe continue your ritual to uh look around to people watch yeah I'll people watch and I'll
19:49
also look to see if other people are noticing the cards in particular and see what their reactions are to it and just
19:55
kind of fade back into the background a little yeah you don't a lot not a lot more of them appear uh and
20:01
they mostly seem to appear around you which is kind of odd you do find one more before your shift ends uh you're
20:08
you're working uh maybe behind the counter once your ship is officially started and you open the uh cash
20:13
register cuz someone is paying in cash instead of commendations which is kind of odd for today um but maybe they're an
20:20
off-site visitor maybe they're a new hire uh you pop open the register to make some change uh and there is a uh a
20:26
King of Spades inside um this one is also screaming just like the others is
20:32
there before you really sorry go ahead I was going to say is there a company protocol for this that I should be like reporting this to somebody uh if it's uh
20:41
since it's happening within company bounds and the company through agency through the agency OS devices you've
20:46
been issued is observing and noting everything you do it is known to the company um so if it alarms someone
20:51
enough to require an investigation they will send you uh which appropriately enough everyone's uh phones kind of beep
20:59
or your your your aail inbox tells you that you have a new message and everyone
21:04
receives a message from your uh general manager Gail Tilda who is inviting you
21:10
all to the conference room up on the fourth floor for a briefing about a uh a
21:16
field assignment today okay I make my way there immediately well this should be interesting I make sure my papers are
21:23
all put back where they belong and then hurry upstairs I make sure case make sure to go without pen in case Gail
21:29
tries to get him to sign his pip again okay once everyone uh kind of
21:37
filters in uh Gail who is a uh a middle-aged uh a middle-aged
21:42
African-American lady and very Prim like a very Prim suit suit jacket um the face
21:48
I'm going for is the chief from the game show of uh wearing the world is car in San
21:53
Diego Gail Gail welcomes you all in and she's kind of passed uh some paperwork out and she has a uh a PowerPoint
22:00
presentation pulled up on the uh on the projector in the conference room and welcomes you all in by name hey stty
22:07
good to see everybody uh hope you guys are excited you've got some field work today uh without even saying anything uh
22:14
I just kind of teren this very quietly very like in like try not to be noticed
22:20
just puts Gail's favorite coffee next to uh her seat and just kind of goes back
22:26
to his seat he notices you and she favors you with a uh a nod thank you you're always so thoughtful Terrence
22:34
well one must keep everyone's morale up and then everybody looks over and sees that they all have their favorite coffees like at their seats whether or
22:41
not they notice that is a whole other thing Rogers I was gonna say Roger coffee is less coffee and more just
22:49
absolute sludge like it is it is like three creamers and 18
22:56
sugars so you're having a little coffee with your add-ins more or less going to say and I believe uh Liz noted on her uh
23:03
on her intake form that Louisa prefers fruit smoothies with a special ingredient uh yes yes so H this is
23:10
perfect as always Terrence thank you so much well what are friends for Terence
23:16
this cof oh go ahead go Louisa gives this perfect closed mouth smile Terence
23:22
think this is perfectly normal as he always has and just doesn't even react all righty uh anybody else got any
23:29
comments about their favorite drink oh CH just says Terrace's coffee is so good thank you he Downs it all in one go and
23:35
in the blink of an eye uh the cup is filled again dad's not really a coffee
23:42
person yet she she hasn't discovered her favorite type but she does like a good
23:48
hot chocolate so I think I think that's what Terren makes for do for Daddy then
23:54
is like a very Choate forward uh mocha latte uh but is also substitute
24:03
chocolate milk for the regular milk because you like hot chocolate so it is like and just like the little hint of
24:09
cinnamon and Nutmeg through it as well and just make sure that it like you know he's he's trying to you know be on your
24:15
good side we're gonna have to pause the game I need one of those right
24:21
now fun fact for those at home I was a barista in real life for a while so the drinks are going to get interesting you
24:27
pick this absolutely the reason I picked this yeah Terence is uh Terren is now the the team hero uh but once everybody
24:34
has their drinks and you're settled in you're kind of siing you're going to flipping through the packets that uh Gail has laid out for you and she
24:41
explains uh she pulls up a map on the uh on the on on the uh the screen it's a
24:47
it's a neighborhood I don't know if any of you are familiar with it is a neighborhood on the outskirts of Tan
24:53
City uh called caddy corner it's not the official name uh but it was so named because there was a there was a project
25:00
at one time for the uh you know that was going to connect the highway on that side of the city to other locations called the road to tomorrow and
25:07
unfortunately funding fell through because of how much they were going to have to spend to get this done the
25:12
highway project lasted just long enough to uh tear down the homes of half the neighborhood drive the rest up and leave
25:19
behind a disconnected underpass to nowhere but the neighborhood across the corner caddy Corner uh after eager
25:25
buyers cleared out for you know more lucrative more hot parts of the city they uh the community has filled in the
25:31
gaps here um and there was and the news is that two weeks ago a death was
25:38
reported within a neighborhood in the neighborhood of caddy Corner Tony Jackson one of the two owners of a local
25:44
bar called Two Jacks was found with his face Frozen in an expression of pain mouth open as if screaming but the cause
25:50
of death appeared to be a sudden Cardiac Arrest last week another death was reported a young man named Manny dvaro
25:57
was found in the same state uh at a local business called the lro Cade this
26:03
coincidence got the agency's attention which led to the most recent discovery uh unbeknownst to the residents of caddy
26:09
Corner another body was found outside of the neighborhood last night uh a woman in her late 20s again with the same
26:16
expression uh Dead next to a bag of metalworking tools uh the body has been
26:21
dead for about a month and was found during a survey of nearby land for further development the police have not
26:27
yet begun an investigation into her identity which will make it difficult to determine something is killing people in
26:32
the neighborhood and the agency would rather find out what it is and of course have you contain and retrieve it before
26:38
rumors bring attention to the anomaly's activity when the picture of the face
26:44
that's in that like horror esque like locked in horror uh Terren takes out one
26:50
of the cards that I am absolutely confident is on his person at the and Compares it yeah uh Gail sees you pull it out I
26:57
guess and kind of Nod and it's yeah it's definitely the same kind of facial expression it's a face that is like it like I said screaming uh
27:05
screaming in pain uh Frozen uh it it definitely seems like maybe this is related in some weird resonant way huh
27:13
well then that's not good it's not Gail says naturally of course we obviously don't want people dying uh but also as
27:21
we said this uh we're we're surmising that this is uh probably anomalous activity and we need to contain before
27:28
it creates uh loose ends or more corpses or both and Gail clicks to the next
27:33
slide and says uh of course your objective as always is to and she slides
27:39
two things across the table uh she says your objective is to either contain or destroy uh this anomaly uh whatever form
27:46
it may take uh she Pats the first item which is a normal looking briefcase she says of course this is the standard
27:53
agency issue normal briefcase uh it can contain any anomaly of any size or shape
27:59
as long as you can convince it to enter the briefcase or Tire it out to the point that it can't fight you and this
28:05
and here she's the other thing she slid across to you looks like nothing so much as a 1950 science fiction ray gun says
28:13
this is the Ripple gun as a last resort if you cannot contain the anomaly This Will Destroy it but you only get one
28:19
shot so aim carefully and I don't think I need to say this you're all good employees and good standing please don't
28:25
hit anything else with it and on the slide also are listed a number of optional objectives as you know the uh
28:33
agency primarily in addition to uh well some of you are getting paid uh Earth
28:38
money uh also rewards commendations to agents who perform well in the field and
28:43
demerits for those who don't uh to see who is best ingraining the lessons of
28:49
proper agency behavior and culture into their work uh as you all know uh you have some that go along with your job
28:55
you're all aware of what those are uh and there also a set of three optional objectives no one knows why the company
29:02
uh sets these optional objectives it's just uh you know reality is weird and the agency is unfathomable sometimes
29:09
your optional objectives for today are uh plus 10 commendations for the first agent to get the highest possible score
29:15
on pin drop plus one Commendation for each agent who collects a jack playing
29:21
card and she points at U terance and says no the one you found this morning doesn't count a and and last but not
29:27
least plus one Merit for each noise complaint caused by an agent says any questions no seems pretty
29:33
straightforward as usual okay well everyone uh you have your assignments you have your equipment uh let's uh
29:39
let's get out there in the field and uh make the agency proud agents and with that Gail returns to her uh corner
29:46
office right well then shall we go to the bar and see where the dead body was and in Terren is just absolutely like
29:53
it's a giant grin ear to ear like like this is completely un phasing him Roger
29:59
just it it looks like he might just fall asleep at the other end of the table but
30:04
he like drags himself out of his seat and it's like all right let's just go do
30:09
this Roger do you need me to make sure that it is more caffeinated next time
30:14
you know I don't even think it's that today it's personal stuff you know how
30:20
it is oh I understand completely and you see Terrence very very quietly puts away a IV bag full of caffeine
30:29
hey Terrence did you happen to uh bring a second coffee like you have lately sometimes and Tad is uh trying to get
30:35
the coffee out of the fabric of the seat that he's in because his hierax has knocked it over I mean for you of course
30:41
and you see Terence just kind of like reaches in and pull for you my friend
30:47
always I am prepared thanks Terrence you're quite welcome shall we then uh I
30:52
mean that dead body scene of crime event I don't know what we call it anymore uh
30:58
but it's not going to wait forever well it might in my
31:04
case can somebody give me a ride well I thought we would all go together it's a
31:09
lovely day for a walk sounds like maybe you don't want to let Roger drive
31:14
though okay so everybody piles into someone's vehicle I don't know who's uh
31:20
who's in charge of transporting everyone probably has to be one of the few of you who actually leaves the agency I've got
31:26
a minivan uh from the zoo for the week so perfect perfect pile into the Dodge
31:32
easy you guys pile into a Tan City Zoo branded Minivan and head out to caddy
31:38
Corner which uh as stated it's kind of uh it's kind of out on the outskirts of Tan City it's not uh it's not a real
31:45
growing neighborhood thanks to the highway project but it's close-knit as the reputation it has um and on I'm
31:52
assuming there's is there anything anyone wants to stop for on the way otherwise it sounds like you were heading to Jack's tavern I'm good I
32:00
think I have everything I need there's the thing that I should stop for that I am very clearly
32:05
ignoring uh just on on the way down before we got in the car I just made sure to grab a rubber duck off my desk
32:12
yes uh everyone also has um as noted in your competencies everyone has their uh
32:19
whatever their initial requisition was uh along with as stated the normal briefcase and the Ripple gun um whoever
32:26
wants to keep charge of those keep charge of them but remember the Ripple gun only has one shot um and the agency
32:31
would prefer that you capture the anomaly instead uh you know obliterating
32:37
uh thoughts uh which is really what anomalies are when you get down to it as embodied thoughts and obsessions uh
32:43
eliminating those can be problematic sometimes but uh you guys pull into uh
32:49
caddy corner and you find it's uh it's a fairly so it's a small neighborhood most
32:54
of the businesses are centered around a uh a a kind kind of a Central Square it's very easy to find two Jack's tavern
33:01
it is a uh squat brick building with a sign over the door stating the name and a hand painted Banner taped to it in
33:08
duct tape that reads third friendliest bar in the city this of course being an award that
33:14
they won from the attorney in City Times uh just a few months ago well we're definitely in the right place if it's
33:20
the third friendly you know one of my co-workers at the zoo said something about this bar
33:26
this morning but I can't remember it was because it's just so boring I'll try to think of it it might jog your memory
33:32
when you uh see out front there's a chalkboard sign with the events of the week on one side normally it's a the
33:37
normal lineup looks like open Mark Monday uh WEA Wednesday featuring the Bachata basement band and Friday night
33:44
grooves with DJ Teddy G however every event on there has been crossed out and scrolled over with the word cancelled uh
33:51
and as you it's one of those you know chalkboard things that kind of sits on the sidewalk and on the opposite side of as you walk past it says in of Tony
33:58
Jackson the original Jack of Hearts so at this point is the bar closed uh or open or is it like shut down while
34:05
they're pending the investigation it is uh so uh it is open uh Tony's death was
34:12
let's see when did it when did I say it was Tony's Tony's death was two weeks ago so you know the body's been HED away
34:18
it's been taken in for an autopsy that's why they ruled it Cardiac Arrest uh the bar is open um and yeah there you can
34:26
see there are people inside you know cuz obviously people have to work at a bar during the day to get it ready for that evening but um there's uh yeah it's open
34:34
you guys can't go inside you don't have to like break into the bar or anything I'll let somebody else take Le don't everybody talk at
34:40
[Laughter] once I will walk into the bar sure uh
34:46
okay so you open the bar it's an old wooden door uh little window at the top that looked like it was once painted like a playing card uh there's an ad
34:52
taped to it uh some of these words are maybe don't mean anything to you uh bunch of clip art graphics on it it says
34:59
sweaty stinky covered in beer do your laundry at the lro Cade and get $5 worth of arcade tokens each month uh there's
35:06
also an old flyer for a block party out at a place called The Station uh you can file those away as you walk in as you
35:12
open the door and walk in um it is an it is kind of an old school Dive Bar um low
35:17
lights shadowy Corners a floor that's sticky all the time for no obvious reason and wooden furniture with the
35:24
varnish peeling off of it um it's bigger than it looked on the outside because it actually fills the building next to it
35:31
uh there is a uh there's a bar on one side of the room and a fairly large
35:36
dance floor for a uh place this size along with a DJ booth that also serves
35:41
as a stage when you need to and you know a bathroom a door that says office and a
35:47
few customers inside uh doing day drinking and uh one bartender uh behind
35:53
the bar what would you all like to do everyone looks up when you walk in because six people filing into the bar
35:58
in the middle of the day is definitely more activity than the bar usually gets in the mornings I look at them with
36:04
equal bewilderment because why are so many people day drinking this early Louisa pulls off her sunglasses
36:11
because she's been like covered up and she's oh it has been so long since I've have been somewhere like this this is
36:18
Great Is it supposed to smell like that yes that's part of charm I'm going to
36:23
just speak cidly to everybody I would like to just remind everyone we're here investigating a death please
36:30
don't be too cheery it might alert the locals how uh how loudly are you saying
36:36
this that one's more of just like a like a not a panicked whisper but like a hey
36:42
you know dead guy cheer too cheery don't make it hot just be
36:48
easy okay uh one thing oh God Phil no I was going to say go ahead go ahead I was
36:54
going to say when uh when Roger enters one thing to to notice if you're paying any attention is
37:00
he he makes a really wide birth around everybody like even even his co-workers
37:05
when he walks past them it's almost like um you you know when people have like uh The Germ avoidance like Howie Mandel has
37:13
kind of like that uh make sure that he takes a a good wide birth around
37:18
everybody as he steps up kind of towards the bar um and just pauses as he gets
37:24
close yeah yeah when you get uh close to the bar uh the guy behind the bar uh
37:30
looks up at you and he's kind like can I uh get you or your friends something um you're close enough down to
37:36
the bar to see um so he's he was standing at the half of the bar that's farthest from the door and you notice as
37:42
you get closer that the part of the back of the bar closest to the door is
37:48
cordoned off and he won't he doesn't go over to that side while he's cleaning if he needs something that's on that side
37:53
of the bar he kind of reaches over um and brings it back he's he only working on this half of the bar that's not
37:59
cordoned off does it seem conscious or does it seem like a subconscious like reaction y yeah it's very conscious okay
38:07
he uh he doesn't look like he even necessarily likes looking at that side of the bar is there uh something going
38:13
on with the side of the bar that's his partner's side of the bar yeah he kind of just he said well right yes he kind
38:21
of Gest to it he says that's where um kind of he says you no you folks don't look like you're from here uh we had a
38:27
bit of a uh mishap a few weeks ago the uh one of the owners uh was back here on
38:33
this side of the bar and uh had apparently had a heart attack right behind the bar and uh the cops kind of
38:40
cordoned this side off while they were investigating and then even after they took the body away Jackie's kind of kept it uh you know she's kind of kept it
38:47
blocked off and they won't they won't even let me clean on that side and he kind of oh that's just terrible yeah he
38:54
says I'm I'm keeping a dive bar with half a bar but anyway what can I what can I get you
38:59
folks I would like a coffee Martini please coffee Martini all right uh he's
39:06
clearly not used to anybody ordering anything that comes in a martini glass at a dive bar but he kind of you know he
39:13
kind of looks around he's like okay I know we have martini glasses here somewhere and he finds one and he he he
39:18
uh he he's having issues finding the glass where he does find it but he makes the drink expertly this guy has clearly
39:25
uh he clearly knows his way around a bar and makes you a fantastic coffee Martini I tip my non-existent hat to the skill
39:33
uh game recognized [Laughter] game so I seems like such a a tragedy to
39:42
that have befall here I'm I'm sorry to hear that was there any indication that there was any health problems like
39:48
normally there's like a buildup or a leadup and he says no it's it's weird man like you know some people want to
39:55
say oh you work behind a bar you probably drank himself to death Tony didn't even drink like yeah he worked
40:01
late but like Tony Tony only drank root beer he's maybe the sugar got to him but
40:07
like he wasn't even that old man it's he kind of stops you can see he's kind of getting emotional he's like I'm sorry I
40:13
I don't need to dump this on you you guys just came to you just came to visit I'm sorry I I all I yeah I reach out of
40:19
hand I'm like no it's it's okay human emotions are real and valid he kind of
40:24
takes a deep breath and he says okay thank thank you he doesn't think too
40:29
hard about the working about the wording of that Joe you uh you Terrence feels a
40:35
sensation of like almost like the sensation of like a nice hug or a warm afternoon and you realize that the
40:41
agency has awarded you a commendation for making someone feel welcome
40:48
excellent uh yeah the uh a a side note here is that uh when when you receive uh
40:56
when you receive commendations or demerits uh from the agency you know it
41:01
immediately a commendation is like I said it's a it's a positive feeling it's like it's like getting a warm hug or a
41:08
uh you know your favorite drink after a long day or anything like that and a demerit imagine uh the parent you like
41:15
most being disappointed in you or going to your favorite restaurant discovering
41:20
that your food is gone that feeling is the feeling that you experience when you receive a demerit Joe
41:28
has received a commendation congratulations excellent PL of my strengths uh I want to take a look
41:33
around the bar real quick and see if there is any like artwork hanging up or
41:38
like paintings or anything like facing where Tony was found okay um so most of
41:44
what's uh around the pl there's nothing that stands out right away there's um
41:50
you know there's the they've got like a they've got a a newspaper thing tacked up and framed where they got their third friendliest bar in the city award
41:57
there's some like artwork that looks like playing cards or whatever playing on their name um but unlike the cards
42:04
you were finding this morning um like they're maybe they're faded they're a little tattered because the art is kind of old um cuz this bar is about 20 years
42:12
old or at least has been owned by the current oders for about 20 years but you don't you don't see any like screaming
42:18
face cards like you uh so I'm I'm not looking this yeah I'm not looking for cards I'm looking for hanging artwork
42:25
there's a specific reason oh okay um one of my one of my anomaly abilities is I
42:31
can actually transport myself into artwork um or paintings or pictures or
42:37
things like that it's called site or site visit so I can actually go there as if it was a real place and actually
42:43
speak to the inhabitants so if there's a painting with like a person or a
42:49
reproduction of like sir rots the picnic or whatever um in theory if I can get
42:56
everybody distracted I can try to put myself into it and ask them what happened you know what uh yeah
43:04
there is one it's uh you know that famous black velvet uh painting of dogs playing poker yes there is there is one
43:10
except it's only two dogs and they're playing Blackjack uh yes that painting is hanging up uh you can try to use your
43:16
site visit power so this is our first use of a role in this game uh rolls and triangle agency fairly easy to uh figure
43:24
out they are always 6 D4 uh uh which uh and you have a stat that you are rolling
43:30
with a quality assurance which in this case is ATT attentiveness now do you
43:37
have any uh you don't have any qas in attentiveness correct so this does mean that you'll be rolling with one burn out
43:43
and I'll explain what that is after you roll but go ahead and roll 64 and you're looking for as many threes
43:48
as you can I have four threes okay so uh okay so you have four threes since you
43:56
don't have since you have anything in a tenness one of those threes becomes not a three but this actually works out for
44:02
you because what you have now rolled is three threes uh which not a tricc sence because it wasn't a natural 33 which is
44:08
what this game calls a crit but it does mean that your role works and generates no chaos chaos is a think of it as a
44:15
token that I get to use to do funny abilities with uh you generate one from the burnout but none from the role
44:21
itself so you succeed um you get to do the honest success and you get to do the
44:28
on every third three uh I think twice cuz you get one for just oh no once cuz
44:33
you got a yeah so uh go ahead and read your ability and tell me what you're doing uh well so first what I'm going to
44:40
do is would anybody like to join me you've probably seen Terrence do this a couple times before where he like very
44:47
much focuses on like a painting and you can see his his eyes get a little red
44:52
like they glow a little red and his shadow gets a little elongated um if if anybody would like to join me all they
44:58
have to do is put their hand on my shoulder I would like yeah goe I I would like to take this I like I can kind of
45:05
see that Terren is doing something so I'd like to start up a conversation with the bartender we've done a million times
45:11
before I was hoping for this thank you so how long has this place been here do you have any specialty drinks and just
45:18
kind of go on with a constant stream of chatter and I'll order a drink just whatever it takes to keep him engaged in
45:24
this conversation yeah this is actually perfect because as the agency will remind you use of anomalous power so
45:30
people can witness it creates loose ends and loose ends are bad but no one who uh
45:35
none if all six of you had disappeared we'd have a few loose ends but if only one of you maybe wanders out of
45:41
everyone's line of vision and disappears into a painting while the bartender the person paying the most attention to you is distracted I think you're good um so
45:49
we'll cover uh we'll do so you get your uh drink um whatever the bar doesn't
45:55
really have a specialty but he makes you a very nice uh a uh it's a it's sort of
46:01
specialty gen tonic instead of regular oranges uses uh hints of blood orange in it um it's it's an interesting flavor um
46:09
meanwhile Terren yeah the waya into the painting yeah and the way that it looks
46:14
because uh because I got the uh the every third three uh is I am a dog
46:20
playing poker so I basically turn into a corgi dressed exactly the same as Terrence was uh but like I in the
46:27
painting now as a corgi playing poker with these amazing yep so anyone else looking at
46:32
the painting now sees a third dog in the painting uh Terren is inside it with two other dogs uh playing card games and
46:39
they kind of look at you and go oh where'd you come from oh well I'm just uh decided to pop in and and hopefully
46:45
you don't mind wanted to uh ask you a few questions and I kind of point out uh because from our perspective the bar is
46:52
the painting right yes uh yeah there is a there's a painting hanging on the wall of two Jack's tavern with uh the with uh
47:00
a bunch of humans depicted in it currently talking to a bartender uh I just wanted to know did
47:06
you notice anything strange uh with the painting a couple weeks ago the bartender did did anything happen before
47:13
he he passed away they said the the kind of oh yeah the the one who's not yeah
47:19
that's so weird that that Chang that painting's been you the same forever uh yeah the um and they basically tell you
47:26
that he was uh there late one night uh he was working on um he was he was
47:32
working on trying to get something uh with the speaker system they said they're not sure why he was running the
47:37
bar speaker system that late like everyone was gone um and he kept fiddling with the base on it like he was
47:43
trying to you know he was he was trying to get some sound right he he'd listen he'd listen to it inside he'd kind of
47:49
Nod he'd go outside he come back in he kind of shake his head and he's like no that's still too loud out there and then
47:55
he'd adjust a little more and he's trying to BAS you know and they said we're not sure what he was doing but then at one point he was behind the bar
48:01
and he kind of he he was having uh a root beer to drink and we saw something
48:08
like we don't really know something that almost just looked like a bunch of wires uh kind of almost appeared out of
48:16
nowhere uh and wrapped itself around him and it looked like he was screaming but
48:21
uh you know that's that's the last time we saw him well I thank you very much for your
48:27
time uh and I hope you enjoy your game thank you so very much sure uh you sure
48:33
you don't want us to deal you in oh I couldn't possibly uh uh and then you
48:38
just see uh like he pulls out a couple cards from his sleeves it wouldn't be right
48:44
um and he just kind of stands up gives him a little bit bwing and then pops back out of the painting uh yeah yep so
48:51
he uh he could brought brought a jack out with you uh that wouldn't be natural
48:56
I don't think right like it's not I don't know if that would count right because otherwise maybe it just it just said you
49:04
had to collect Jack while you're in the tree yeah then I absolutely would as I'm picking up the the cards that I pulled out of my sleeve I'd grab one of the Jacks from the table sure uh yeah
49:11
there's uh yeah there's one laying down right now uh that one of the dogs had and you pick up the Jack and you walk
49:17
out and they kind of go hey and then that's the last thing you hear as you exit the painting and when you guys if
49:23
anybody looks at the painting now it's interesting because when you went in it was just too dogs playing Blackjack now
49:28
one of the dogs uh only has one card in front of him and there's a couple scattered on the side of the table where no one is playing and both dogs are
49:34
looking directly at out of the painting as though they're looking at you and kind of barking but it's like it's
49:40
frozen in that way I'm doing this because the other on every 33 Joe didn't pick was when you leave this piece of
49:46
art is returned to its original condition it has changed uh when he went in uh so what's what's anybody else
49:53
doing case is just watching the entire time and the painting and the only line
49:59
that anyone can hear him say to himself is they're dogs and they're playing Blackjack and he Giggles to
50:06
himself they are in fact dogs playing Blackjack uh also I realized I missed something Liz you created a distraction
50:12
for uh did you I did receive accomodation it's almost like lizz's
50:18
character and mine are built to play off each other a little bit see that's working as a team yeah so um Wild was
50:27
doing that uh Liz you were talking to the bartender who you can he'll he'll tell you his name is Shar if anyone asks
50:33
um is there anything anybody else was doing including Louisa or anybody else um but well case is giggling at a
50:38
painting but anybody else while this is happening Tad was goingon to go straight back to the the bathroom to see if there
50:45
was any sort of uh you know back room office anything okay uh so there is
50:51
there are both a bathroom and there's also an office which is marked by a sign that clearly says office um you you try
50:56
to get to the bathroom and the uh the door is locked um and if he hears you kind of you know rattle the door uh St
51:03
will look over and go you need the uh you need the key to get in there because we gotta you know keep it clean ah sorry about that okay are you are you gonna
51:10
get the key or you g to pretend you okay so he'll hand you the key and he kind of leavs he says look uh keep your eyes
51:16
open in there I've seen I don't like bugs okay I know it's weird guy like me working in a DI bar anyway uh but I've
51:24
seen something in the bathroom that looks like a weird spider um it gives me it gives me the heebie jeebies man I
51:30
don't nobody wants a spider when they're in the bathroom but just just keep your eyes peeled don't get bit um I've I
51:35
haven't seen it like had on but like just be careful in they're okay and he hands you the key ah believe me I get
51:40
that I've heard a lot about that but it shouldn't bother me oh you're a braver man than I all right so you can take the
51:46
key which uh is you know just just an ordinary key with a little wooden tag hanging from it so two Jack's tavern and
51:52
you let yourself into the bathroom it is a uh just kind of a uh a single one
51:57
stall bathroom um it's got a you know some old school graffiti on the wall like what you would expect to see
52:02
written on the wall in a die bar bathroom um and what and so the contents
52:09
obviously graffiti toilet sink uh and in the corner what looks like a coiled set
52:14
of wires all right uh I guess I'll take a take a little bit of a closer look at the coiled set of wires it just seems
52:20
out of place for uh a bathroom that can't be too dry yep so you you approach
52:26
this it is it is kind of humid in here you know how bathrooms with old toilets are uh as you approach it this thing
52:31
almost coils up then and forms almost like a long limed spider like imagine a daddy long legs built out of stereo
52:39
wires um and it kind of raises two of its uh little arms towards you and kind
52:45
of snaps them towards you and it's it's you can see Sparks coming off this thing
52:51
is trying to electrocute you what do you do uh if it hasn't pinned me down I'm going to kind of make a quick back out
52:58
of the bathroom like I didn't ever enter in the first place okay um yeah you find
53:05
uh so you back out of the bathroom as fast as you can and you hear something like gently thumping on the door of the bathroom um and like Sharie looks over
53:13
at you and he kind of he sees you back out in a hurry and he kind of gives you this look like see I told
53:19
you uh yeah that's that's fascinating I'd be uh interested to know what species that is I'm going to take a
53:25
second and uh look at up here on this app that tells me what kind of insects or arachnids uh live in this area Okay
53:33
um ability are you just Consulting an app on your phone I'm pretending to yeah sure uh yeah you pull up your phone and
53:40
it's uh you know you find one of those you've got one of those little apps where you can take a picture of an animal and it kind of identifies it for
53:45
you um and you don't find anything uh it turns out that uh spiders made of stereo
53:53
wires are not a native species to this area um but then you don't have too much time to think about it because you kind of
53:59
you're a little crackling and you realize that it is trying to wiggle out from under the door uh in the it's
54:05
basically deforming its body to scoot out the crack under the door what do you want to do uh I'm going to try to alert
54:11
the rest of the team by kind of giving a loud like here uh so that I can so I can
54:17
get some help here but uh I suppose I'll try to open the door and kick it back in okay uh okay so rest of the team you Tad
54:26
kind of make a weird strangled noise as he comes out of the bathroom and hurry and then he opens the door again and
54:33
kicks something back into it what is everyone what is everyone doing i' I do have a question go ahead how many other
54:39
people are in this room I know you said the bartender and couple of people but yeah me uh let me see there are there
54:47
are three other people here how appropriate uh just kind of sitting at the table um Tad's quick exit has drawn
54:54
the attention of none of them as it turns out like I said Sharie saw him come out he is convinced that Tad saw
55:01
the weird spider he warned him about but none of the patron the patrons are all kind of facing away um there's one who's
55:07
kind of in the corner playing a video poker machine um the other two are pretty focused on their drinks or they're looking at their phones they're
55:13
not paying any attention to Tad right now did any of us kind of see the spider or just watched him kick something I
55:19
would say just because of how low it is to the ground and because of the tables in your way you saw him you probably saw
55:24
him kick something but you didn't see what he was kicking at um but he did seem kind of alarmed and was trying to
55:31
Signal all of you Cas is just going to go over to Tad and uh ask I'll ask him
55:37
what what is going on back here uh yeah we've got something going on in the bathroom which uh is definitely related
55:44
to whatever we're here for uh seems to be some kind of electrical wire creature
55:50
yeah you can hear it kind of uh like it it's you kicked it back in and you shut the door but you can once again see its
55:55
little little little 3 and 12 mm Jack legs are kind of trying to sneak out under the door again it's trying to it
56:02
it's it it would have electrocuted your shoe if your shoe was able to conduct electricity oh this is kind of Spark
56:08
It's kind of sparking at your shoes is there anything else like in this area to help keep the door shut for now or are
56:15
we just holding it back or holding door uh it's it's not opening the door like the door is shut you guys can lock it's
56:21
it's there's a gap under the door and it's it's uh it's made of wires it's trying to sneak out underneath it I
56:27
think I'm going to wander well I'm going to wander over and uh as this thing is trying to uh wiggle its way out I'm
56:35
going to lean down uh and take a packet of sugar out of my pocket and blow it on
56:41
it and try to do nap time yes uh nap time says blow a pinch
56:46
of sand sugar counts just fine and roll subtlety uh you kind of hear Sharie leaning back and go one at a time in the
56:52
bathroom guys um and then you lean down and you blow sand of this thing Joe roll 64 for me okay now this I have what is
57:00
it three in subtlety so I forget does that do anything uh what it is is you don't have so you don't roll with
57:06
burnout because you still have subtlety and you still have subtlety quality assurances um and on this roll if you
57:12
want to turn non threes into threes you can spend your subtleties one one for
57:18
one to turn a non-re into a three then I am going to spend one to turn one non3
57:25
into a three to give me 33 okay hold on before he does that is there a clock in the bar uh yeah there's almost
57:31
definitely a clock in the bar okay uh case sees that uh terce is trying to do
57:36
nap time and immediately runs over to the clock and punches it to activate
57:44
overclock and so it's all these PE you just see
57:51
one guy walk over to the bathroom and then immediately run out and just jump and punch the only half workking clock
57:58
and what it does is when you are an ally rolls an a nominally ability other than this one after seeing the result punch a
58:04
clock and roll initiative on a success you'll send the target back in time to assist themselves allowing them to use
58:09
the same ability a second time with an identical number of Threes this second use can affect new targets and does not
58:16
generate chaos or Transcendence effects so oh so what would that so what would
58:21
that do then in this case how do that how would that work then so what'll so what will happen uh give yourself a QA back you rolled two what will happen is
58:28
if Nick succeeds at this you will have you will have rolled four instead um and then uh the second ones
58:36
don't generate any uh chaos so you would still gener you would generate the normal number of chaos but you wouldn't uh have to spend any QA and then I would
58:43
get the additional three stuff right so I would get the the the threes and then the I would get the success and then the
58:48
additional three effects too then at that point right yes you would sweet and depending on how and depending on how
58:53
well Nick succeeds you may get extra three um I will add this will definitely create Loose Ends because Nick just
59:00
Sprints across the room jumps up and punches the clock which is just the clock hanging on the wall so they can
59:05
point at it and go it's 2:30 get out uh so uh I will note that this will
59:11
make a few loose ends but Nick go ahead and roll oh well it's four threes four
59:17
threes yeah okay that's fine that gives me two chaos uh that is success for you
59:23
and also you hit the add the one additional threes so another so Joe what happens is the second copy of you you
59:29
almost see you almost see like a ghostly version of you appear and blow a second pack of sugar at the thing and you now
59:36
have rolled a total of five threes oh which uh so that only yields one chaos
59:42
total because it's five on a roll of six and you get uh unfortunately yeah you
59:48
you get nap time and you get an additional three effect yeah so uh this thing is going to go to sleep and it's
59:54
going to go to sleep for an additional hour okay unless I see more than one of it then there'll be an additional Target
1:00:00
yep you you just see the one um and it's little like I said it had been kind of sticking its little wires under the door
1:00:06
and trying to spark and then just kind of goes and you just see them fall flat on the floor and it just looks for all the world like a bundle of stereo wires
1:00:13
that's kind of sticking out front of the door Nick's action on the other hand uh case's little uh run and punch has
1:00:20
caught some attention uh you run across the bar everyone kind of looks up and you jump up punch the clock like and
1:00:26
that's our only working clock it was an hour slow you didn't set it ahead these people need to know the right time so
1:00:32
that they can schedule they're drinking accordingly what place are you running here but you punched you punched my
1:00:39
clock I'm fixing it look at it's fine everything's fine so I will note here
1:00:45
that it is definitely not fine but one thing that you have the ability to do as an agent is ask the agency to change
1:00:52
reality for you this sounds like you want to change reality so that the clock
1:00:57
is in fact fixed yeah okay well take up your 64 and then you're going to roll
1:01:03
with uh let me see which Q oh you're definitely lying so you're rolling 64
1:01:09
with duplicity so that means that if I don't have anything in there then I don't get any uh it means you will have
1:01:16
one burnout okay um but in this case um I was going to say uh you you have
1:01:23
because you're pursued you have a thing called a burnout release called wasn't me when you're doing something that will
1:01:28
cover Your Tracks ignore all burnout this is definitely you attempting to cover your tracks for doing whatever you
1:01:34
just did so I'm going to say in this case that applies and you can ignore the burnout so just roll 64 and we'll see
1:01:41
what happens oh yeah that is damn uh wait quick clarifying question we're
1:01:48
only counting threes like as they are nothing above threes right it's like four fours are useless fours are also
1:01:55
yeah you're strict so for successes you're strictly counting your threes okay uh 1 three okay it's enough to be a
1:02:03
success but it generates a whole bunch of chaos uh and so you punch this clock
1:02:09
and you guys are yelling and you tell them that hey I was just fixing your clock so it be the right time and you
1:02:14
show him the clock and sure enough it is not damaged it is um it is in fact you
1:02:20
you you did some percussive maintenance on it and it is in fact uh it is in fact
1:02:25
fact an hour ahead which is in fact the right [Music]
