This week's podcast kicked off with the discussion that has been pinging around the World of Warcraft community this week: a GM cheating so a streamer could clear a M+23 dungeon on time. Though we all had Opinions on that one, we quickly forged ahead to happier topics, including the newly released launch date for patch 12.1 and season 2 of Midnight. That's right kids, it's time to grab your coat and move to the exits on season 1. We also issued a warning that spoilers for patch 12.1 are being datamined, even if in a slightly weird format that probably won't end up in the game. Then, we had the announcement of the BlizzCon digital bundles and a new Hearthstone Battlegrounds season to unwrap like a gift on Christmas morning.
And speaking of unflagging optimism, Cory was our guest host this week, so it was time for another Heroes of the Storm Hopium Corner.

Hello everybody and welcome to the
0:12
Blizzard Watch. I don't know why I
0:14
suddenly sound like this. I'm Matt. I'm
0:16
hosting with me this week are my
0:18
fantastic co-hosts. Uh going to
0:20
introduce him first because he's
0:22
literally the person who manages to
0:24
believe when literally everybody else is
0:26
like looking at him going, "Please stop
0:28
believing." And he won't he won't stop
0:30
believing. He is the journey of Heroes
0:32
of the Storm. He is Corey. Hello, Corey.
0:35
>> Hello. It's going to come back, guys,
0:37
any day now. I swear.
0:39
>> Uh, with us besides Corey is Liz Harper,
0:41
the editor-inchief and person who always
0:44
tries to light Corey up in various
0:46
comments and ways to send [laughter] him
0:47
up to. So, Liz, hello.
0:50
>> Howdy.
0:51
>> Are you feeling rested after that half
0:53
an hour of me [laughter]
0:55
comic books?
0:56
>> Uh, no. No, because I I have to sit here
0:58
and stream and pay at least some amount
1:00
of attention to what's going on in case
1:02
I'm required.
1:03
>> You're always required. Uh, also with
1:05
us, another person who's always
1:07
required, Joe, who can argue with me
1:10
about whether or not the Miles Morales
1:12
got enough comics in his original run,
1:15
uh, Joe Perez.
1:16
>> Hi. Joe's actually probably the expert
1:19
on that, uh, more so than I am. I I
1:21
liked Miles, but I didn't read every
1:23
issue. So,
1:24
>> I Yeah, probably. But that's not what
1:26
we're here to talk about, is it?
1:28
>> No, it is not. We are here to talk about
1:29
various things, including good old World
1:32
of Warcraft. And um
1:34
>> World Warcraft.
1:36
>> I know it's strange. Uh we did spend a
1:38
lot of time not talking about it on the
1:40
pre-show, but that's how the pre-show
1:41
works.
1:42
>> Um but yeah, let's talk about this this
1:45
whole incredible deal that I heard about
1:48
last week when I was writing the queue,
1:50
and I I touched on it briefly just
1:52
because I I didn't know anything about
1:54
it. People were like, "This is
1:55
happening." I was like, "Oh." So, um,
1:58
basically, it seems that a a QA
2:01
developer who worked at Blizzard was
2:03
helping people kill raid bosses. So,
2:06
like it was a mythic. It was mythic plus
2:08
23. So, not raid bosses, dungeon bosses,
2:11
but at at M23 is a pretty high level for
2:14
mythics. And he was death touching uh
2:17
things so that they could get the kill
2:18
faster and move on. Um,
2:21
>> and now he's been fired, which
2:24
deserve so
2:27
he he abused his power and privilege and
2:29
as a result has paid the consequences of
2:31
that abuse.
2:32
>> I hear Liz. Uh go ahead, Liz.
2:34
>> I I mean uh the thing is it was logged.
2:38
It was posted to Warcraft logs
2:41
uh with with this information. It's
2:44
there's no way you're going to get away
2:47
with this. It's so nuts that
2:50
>> Yeah. But the the best
2:51
>> they even thought about this.
2:53
>> He didn't know he was being logged
2:54
because they the person logging was the
2:56
random pug tank that they picked up for
2:59
the week.
2:59
>> Yeah. For their for their
3:00
>> pugging they're pugging M23, which I
3:02
guess people tell me this happens all
3:03
the time. And I was like really? Uh I
3:06
did not know that. But the idea that you
3:08
know a pug tank is there and he's just
3:10
logging because he wants to see what he
3:12
does and get better at tanking. He
3:14
doesn't even know that they're doing
3:16
this. You know, he has no idea. No, the
3:19
pug tank is very much a precious flower
3:20
and is no part of the the sleeves of the
3:23
whole thing and should be applauded for
3:26
being a bear.
3:26
>> I mean, I don't care what I mean, he
3:29
could have been anything. He could have
3:30
been a monk. He could have been a a
3:31
demon hunter. He could have
3:33
>> No, no, no. If he was a demon hunter, he
3:34
can be, you know, sent out with the
3:36
trash with the rest of them.
3:38
>> As a bear, what what class he is, except
3:41
he was a warrior, then I'd be like, why
3:43
are you pugging, man? Um, but
3:45
regardless, I just feel like the whole
3:47
thing, it's on the one hand, I I feel
3:49
like cheating in a video game where none
3:51
of this is going to matter in a year
3:53
doesn't hurt me as badly as other
3:56
things. Like, I don't get tremendously
3:57
outraged about it.
3:58
>> Oh, Matt, it's so much worse than that.
4:00
>> It is worse than that. That's the thing.
4:02
>> It is worse. It's not that it doesn't
4:04
matter in a year. It's that it didn't
4:05
matter now. None of the players in that
4:07
dungeon were going to get any ranking
4:09
from this. This was not a make or break
4:11
for your season rank kind of situation.
4:13
And this was a 23 they just didn't want
4:15
to fail and redo
4:17
>> because they didn't want to lose their
4:18
their key basically.
4:20
>> No, they could have gotten back there.
4:21
They they were close enough to it that
4:23
they had the the power and the skill to
4:25
make it happen. They just
4:26
>> the whole thing just seems so someone
4:29
lost their job over it. This is just
4:30
ridiculous.
4:31
>> Well, at least the guy who lost his job
4:33
over it is the guy who was doing it.
4:35
>> Well, yeah.
4:36
>> Yeah.
4:37
>> Joe, I believe you do more Mythic Plus
4:40
than the rest of us. What do you think
4:41
about this? I think that it was probably
4:44
something that was inevitably going to
4:46
happen because if he did it once,
4:47
there's nothing saying he didn't do it
4:48
before. And I will say that everything
4:52
GMs or people that have access to the
4:55
game can do is logged. None of that
4:58
stuff is anonymous. So if he lost his
5:01
job over it, I guarantee you this isn't
5:03
the only time that they found an
5:04
instance of him doing something like
5:06
this.
5:08
Um, so because it's not just the optics
5:11
of it because they would we've seen
5:13
people make mistakes and we've seen them
5:16
like, okay, well, this person is going
5:18
to get moved or whatever the case is.
5:20
Um, but when something like this,
5:22
there's probably a history of them doing
5:25
this. Uh, and it bites. Like it is awful
5:29
to to like hear that this is happening
5:32
because then people who do keys and do
5:35
those mythic pluses and try to push them
5:37
as far as they go. Now suddenly
5:39
everybody's under scrutiny. if you time
5:42
a 23 and you know now everybody's going
5:46
to be looking at you like okay well
5:47
let's go through your logs with a fine
5:49
tooth comb and everybody's like I've
5:51
heard this in the community people are
5:53
worried maybe not extensively so but
5:56
there is a level of worry about well how
5:59
far do you push and you know how do you
6:03
how do you deal with the inevitable
6:05
scrutiny that's going to come just from
6:07
doing a good job you know at this point
6:09
because this is so very public and the
6:12
following.
6:12
>> Now, there was an official response from
6:13
Blizzard that said that this was a
6:15
one-time occurrence and that they
6:16
stringently monitor all these logs. So,
6:18
even if it hadn't been something that
6:20
got highlighted in the community, this
6:23
lone GM uh would have been caught and
6:26
would have faced sanctions. It's just
6:28
that because this one random pug did log
6:32
the event. Yeah, I'm going to I'm going
6:34
to go out on a limb and say I don't know
6:35
that that's necessarily true that they
6:37
would be found because it's auditing.
6:40
Auditing is not necessarily an automatic
6:43
thing. And
6:44
>> I mean it's what they log it, but it's
6:46
another thing to say that then someone
6:47
comes and looks at all the log. The logs
6:49
exist so that when news comes back, they
6:52
can go through and look at the log. It's
6:54
[snorts]
6:54
>> I mean I know that they have somewhat
6:56
some things they have are automated in
6:58
this regard. Not in terms of
6:59
>> well there's some automated things that
7:03
happen.
7:04
>> I'm sure I'm sure
7:05
>> you can't automate everything.
7:06
>> Yeah, I'm sure there's stuff that causes
7:08
flags for review and stuff like that,
7:10
but the kill command I don't think is
7:12
one of them. And the reason I say that
7:13
is because there have been several
7:14
instances throughout the history of my
7:17
career in WoW where I've had some random
7:20
occurrences and it happened going back
7:22
as far as vanilla. I'm not saying that
7:24
this is, you know, it happens
7:26
frequently, but when I was doing the uh
7:29
the hunter uh epic quest for the bow and
7:32
I had to go kill a demon, like I had to
7:34
go kill the four demons. I killed one of
7:36
the demons and the demon bugged out and
7:38
would not die. And so it was eternally
7:41
at one hit point. I had to put a ticket
7:43
in because it wouldn't die. It wouldn't
7:45
respawn. Nothing would happen for it.
7:47
and the GM came along, saw that, you
7:50
know, it had been down to one hit point
7:52
and just killed it. And this has
7:54
happened a couple other times with
7:56
random stuff in the game where like for
8:00
whatever reason a mob will be stuck in
8:02
this infinite like loop and can't be
8:04
reset and then they will have to go and
8:07
kill them. So, I don't know that that
8:08
would necessarily throw up a red flag,
8:10
but to what Matt's saying and what I'm
8:12
saying is that once it's reported, they
8:14
go back and check the logs. Now, as far
8:16
as I'm saying it's a one-time uh event,
8:20
again, that could just be PR because
8:23
they're not going to sit there and say,
8:24
"Yeah, they're not going to say, "This
8:25
person did it 8,000 times." And, you
8:27
know, because then that's going to erode
8:29
all confidence in uh GMs and their
8:33
support. Go ahead, Matt.
8:34
>> I will just point out that when I read
8:35
the article, the thing Blizzard says is
8:37
not that one guy did it one time. They
8:40
said it was limited to one person and
8:42
his activity. So he could have done it a
8:45
bunch of times. They didn't comment on
8:47
that. It was very very
8:49
>> nor can they for legal reasons.
8:51
>> Yeah, exactly. They don't they what if
8:53
this goes to any kind of legal action
8:56
and I'm not saying it will. I'm not
8:57
saying it will. I don't know. Uh that's
9:00
GM might sue. Blizzard might sue him. I
9:02
don't know. But if it does, the first
9:05
thing your lawyers are going to say is,
9:07
"And then you said what?"
9:09
>> Mhm. M like and a big publicly traded
9:11
corporation like the Microsoft umbrella
9:14
that that owns all these companies has
9:17
lawyers. Like the only place has scarier
9:20
lawyers than Microsoft is either Google
9:22
or Disney.
9:23
>> I want to know
9:25
>> Nintendo's lawyers aren't as scary.
9:27
They're just faster.
9:29
>> I also I will say this. I've been sued
9:31
by Marvel before they were owned by
9:33
Disney. I don't want to know what that
9:34
looks like after they're owned by
9:35
Disney. No thank you.
9:36
>> Yeah. No. No. Uh Disney is like
9:39
literally a kaiju rampaging through
9:42
places. Um, but regardless, the point
9:44
being, you know, nobody like there's
9:47
going to be stuff that happens that
9:49
you're not going to hear about even when
9:50
they're trying to be transparent because
9:52
they don't want people to feel like
9:53
they're not taking action. But they
9:56
literally cannot for legal reasons open
9:59
themselves up to that kind of liability
10:00
because that's bad for the share prices
10:03
and you're legally required to keep
10:06
those share prices as high as possible.
10:09
And there's a whole ton of that kind of
10:11
like back and forth on it. And I I
10:13
that's one of the reasons that I feel
10:14
like it's less important in terms of oh
10:16
game balance and people you know must
10:19
the sanctity of mythic plus progression
10:21
and it's more important for you know
10:23
people being involved that didn't want
10:27
to be like that tank who had no idea
10:29
this was happening and just logged it. I
10:32
mean he wasn't gonna if he'd been one of
10:34
the people in on it he wouldn't have
10:35
logged it. You know what I mean? It
10:37
wouldn't have gone to to like any other
10:39
off sites. That's the whole point of
10:41
committing like a, you know, cheating is
10:43
you don't then immediately put it out
10:45
publicly.
10:46
>> Regardless, it's it's really messed up.
10:49
It's messed up that they felt they
10:50
needed to do it. Go ahead.
10:51
>> And I do want to point out that like
10:52
that tank took a lot of heat from a lot
10:55
of misguided people in the community
10:57
>> who went after like started going after
11:00
him.
11:01
>> Uh, you know, why did you log it? Why
11:03
did you report it? And he wasn't even
11:04
the one that reported it. It was
11:06
literally
11:07
>> he just had an auto logger. It was just
11:08
part of his
11:10
mod pack
11:11
>> and somebody was looking at it because
11:12
they were looking at because and I know
11:14
that we do this too when we're looking
11:16
at like progression and stuff like that.
11:17
We'll look at people at similar eye
11:19
level in composition to like see what
11:22
spells were used and how often and stuff
11:24
like that to see what you know what
11:25
advantages or or disadvantages like we
11:28
can get. And if you just notice
11:30
something weird like that which is
11:31
that's what happened where it's like oh
11:33
this guy was at this much health and
11:34
then dead immediately. That seems weird.
11:37
Uh and like a lot of health. It wasn't
11:40
like he was killed from 90% to zero. It
11:42
was just a teeny bit near the end.
11:45
>> It doesn't just
11:48
>> Well, they were definitely going to miss
11:50
the timer. Like it was
11:52
>> this was in order to get them through it
11:55
on time, but it wasn't like they just
11:58
went walked up to a boss with 100%
12:00
health and the the GM was sitting in the
12:01
background with a big hammer ready to
12:03
hit it.
12:05
It also it also highlights sort of the
12:07
danger of uh parasocial relationship I
12:11
guess would be the best way to put it
12:12
and [clears throat] here we are talking
12:13
about this and you know [laughter]
12:16
>> but there's no just because you work at
12:19
a game company or you have an important
12:21
position or a position with power does
12:23
not make you immune to it and that was
12:25
also part of it too like the GM did it
12:28
as helping out one of their favorite
12:30
streamers essentially and
12:32
>> yeah that that in and of itself is just
12:35
dangerous. And I feel bad for the GM
12:37
because like a little bit I'm not I'm
12:40
not excusing the actions, but it's like
12:42
to to have that sort of parasocial
12:44
relationship and then have that fed upon
12:46
so much that you feel like you're you're
12:48
doing this for a friend, that's
12:51
dangerous. And yeah, it's just a stark
12:54
reminder to, you know, for all of us,
12:57
make, you know, parasocial
12:59
relationships, keep them in check a
13:00
little bit. like [laughter] take a step
13:02
back and take a look at them. Uh cuz
13:04
>> it's like the people who who donate a
13:06
100 gift subs to a streamer and the
13:08
streamer just goes, "Hey, thanks."
13:10
>> And and I've said and I've said this
13:12
before and this is for other content
13:13
creators and everything out there. We
13:15
have a responsibility to be cognizant of
13:17
that as well, right? Like there's
13:19
there's been times in my past where I've
13:21
had people uh not from this podcast but
13:23
other podcasts um you know like find out
13:26
where I live and you know think I'm like
13:29
their best friend uh or I've had people
13:33
at the one Blizzcon come up to me and
13:36
did not have a picture of me beforehand
13:37
found out who I was to throw a drink in
13:40
my face because I was the worst thing to
13:42
happen to shaman. So like it is
13:44
something that it is it is also
13:46
partially our responsibility to uh
13:49
understand the power of that parasocial
13:51
relation.
13:51
>> Yeah. And it's really bad because you
13:53
weren't even the worst thing that
13:54
happened to shamans. I was
13:55
>> well I was a third I was a third in line
13:57
for that. Don't forget there was there
13:58
was
13:59
>> Oh yeah. I was number two. Um
14:02
>> I still think that was the day that that
14:03
was the day that Sacko came up to me and
14:04
said, "Congratulations, you've made it
14:05
as a writer." [laughter]
14:07
>> That that was really that was really the
14:09
bar over Wow. Insider. You know, when
14:12
you became the worst thing on the site,
14:14
that was like, you've made it. Someone
14:16
cares enough about your writing to think
14:19
you are the worst.
14:21
>> Yep. And that happened so many times for
14:23
me that I'm a little sad. Uh, but we
14:26
should move on because we've talked
14:27
about this quite a bit. And so, the next
14:29
thing to talk about is we now have the
14:30
official launch. I think we've had, have
14:32
[laughter] we had the official launch
14:33
before?
14:34
>> This was just announced.
14:35
>> So, we're going to have WoW patch 2.1.
14:39
They on August 11th.
14:40
>> 12.1. Oh, did I not say 12?
14:42
>> You said 2.1.
14:42
>> 2.1 is a different patch.
14:44
>> That's a long time. [laughter]
14:46
>> Whoa, it's 2007. Yikes. Um,
14:49
>> I mean, it is burning for say time
14:50
blocking.
14:51
>> Yeah, 12.1. Uh, that's going to be on
14:53
August 11th. And then on August 18th,
14:56
one week later, we're going to see the
14:57
launch of Midnight Season 2. Um, because
15:00
we're going to get a new raid and new,
15:02
you know, heroic mythics to run to
15:04
heroic. Uh, a whole bunch of stuff is
15:06
coming and that's going to be
15:08
>> that's pretty much woow for the next
15:10
couple of weeks at least. I mean, from
15:12
the from the 11th on, you're going to
15:13
get at least a month or so of content
15:15
and people doing that content before
15:17
then, you know, we start worrying about
15:19
yet more stuff.
15:20
>> Big patch. It's a big patch.
15:22
>> Yeah. I mean, talk about that.
15:24
>> We should go ahead and throw up some
15:26
stuff. [snorts]
15:27
>> We should talk about the dates because
15:29
the dates are brand new. Um, so yeah,
15:32
August 11th, we're going to get the
15:34
heroic and mythic dungeon difficulties
15:36
for the new dungeon rotation, which is
15:38
Alter Fangs, brand new dungeon, Murder
15:40
Road, Den of Narak, Blinding Veil, Void
15:43
Scar Arena, King's Rest, Temple of Seth,
15:46
Sethus, and the Ruby Life Pools. Ruby
15:49
Life Pools feels like a we really
15:51
strange addition to me, but maybe that's
15:52
maybe that's just me.
15:54
>> Couldn't find one more troll dungeon to
15:56
put in.
15:56
>> I actually really like it as an addition
15:58
because it's a fun dungeon to run in
15:59
Mythic, I think. I mean, it just seems
16:02
it seems like they do so much of this
16:03
thematically and that just seems odd
16:06
thematically. So,
16:09
it's fine. It's fine. We are getting a
16:11
new layer boss in the tidebound grotto.
16:14
Well, I say new layer boss, but this is
16:16
our first layer boss.
16:18
>> Technically, it's like a world boss that
16:19
is now a layer boss.
16:21
>> It's a world boss that is instanced.
16:23
>> Yeah.
16:24
>> Um, the tidebound grotto will be
16:26
available in normal, heroic, and mythic
16:28
difficulties. How is this different from
16:30
a one boss raid? No,
16:32
>> it may not be tremendously different
16:34
from from a one boss raid, but if since
16:35
it's we know it's a world boss, world
16:37
bosses only drop one level of gear.
16:40
>> Well, except it's except it's available
16:42
on three difficulties. So, I
16:44
>> That's my point. It's that maybe now you
16:46
can get better gear if you do the higher
16:48
difficulty, which you couldn't do when
16:49
it's an open world thing.
16:50
>> Yeah. At which point it's like, okay,
16:52
this is a one boss raid, but we'll we'll
16:54
see. We'll see. I I like the idea of
16:57
instancing them and it'll probably help
16:59
with lag issues and some the kinds of
17:02
issues you can have with having an openw
17:04
world huge boss encounter. Um, so I
17:08
think that's a positive. We're going to
17:09
get Prey season 2 with normal and hard
17:11
modes only. We'll get Delve season 2.
17:14
You can play all tiers of delves but no
17:17
bountiful delves yet. The next week on
17:19
August 18th, season 2 officially starts.
17:22
Mythic plus dungeons launch. The Great
17:25
Vault will start feeding you season 2
17:27
gear, which is significantly higher eye
17:28
level. We have the new Venomous Abyss
17:32
Raid in normal heroic mythic and
17:34
raidfinder wing 1, Delves season 2 with
17:38
bountiful delves and keys to unlock
17:40
those bountiful delves and Prey season 2
17:43
nightmare mode and curse of the aisle
17:46
which I think is something new on the
17:48
coiled isle which is our new zone. Then
17:51
on August 25th, a week later, we will
17:53
get Venomous Abyss, Raidfinder Wing 2,
17:55
and Story Mode. So everyone, even if you
17:58
don't want to deal with raids or LFR,
18:00
you can do Venomous Abyss on story mode.
18:03
And the two weeks after that, we'll get
18:05
Raid Winger, raid finder, wing three,
18:09
and wing four. Just everything they roll
18:12
out week at a time. I'm so glad they've
18:14
gone to this week at a time schedule and
18:16
they're sticking to it because it used
18:18
to take forever for Raidfinder to roll
18:21
out.
18:21
>> Yeah, I'm also very happy that you said
18:24
uh Winger
18:25
>> and not not Rage Finger.
18:27
>> I I was I was Yeah,
18:29
>> avoid the Raid Finger at all costs,
18:31
guys. But yeah, that's there's a lot of
18:33
stuff coming and it will be coming at
18:35
least for most people uh up till August
18:38
18th and then we you know if you do
18:40
raidfinder you got some more Raidfinder
18:41
coming every week
18:43
>> and and there's just going to be a ton
18:44
of world content. But yeah, these are
18:46
all these are all the dates and the
18:47
things that are rolling out on these
18:49
dates. I mean, I'm looking forward to a
18:50
new raid and having a new raid to
18:52
explore. I'm not thrilled about a zone
18:56
full of snakes,
18:57
>> but
18:58
>> why is it got to be snakes? Why is it
19:00
got to be snakes? But it's
19:02
>> temple.
19:03
I mean, that seems interesting to tie
19:05
that into the all the snakes that we're
19:07
getting in other places. It's just
19:09
interesting in terms of
19:10
>> they also tweaked the last boss in
19:12
Temple of Sethis to fit to be a little
19:14
bit smoother for mythic plus runs.
19:16
>> Ah, that's good. That that fight did
19:19
make me cry, mate.
19:20
>> It was very annoying.
19:22
>> Yeah, it was it was hard to tag.
19:25
>> It was But regardless, yeah, that
19:26
there's a lot of stuff happening there,
19:28
so that's pretty cool. Um, we should
19:30
also mention the Burning Crusade
19:31
Classic. Uh, the anniversary edition
19:33
phase 3 is going to come out in August
19:35
as well on August 27th and it's going to
19:38
start with Black Temple and Mount Hyel
19:41
or is they just, you know, are those
19:43
eventuals phase three?
19:45
>> I'm not sure. Blizzard has not announced
19:48
a specific schedule for raid releases.
19:50
Usually they release raids like 2 days
19:54
after the patch, but they didn't they
19:57
haven't listed specific dates. So
19:59
>> the page that I have says that the BCC
20:01
anniversary edition gets Black Temple on
20:02
August.
20:03
>> The phase the the new phase is live and
20:05
they haven't said that the open.
20:08
>> It's much like a it's much like a like a
20:09
live patch or or like a retail patch,
20:11
right? Where the patch releases and then
20:14
there's a couple days or at least a
20:15
little bit of a lag time before the the
20:16
raid
20:17
>> typically.
20:19
>> But We don't have exact dates there. So,
20:22
>> there's apparently also like a final
20:24
surge of decor jewels. Um, which I I
20:27
think that's not that's not related to
20:30
the weekly event. Um,
20:31
>> no, this is this is more not a this is
20:33
not like a weekly event type thing. This
20:35
is more just this is announcing that
20:37
like all of this stuff is is happening
20:39
in like a quick succession, right? So
20:42
like we the the the we know that the uh
20:45
decor duel decor duels are uh coming to
20:49
an end and that the basically that's
20:52
going to be happening uh around the same
20:54
time. Uh so it's you know letting people
20:57
know that you have a little bit of time
20:59
to get through and do that but that's
21:01
going to be essentially done and and
21:03
over very very soon. Uh, and it's the
21:06
same warning that they give for the
21:08
season 2 rewards, uh, or sorry, season 1
21:11
rewards, uh, before season 2 comes out
21:14
because season 2 is on the goal for for,
21:17
uh, retail where, you know, you have the
21:20
the the midnight raids, the mythic plus
21:23
uh, dungeon season, uh, all the
21:26
different seasonal achievements that are
21:27
available right now, uh, which includes
21:29
stuff like uh, the Prey because Prey
21:32
season 2 will be coming out uh,
21:34
relatively
21:36
A lot of a lot of the rewards that are
21:39
specific to season one are going away.
21:41
>> Yeah.
21:43
>> This is your last chance for a number of
21:45
things.
21:45
>> Yeah.
21:46
>> I'd like to see the decor duels come
21:48
back on a rotation like time walking
21:50
does. Like every four months or 3
21:53
months, they do a week or two weeks of
21:55
decor. And then for those two weeks, the
21:58
people that want to play it and want to
21:59
have fun and playing prop hunt can get
22:01
their their fill. And then after that it
22:04
goes away again and if you want the
22:05
stuff you'll have to wait another 3
22:06
months. I
22:07
>> mean it it always Blizzard didn't
22:10
originally I think we talked about this
22:12
last week but it's kind of a surprise
22:13
it's ending. It feels like an event that
22:15
would work really well as just a
22:16
recurring
22:17
>> Yeah. something especially as they keep
22:19
adding stuff and
22:21
>> I think focusing more now which is like
22:25
>> kind of an aside thing but we're getting
22:27
to the point where they're focusing more
22:28
on adding more stuff to housing making
22:31
it more robust which is great. Um, but
22:35
now that they know that they can do
22:36
decor or decor duels, getting housing
22:40
sustainable and where it needs to be
22:41
first to to make sure it it meets
22:43
expectations and then going back and
22:46
maybe doing seasons of decor duel or
22:49
decor duels. I think that's fine, right?
22:51
Like I think it I agree with you. I
22:53
think as as a you know spontaneous event
22:56
that's just not permanently there, I
22:58
think it's fine. Sorry, I have opinions
22:59
on on Decor DS. [laughter]
23:02
I I think it just fits in the same mold
23:04
as the the Plunderstorm stuff where
23:07
they've come up with this fun event
23:09
>> and it only works if it's a limited time
23:12
thing because you need a a certain
23:14
amount of people all playing it together
23:16
>> almost all at once.
23:17
>> I almost wish it was like its own
23:19
separate game mode though, like
23:20
Plunderm.
23:21
>> Well, yeah, but then it's it's still
23:22
going to go away. So, if they just found
23:24
a way to tie it in the game better and
23:26
then you could play it once every four
23:27
months. So, you could play it three
23:29
times a year for a week, I think it
23:31
would work fine. Like, you could you
23:32
could get your fill and you could earn
23:34
points towards whatever rewards are
23:36
there and then if you miss it, hey,
23:37
it'll be back in 4 months and try again.
23:40
You know, it which is exactly what this
23:43
kind of like rotational weekly event
23:45
should be a thing that you're not you're
23:48
never going to miss it entirely because
23:49
it will come back. But at the same time,
23:52
it's it needs the the press of bodies to
23:56
make it uh work properly.
23:58
>> And and I think part of the problem
23:59
though too, and part of my like I think
24:01
my visceral reaction when it first
24:02
released is that they never said it was
24:04
a limited time thing and now it is. So
24:08
now it's like
24:08
>> maybe they didn't know it was going to
24:10
be like,
24:11
>> yeah, but you got to know you're the one
24:14
making the game.
24:16
>> But they're not but they're not the ones
24:17
but they're not the ones making the
24:18
decision. And if a producer did not tell
24:21
them it was going to be a limited time
24:22
thing, well,
24:24
>> I mean, for all we know, they've got
24:26
they put it out there, they put it in
24:27
the game, then somebody from, you know,
24:29
higher, you know, somebody who's closer
24:31
to the money and less close to the
24:33
actual business of making games looked
24:36
at it and said, "This isn't, you know,
24:37
where's our our, you know, we're not
24:39
getting enough eyes on this. Enough
24:40
people aren't doing it all at once. It's
24:42
not generating continuous, you know,
24:45
interest. So, yeah, get rid of it." That
24:48
might be what happened. We don't know.
24:49
Uh
24:50
>> yeah. And but like if it's a thing that
24:52
every four months you could earn these
24:54
decor things and you could earn the the
24:56
weapon transmog or whatever it is, then
24:58
yeah, you would have the interest in it
25:00
for a week and
25:01
>> or for that matter. I mean also it might
25:03
be something that they bring back when
25:04
we're in the doldrums between
25:07
expansions.
25:08
>> You know
25:10
much content. Yeah, we haven't. That's
25:12
that's true. We haven't. Uh but at this
25:13
point I think we're going to move on
25:14
briefly to mention that there's been
25:16
some data min cinematic scripts and
25:18
we're not going to give you spoilers so
25:19
don't worry. Uh but I do want to point
25:22
out that we've we've been on this this
25:24
rodeo before. We've had cinematic
25:26
spoilers data min and everybody saw them
25:29
and then they didn't actually enter the
25:31
game. Uh that happened. One that always
25:33
comes to mind is is back in I think it
25:35
was Cataclysm, Ramath was revealed to be
25:38
a traitor
25:39
and you know he went off and he he
25:42
betrayed the Horde and he he joined up
25:44
and then the game got out and that
25:46
didn't happen. Ramath was like what? I'm
25:48
not betraying any why is everybody
25:49
looking at me? Uh yeah, so take that in
25:53
mind when you see spoilers for the end
25:55
of the upcoming raid which you will.
25:57
They're out there. There's cinematics
25:59
for it and everything. just is,
26:01
>> you know, be careful. I'm I'm not saying
26:04
No, it's all fully agree that it's out
26:07
there.
26:08
>> Yeah, it's it's more of a warning,
26:09
right? Like I put this in here
26:10
specifically because it's become a very
26:12
big talking point. Uh other content
26:14
creators are talking about it and
26:15
they're kind of going a lot deeper into
26:17
it than I think they really should. Um,
26:19
but it's one of those things where it's
26:21
a reminder that you are when you look at
26:24
data mind anything, you are seeing
26:26
things under the hood that was not meant
26:29
for player eyes. And sometimes that
26:31
includes stage direction, right? And
26:35
this has happened multiple times where
26:36
you've gotten bits of dialogue or bits
26:39
of scripting that were put into the like
26:43
the code for the developers who are
26:45
going to be working on this. So, as
26:46
they're going through the code and
26:48
looking at it, uh, which is
26:50
coincidentally tangentially related to
26:52
the game that Liz has been streaming. We
26:53
can talk about that later. Um, but when
26:57
you're looking in code, you can have
26:58
directions in there that don't actually
27:01
show in the game, but are literally
27:04
meant for the people making the stuff.
27:06
So, like it'll say so and you know, and
27:09
and XNPC looks at somebody like they
27:12
grew a third head out of their arm,
27:14
right? like or something along those
27:15
lines. And it's not meant for something
27:17
that actually happened in game. It's
27:19
something giving direction to the person
27:21
making the cinematic or using the engine
27:23
to make that cinematic on what it should
27:26
look like to give them a rough idea. And
27:29
it's often exaggerated. So, anytime you
27:32
go out of your way to look at data mind
27:34
anything, and it doesn't matter what it
27:35
is, but data mind anything that isn't
27:38
official patch notes released by the
27:40
company making the game, take it with a
27:42
grain of salt and understand that you
27:44
are not looking at anything that is
27:46
finalized and that this is something in
27:48
flight. Be very careful. You it's your
27:51
your mileage on anything you get in in
27:53
data mining anything is it's going to
27:57
vary just by its very nature. So yeah, I
28:00
I just wanted to add that in there
28:01
because again, it's going to be
28:02
something that's going to be making the
28:03
rounds and people are probably going to
28:04
hear about it a lot. Uh so be prepared.
28:07
>> Certainly.
28:08
>> Yeah.
28:09
>> I mean, I've been avoiding spoilers like
28:11
The Plague lately, and I get them.
28:13
>> I mean, I to be fair, I do also work on
28:16
a Laura podcast, so I tend to also go
28:18
out looking for lore at the same time.
28:20
So sometimes it's just the Janus headed
28:22
dichotomy of my existence. But
28:24
nevertheless, they're out there. And
28:26
also without spoiling anything, without
28:28
telling people any spoilers, some of the
28:30
notes, the [snorts] the cinematic notes
28:32
here are Leadin turns and looks turns
28:35
and looks at her with her eyes wide.
28:37
Dang girl, did you really say that?
28:39
>> Obviously, not going to make it into
28:41
game. [laughter]
28:43
>> This is like note to self.
28:45
>> Yes, exactly. Leadron's not going to go,
28:48
"Dang, girl." [laughter]
28:50
>> I have literally left.
28:51
>> Have you seen them? Like I say, "Dang,
28:53
girl." I I have left notes in code that
28:56
I have written that that literally says,
28:58
"Why can't I get this GD thing to work
29:00
the way I want it to? Why have you
29:02
forsaken me code gods and accidentally
29:04
left it into it when I reviewing it?"
29:06
And then having somebody in QA go,
29:09
that's funny. You should take that out.
29:12
[laughter]
29:13
But so yeah, that that is to be
29:15
considered. Uh again, I will point out a
29:17
lot of stuff that has appeared in no in
29:19
data mining information over the years
29:21
that did not happen for one reason or
29:23
another. Sometimes it just didn't
29:26
happen. Sometimes people reacted
29:28
negatively and they took it out.
29:30
Sometimes it it felt like they just, you
29:33
know, they they decided to go somewhere
29:34
else with it. Um one example is for a
29:37
long time the raids in in Wrath of the
29:40
Lich King were going to start they
29:41
weren't going to start with Nex Ramis.
29:43
Next wasn't going to be a raid. They had
29:45
two other locations that were going to
29:47
be raid dungeons. Um, one of them's I
29:50
want to say Gundra and the other is the
29:53
highest dungeon at that first spot in
29:56
the Howling Fjord. And I can never
29:58
remember its name now because I haven't
29:59
been there in years. But those two were
30:01
going to be the raid. And then, like I
30:04
said, halfway through they were like,
30:05
"Nope, we're going to put Nexamus in
30:07
instead. It makes sense to use Namas
30:09
again." So that happened. And as a
30:11
result, stuff that was data mined didn't
30:14
happen. And that happens because, you
30:17
know, this is a game that's being
30:18
developed whilst we're heading towards
30:21
the next content pack. Sometimes things
30:22
have to be caught. Sometimes things have
30:24
to be changed. Sometimes things are
30:26
changed just because they think it'll be
30:27
better. So, we covered all that. I think
30:29
we're good to move on to the BlizzCon
30:31
bundles. Um, they're going to have
30:33
digital stuff this time. I've seen the
30:35
one for Diablo. I haven't seen any of
30:39
the other ones. So, um, Liz or Joe, Joe
30:43
got to talk, so we'll say Liz, could you
30:45
go over this?
30:46
>> I mean, uh, yeah, these are the typical
30:48
bundles that Blizzard always puts out
30:51
there, cool digital goodies that are
30:54
celebrating Blizzcon. You know, you get
30:56
them for free with a Blizzcon ticket,
30:57
and call that free. Or you can buy them
31:00
if you do not have a Blizzcon ticket and
31:03
get stuff, all kinds of stuff. And we
31:06
do, we do love stuff, right? We like
31:09
stuff. I do like
31:11
>> Do you like Zalot and do you like
31:13
Murlocs? Because boy is there a bundle
31:15
for you.
31:15
>> I I gotta say I am not super excited by
31:19
these. They're doing it a little
31:21
differently this year in that you can
31:24
buy a specific game bundle.
31:27
>> You can buy a bundle for your favorite
31:28
game. I think all of those are kind of
31:30
bad values. They aren't great as far if
31:33
you're looking for the cash value of
31:35
your video game property. me. They're
31:38
kind of nah, but um there's also a big
31:43
$50 bundle of all of the things which
31:48
which has all of the things.
31:49
>> It's it's it's a good deal if you want a
31:53
couple of things. So, and also if you
31:55
buy the big bundle
31:56
>> collection,
31:57
>> the ultimate collection. Yes, if you buy
31:59
the big bundle, you also get some extra
32:02
things including Oh god, I can't even
32:05
say this. a a mount that is zalot as a
32:10
>> bunny rabbit.
32:11
>> Yes. I I I Wow, that was just hard to
32:15
say. That was that was tough.
32:17
>> I I would I would die happy if they got
32:19
Claudia Christian to come in and do
32:21
dialogue for the rabbit. [laughter]
32:24
>> Um so the
32:25
>> Oh, the rabbit needs to whisper to you.
32:27
Oh my god, it needs to absolutely
32:28
whisper to you.
32:29
>> That would make the $50 worth it right
32:31
there.
32:32
>> Yeah, it could
32:35
some cats.
32:36
>> The funny thing is that Rabbitath
32:38
actually already exists in Hearthstone
32:40
as an one of those super expensive
32:43
in-game pets. And so she but she's made
32:46
the leap. She's made the leap from
32:48
Hearthstone into World of Warcraft. And
32:50
>> I get it cuz rabbits jump. Ah,
32:53
[laughter]
32:56
>> I understand that, right? Or he says,
32:58
[laughter]
33:01
>> all I know is I have it in my head that
33:03
she's sitting there whispering to you,
33:04
but you will get me the Timothy hay.
33:06
[laughter]
33:07
>> Feed it to me, mortal.
33:09
>> Listen to the grinding of my teeth and
33:11
know I am displeased. That's the cutest
33:13
we've ever seen.
33:14
>> Oh, boy. Um,
33:16
>> I'm sorry, Liz. Continue, please.
33:18
>> Uh, okay. Uh, so Overwatch gets a May
33:23
skin of a Lich King skin. Lich Queen may
33:28
of course
33:29
>> and some associated cosmetics.
33:32
>> Diablo gets a very cool lion mount that
33:37
has special armor that has like a blue
33:40
glowing mane. It looks very cool. and
33:43
more importantly a ghost otter pet
33:46
because
33:48
>> I don't get what this has to do with
33:49
with Diablo, but
33:51
>> I don't know what either of these things
33:53
have to do with anything, but I, you
33:55
know, I kind of want a ghost otter. Who
33:58
wouldn't want a ghost otter to follow
34:00
them around and pick up loot for them?
34:02
>> What gets me about Diablo pets is some
34:04
of them are horrible and nightmarish,
34:05
and then you got ones like this that are
34:06
ridiculously cute.
34:07
>> Yeah. And there there are a lot of
34:08
puppies also.
34:10
>> Yeah. Yeah, I don't know.
34:10
>> Uh there's
34:11
>> I don't know.
34:12
>> Diablo Immortal gets
34:14
>> Diablo Immortal is the one that's
34:16
actually got some like real genuine cash
34:19
value because it does include things
34:21
like uh uh legendary crests which
34:25
empower your elder rifts to get you a
34:27
guaranteed chance of getting those
34:29
legendary gems which of course Diablo
34:31
Immortal has a lot of microtransactions.
34:34
Uh then we have Hearthstone. Hearthstone
34:37
has a signature card of uh Thalinos,
34:42
Blood Mage Thalinos, which is Blood Mage
34:45
Thalinos is the little black dress of
34:47
Hearthstone cards. This is just this is
34:49
the card you can put in any deck and it
34:52
will improve that deck. It doesn't
34:54
matter. You can just put Thallinos in
34:56
any deck and it's great. And it has uh
34:59
the signature cards are these great all
35:02
card art things. That's really cool. And
35:04
it comes with five packs and a special
35:06
card back. And I think I think Blizzard
35:10
values their signature cards a little
35:12
highly, but it does look cool. Um, and
35:16
yes, then we get these extra bonuses for
35:19
buying the entire bundle which includes
35:22
of course Mera Cazella.
35:25
>> Yeah, see Merket
35:27
>> again. And Claudia Christian has to come
35:29
back, but this time she has to do the,
35:30
you know,
35:33
it's Claudia Christian doing it like
35:35
trying to be like sound that that kind
35:37
of ironic, detached, and also somewhat
35:40
trying to seduce you to the power of
35:41
evil voice, but going
35:43
>> it's it's just terrifying. I think all
35:45
of these Zolotath cosmetics terrify me a
35:49
little bit. Uh so yes, if you buy the
35:51
whole bundle, you get Merketath Murloc
35:54
pet in World of Warcraft. Uh Lich King
35:57
May, you also get a player icon and name
36:00
card. And in Diablo I get in Indigo's
36:05
light and Indigo's master mount
36:07
trophies, which are kind of blue and
36:09
glowy. I don't know.
36:11
>> Okay, so the amount
36:13
>> the here's the problem I have. the
36:15
ultimate Blizzcon bundle which combines
36:18
everything and you get the little
36:19
extras. Merketath great reward like a a
36:23
battle pet with Merurloc Zealot.
36:26
Fantastic. It it can be used. I assume
36:29
it can pet battle although that's not a
36:31
given these days anymore.
36:32
>> That's not a given.
36:34
>> But it is a a standout premium kind of
36:38
reward. everything else in that bundle,
36:40
the ultimate Blizzcon bundle. Not quite
36:43
the same level of standout reward.
36:45
>> It's little stuff. It's So, you got an
36:48
icon and and for for Overwatch, you've
36:50
got a portrait frame for Diablo
36:52
Immortal. You've got a couple mount
36:53
trophies for Diablo I. You've got some
36:55
card packs, some more card packs for
36:57
Hearthstone. They're all kind of like,
36:59
okay, here's an extra thing. And then
37:02
you have a Zalot Murloc. I could I just
37:06
without a Zelat Murloc?
37:08
>> But Zelot Merurlock is the only reason
37:10
why I would want the the big bundle.
37:13
Everything else is so small and
37:15
incidental that it doesn't matter if I
37:16
have it or not because an icon in Diablo
37:19
Immortal is useless and an icon and
37:21
mount trophies in Diablo I are useless.
37:24
>> Mount and Diablo I aren't regarded.
37:26
>> Mounts mounts are great. mount trophies
37:29
small and sure they can complete the
37:32
look qu in quotes but I'm not jonesing
37:36
for that mount trophy. I've got 50 more
37:38
I could choose from.
37:39
>> Yeah, I do admit that that's not the one
37:41
for me.
37:41
>> The World of Warcraft one also a housing
37:44
decor item with us and a transmog set
37:46
with some golden wings and a golden
37:49
helmet which I'm pretty sure that's a
37:51
color of gold that will not match
37:52
anything I owned transmog with.
37:54
>> Every color gold is always not going to
37:56
match. They use a different color of
37:58
gold every single time
37:59
>> specifically to torment me. Um, if you
38:02
want to buy any of these bundles
38:03
individually, they are 20 most of them
38:06
are $29.99.
38:08
A couple of them are $25.99
38:11
and and uh the big big bundle, the
38:15
ultimate bundle is $49.99
38:18
or whatever that equates to in your if
38:21
you play enough of these. If you're
38:23
interested in more than one of these,
38:25
you just buy the big bundle. That's it.
38:27
That's it. Uh and I I'm pretty sure
38:29
that's what Blizzard wants you to do.
38:31
That's that's where they're aiming
38:33
there. So,
38:34
>> for comparison, the BlizzCon Ultimate
38:36
Collection is $62 Canadian and each
38:39
individual bundle is $37 Canadian
38:42
>> or except for the Diablo Immortal and
38:44
Hearthstone which are $31.
38:46
>> Oh, it's basically they just convert up.
38:48
>> Yeah.
38:48
>> Yeah.
38:49
>> But, um Go ahead, Liz. One one
38:52
interesting thing that is not in here
38:54
that I do want to point out is in the
38:56
past these digital bundles have included
38:59
access to live stream Blizzcon. That is
39:03
not here and it is not mentioned
39:05
anywhere. So we don't bring that up.
39:07
>> Yeah. Yeah.
39:10
>> Yeah. Does that just mean that it's a
39:12
given at this point and they're not
39:14
gatekeeping any kind of live streaming
39:16
from the the general public because
39:17
we're
39:18
>> we're six years past COVID and everyone
39:20
can stream things online reliably.
39:23
>> I have wondered about that but they
39:24
haven't said either way.
39:26
>> Joe,
39:26
>> what do you think, Joe?
39:28
>> So, yeah, I'm I'm really curious about
39:29
that because that being absent, I think
39:32
is I don't want to say suspect verbiage,
39:37
but it is something to take note of. Uh
39:40
because again in the past the bundle has
39:42
been streaming plus get these digital
39:44
things free or as part of your bundle
39:46
because you're paying for streaming and
39:49
then it's not here. And I don't think
39:52
it's a case of uh you just assume you're
39:56
going to get it. I I don't think that's
39:58
it because up until this point every
40:02
other time they very specifically said
40:04
it. So, I'm curious if we're going to
40:06
see closer to Blizzcon either a separate
40:10
streaming cost that you have to get on
40:13
top of this or if like Corey is saying,
40:16
they're just going to say it's free to
40:17
stream for everybody, which
40:19
>> yeah, we don't know.
40:20
>> I don't and and maybe this is me being I
40:23
I don't know. Like I I I I have a hard
40:26
time trusting that when it comes to this
40:28
>> because as they shown us in the past,
40:30
you pay for streaming BlizzCon. That's
40:34
just how it is.
40:35
>> Yeah, of course.
40:35
>> I I want to air on the side of optimism
40:38
and say that they're just going to
40:39
>> Well, yeah. You also think Heroes of the
40:40
Storm is coming back tomorrow. So, like
40:42
I mean this is that's just on brand for
40:45
you.
40:45
>> It can't be tomorrow because that would
40:47
be a Wednesday and that makes no sense
40:48
in the Blizzard release timeline. That's
40:50
crazy. Joe, come on.
40:51
>> Oh, they're it's going to come back
40:53
tonight during this podcast.
40:55
>> Yeah, exactly. We'll finish recording
40:58
this and then it will come back. We've
41:00
also seen recent BlizzCons have been
41:02
Blizzcon line and those have been free
41:05
to stream. So that's just the question.
41:07
Is Blizzard going with the philosophy
41:08
that okay, this is just another Blizzcon
41:11
line and we're streaming it so as many
41:13
people as possible can see it or are we
41:15
still holding out for what are you going
41:18
to charge us for this Microsoft? I don't
41:21
know. I don't know.
41:22
>> Yeah. Okay. Uh, I think though we should
41:26
move on to talk a little bit about the
41:27
new Hearthstone Battlegrounds season 14
41:30
because
41:32
>> I you know get written down here. So
41:35
>> what can you tell us? give us a give us
41:37
an outline of what's going on
41:39
battlegrounds this
41:40
>> I I do love Hearthstone Battlegrounds
41:41
and one of the things I'm really happy
41:44
about here is they aren't they're making
41:46
big changes but they aren't removing a
41:49
lot because one of the big things about
41:51
this current battleground season is you
41:53
have trinkets and there are two points
41:56
in the game where you pick up trinkets
41:59
and those are items that
42:02
can really change up your gameplay or
42:04
power up what you're already doing. And
42:07
that's interesting because other if you
42:09
don't have some kind of gameplay
42:10
modifiers, Hearthstone can get a little
42:14
Hearstone Battlegrounds can get a little
42:15
stale and you know, every game can feel
42:17
the same. But being able to go in and
42:19
buy these trinkets give you a little
42:21
twist and there are going to be some new
42:22
ones this season. So that's going to
42:26
that always shakes things up and makes
42:28
things feel different from game to game
42:30
because you don't always get the same
42:31
trinkets on offer and it's just
42:35
everything's a little different every
42:36
time you play. But there's also a new
42:39
gameplay system called dark gifts which
42:42
starting on turn three, you can use the
42:44
dark gift button to spend three gold and
42:47
discover a minion with a dark gift. Each
42:50
of the minions offered will be paired
42:51
with a unique dark gift and those are
42:54
going to be just unique buffs and we'll
42:58
kind of see how that works. It's sort of
43:00
the same thing as the trinkets are that
43:04
it's going to change up your gameplay.
43:05
It's going to change how you approach
43:07
the game. It may change the kind of
43:09
minions you wind up purchasing. And this
43:12
is also interesting when you get
43:13
trinkets. You just get them. You just
43:16
get them on a specific turn. you pay for
43:17
them, but they everyone gets them on the
43:19
same and this means do you do you buy it
43:22
on turn three as soon as it's available?
43:24
Do you dump your gold into that instead
43:26
of buying a new minion or spells or
43:27
whatever? Or do you hold off and wait
43:30
and build up your board a little? So
43:33
that adds another interesting twist. And
43:36
one of my my really my favorite thing
43:38
about Hearthstone Battlegrounds is that
43:40
it is one of the few game modes out
43:43
there that is completely totally free.
43:45
You can just download Hearthstone and
43:47
play Battlegrounds. If you don't pay,
43:49
you have a few less options than people
43:52
who do. When you fire up a game, you
43:54
have the option between two heroes
43:57
randomly. If you pay every season, you
44:00
get the option of getting four, but you
44:02
don't need four. You can just go with a
44:04
two, pick the one you like best, and
44:06
play. And I I just love it. I love that
44:08
you can just go in and play this game
44:10
and not pay anything if you don't want
44:13
to. You can also buy cosmetics. There's
44:15
battle pass if you want it. There's a
44:17
new battle pass every season, but you
44:19
don't have to. So, this makes it just
44:20
such an easy game mode to pick up and
44:24
play. And this is like this this is my
44:27
favorite casual game to just pick up
44:30
when I want to do something, but I don't
44:31
have the brain power to do something
44:34
significant, which is often.
44:37
>> Okay. Um, thank you.
44:39
I think at this point, however, we we
44:41
get to turn now to his dark majesty, the
44:44
the prince of storms, Corey. Uh, tell us
44:50
the new patch rolled that rolled out on
44:52
July 20th that you were not here for, so
44:55
we're asking you about it now. Talk to
44:56
us, Corey. Tell us this.
44:59
>> Someone tell me what's what is this a
45:01
patch for?
45:02
>> Oh, that that really does sound like
45:04
you're setting me up as like a Ouija
45:05
board here. But Heroes of the Storm is
45:07
obviously not dead because it just had a
45:09
patch. So I don't know what you're
45:11
talking about.
45:12
>> I didn't I wasn't setting up as as a
45:15
fair Ouija board. I'm setting you up as
45:17
like the thing possessed by a dark, you
45:20
know, soul jar that has erupted into
45:23
you, filled you with Heroes of Storm. So
45:27
go ahead, Heroes of the Storm. Tell us
45:28
about the
45:28
>> Heroes of Storm. Well, first off, uh,
45:31
for the next month and change until, I
45:34
believe it's the end of September,
45:36
anyone can visit the Blizzcon shop and
45:39
get the first of the new skins released
45:42
uh, since they traded the game over to
45:44
the Heroes uh, to the classic team, the
45:47
Thraw cell-shaded kind of Mad Maxy skin
45:51
for free. You you say you want the skin,
45:54
you get it. Uh, it's part of their
45:56
BlizzCon celebration. So, it's not just
45:58
the mainline games, Hearthstone Diablo
46:01
and World of Warcraft that are getting
46:02
things. Heroes of the Storm gets a free
46:04
skin for anyone who wants it. And also,
46:07
Starcraft 2 gets a 14-day experience
46:10
booster for people who want that. So,
46:11
Starcraft and Heroes of the Storm are
46:13
both still kind of remembered by the
46:15
company. They're not like super
46:17
>> is the only game that they've kicked to
46:19
the side and eat with a shovel. I got
46:21
you anyway. Anyways, Heroes of the
46:24
Storm, yes, did have another live patch
46:25
that went live last week, uh, the 20th.
46:29
It's It's great, you know. Um, it's
46:32
probably [clears throat] my favorite
46:33
patch in a while. Uh, first up, they did
46:35
include another new skin, which is kind
46:37
of a Jetet Radio cell-shaded
46:40
look for Lucio. He's got a really cool
46:43
red suit, and it's very Jetset Radio.
46:46
So, if that game means anything to you,
46:49
you can get a version of it in game. And
46:51
it even has a little bit of custom
46:52
animation to it. So it it's one of the
46:55
more um involved skins they've put out
46:58
recently.
46:58
>> Yeah. It kind of looks a little bit like
47:00
um like a transformer in the face area.
47:03
>> Yeah. And if you look at his arm, he's
47:05
kind of got a cannon on his arm like
47:06
Mega Man. So there's a few different um
47:10
inspirations behind this look is the
47:12
word I'm going to look for is the word
47:13
I'm going to use here. But it's great.
47:15
Uh it's a it's a cool looking skin. And
47:17
if you like playing Lucio, and who
47:19
doesn't? He's fun and fast. Uh you're
47:21
you're in luck. He's got this cool
47:23
cell-shaded skin and it probably fits in
47:25
really nicely with all the other cell
47:27
shaded skins uh that they've released
47:29
like the tune Gildan and the
47:30
aforementioned thr that looks kind of
47:32
like a Mad Maxi guy. So, we also got a
47:36
home screen to go along with this. And
47:37
it was an event that looks like had
47:40
Heroes of Storm been in full production
47:41
this entire time, we would have got this
47:43
fun multiversal like cell-shaded video
47:47
game collaboration, but that they've
47:49
been releasing skins for, but it must
47:51
have been nearly complete whenever they
47:53
put the game into maintenance mode. And
47:55
I I'm sad for what could have been. But
47:58
the reason this this patch is my
48:00
favorite patch that has come out is that
48:02
in amongst all of their heroes updates,
48:05
Abther got some nice little reworks. His
48:08
um his trait where he lets out a little
48:10
Zerg Locust every once in a while that
48:12
goes down the lane got some love. It
48:14
changed how it works. Uh they shuffled
48:16
some talents around uh and made it a
48:18
little bit stronger overall for an
48:20
Abtherur to go out there and be annoying
48:23
and in your face. And if he takes risks,
48:25
he has a better reward payoff, which for
48:28
the ultimate weak, he's just a worm kind
48:31
of character is such a cool risk versus
48:34
reward setup and really solidifies why
48:37
he was such a great addition to the
48:38
heroes to the MOA franchise as a
48:41
character concept that the the more risk
48:43
you take, the better you can perform and
48:45
the better you can uh contribute to your
48:47
team. But he has a new level four talent
48:50
that is so funny that the as soon as I
48:52
saw it, I laughed and I laughed and I
48:54
tried to get Liz to talk about it for
48:56
weeks and weeks now because the patch
48:57
has been on the PTR, but she she was
48:59
insistent that only I could come on and
49:01
talk about it with any kind of verve and
49:03
gusto that this is my thing. I I know
49:06
and I appreciate that. But at level
49:08
four, Abther can now choose the talent
49:10
slapther. And that's right, you heard me
49:12
right. Slappther. Um, so if an abur goes
49:17
out there into the world and uses his
49:20
basic attack, which was until now just
49:22
this dinky little he's going to hit you
49:24
with his weak little arm and do
49:26
negligible damage. Now it does 350%
49:30
bonus damage and will stun enemies and
49:33
disable structures for one and a half
49:34
seconds. Uh, and it has a 6second cool
49:37
down for a target against structures and
49:39
heroes. So you can't just slap someone
49:40
to death. But it's so funny. It's it's
49:43
what made this game sing and what st
49:46
what made it stand out is that they
49:48
would take this meme concept of like the
49:50
videos of people putting in their best
49:52
Heroes of the Storm clips of two
49:53
avithers fighting it out somewhere and
49:55
they're just slapping each other with
49:56
their weak little noodle arms.
49:58
>> You're saying the Dan Habiki of Heroes
50:00
of the Storm.
50:02
>> Yeah, he's a he's a viable slapathon
50:04
now. You could go out there and you
50:06
could contribute to a team fight by
50:07
going out and slapping a hero at the
50:09
exact right moment and he does a little
50:10
bit of damage. Or you could go out there
50:12
and you could slap a for or keep and you
50:14
could shut it down for a second and a
50:15
half and that maybe is what separates
50:17
the difference between you taking that
50:19
thing and not hilarious. And I and I
50:21
love that they did that. The patch also
50:23
buffed uh Alexrazza and it buffed her
50:26
dragon form and it gave her a new kind
50:29
of reworked the talents around her
50:31
dragon form which was her trait. And uh
50:34
so you can if you do it properly, you
50:36
can spend more time in dragon form and
50:38
you can heal more and you can be a big
50:39
dragon which everyone loves which is why
50:40
Deathwing is so popular. And it buffed
50:43
uh Ragnaros and it made his uh trait
50:47
where he can take over a downed keep or
50:50
fort and it made that stronger. And I'm
50:53
not going to read through everything.
50:55
There's a lot of fun patch notes and
50:56
it's a lot of like numbers and there's
50:58
new stuff. But it just shows again every
51:01
time I come on I feel like I'm talking
51:02
about Here's a Storm because obviously I
51:04
love it and I'm one of the few holding
51:06
up the torch for it still. There are
51:08
dozens of us that [laughter]
51:10
>> at this point I'm willing to say there's
51:11
probably a few hundred of you
51:13
>> at least a few hundred. There must be
51:15
there's still tournaments happening.
51:18
>> There's still
51:20
up I I grab them off the streets as fast
51:22
as I can but no there's still more. So
51:23
yeah, absolutely. As of this moment, I
51:26
can see one of the streamers I follow on
51:27
Twitch streaming to 67 people playing
51:30
Heroes of the Storm.
51:31
>> So, there are people that want to watch
51:33
Heroes of the Storm still. Uh, you know,
51:36
they're they're making sure that the
51:37
game they're presenting is the best most
51:40
balanced version they can think of. And
51:42
once again, they have they've released a
51:45
suite of changes that take more than a
51:48
little effort to implement. Yeah, I was
51:50
just gonna say in a serious note here,
51:52
not not my usual teasing of you, the
51:54
difference between this game's
51:56
maintenance mode and the maintenance
51:57
modes for Starcraft or uh Diablo II is
52:01
pretty stark.
52:02
>> Yeah,
52:03
>> Diablo II hasn't gotten anything other
52:06
than yet another season in quite some
52:08
time. Uh Starcraft just got something,
52:10
but they have
52:11
>> it got a patch. It got a It got a major
52:13
patch um that changed a lot of balance,
52:16
but it was just a balance patch. didn't
52:18
change. It didn't add anything.
52:19
>> This one is still getting stuff as it
52:21
was released that was in the pipeline.
52:23
It's still it still is putting out more
52:25
stuff than the other one. So, it is
52:26
interesting. But at this point, um I am
52:29
going to move us on because we got a
52:30
little bit more we got to do. Um first
52:32
up, Joe had volunteered. I don't know
52:34
how you feel about this, Liz, but Joe
52:35
has volunteered to do the site news. Do
52:37
you mind if I just tag it over to him?
52:39
>> No, do it. [laughter]
52:41
>> Joe. Well, friends, we do want to thank
52:43
all of our wonderful supporters and
52:45
remind you that Blizzardwatch is made
52:47
possible due to your generous
52:48

52:49
patreon.com/bizzardwatch.
52:52
Uh, as always, I do want to remind you
52:54
that our, uh, subscribers get lots of
52:56

53:18
everything in between and lore watch

53:22
various uh fun stuff not just Blizzard
53:24

53:28
we are on social media. We are Blizzard

53:47
check Yeah, I know. Check our socials
53:49
for your local time equivalent. Uh and
53:52
that's you can find us at
53:53
twitch.tv/bizzardwatch.
53:56
And we, you know, I think this might be
53:59
something fun that we can talk about in
54:01
a moment here. But not only can you go
54:04
to twitch.tv/bizzardwatch
54:06
to listen to our live podcast, but did
54:08
you know our wonderful editor-inchief,
54:10
Liz, has been streaming her adventures
54:12
through a a a section of games that I
54:15
think are going to be quite fun for
54:17
everybody and uh we're going to try to
54:19
keep getting her to do more. Um, and I
54:22
do want to also mention that if you ever
54:24
are interested in any of our uh the
54:26
Warcraft books uh or stuff we talk about
54:28
on Lorewatch, uh we do have a list on
54:30
our website at
54:31
blizzardwatch.com/warcraft-books.
54:35
Uh and as a reminder, if you have
54:37

54:39
podcasts, be sure to send those in. You
54:41
can email us at podcastbizardwatch.com.
54:44
Specify the show that it is for in the
54:47
subject line, as well as any special
54:48
pronunciation of your name. Uh, and if
54:50
you want to hit us on Discord, we have
54:51
two channels set aside. We have the Q
54:53
and Podcast question channel open for
54:54
everybody. Same rules apply. And if you
54:57
are a Patreon subscriber, uh, we have
54:59
the Patreon Q and podcast questions
55:01
channel set aside specifically for you.
55:03
And we always look there first for those
55:05
questions, comments, or show ideas as a
55:08
way of saying saying thank you for
55:09
helping us keep the light. There we go,
55:11
friends. I'm going to kick it back over
55:12
to I'm I'm not going to give it to Matt.
55:14
I'm going to give it to Liz because I
55:15
want Liz to talk about this because this
55:17
has been so much fun. Um, Liz, talk
55:20
about what you streamed just yesterday
55:22
because that was fantastic.
55:23
>> Uh, yeah. I've been doing a Thursday
55:26
night live stream. Uh, Thursdays at
55:28
8:00, but I'm also fitting in some
55:30
whenever I have time because otherwise
55:32
it would take forever, play a single
55:34
game by just streaming for an hour or
55:36
two on Thursdays. Um, but I'm going to
55:39
be there every Thursday night at 8:00
55:41
Eastern to uh I'm I'm trying to play
55:44
through some indie games, see how see
55:46
what everyone thinks. if if everyone is
55:48
interested. I'm so I'm kind of doing a
55:50
trial run to see, okay, can I actually
55:53
commit to doing this? And two, are
55:55
people actually interested in watching
55:57
this? So, I'm I'm going to try this out
55:59
for a while. I'm going to play at least
56:00
a couple of games start to finish on
56:03
stream and they're going to be going to
56:05
YouTube after that. So, even if you
56:07
can't catch us on stream, it'll be on
56:09
YouTube later. And right now, I'm
56:11
playing a game called Desktop Explorer.
56:14
It's Yeah. Yeah. You hear Joe over
56:17
there. It's a surreal puzzle game in
56:20
which you are your uncle has gifted you
56:23
his ill and secrets and a game called
56:27
Desktop Explorer which seems bizarrely
56:31
related to real life things that you
56:34
figure out as you puzzle through it. Uh,
56:38
and it's full of little the whole thing
56:41
is packaged in a kind of Windows 95
56:44
interface and many
56:46
>> Oh, I think it's more like Windows 3.1.
56:48
This is older than I'm I'm I'm
56:50
oscillating back and forth between 95
56:52
and 3.1. I mean, it does it does have
56:54
the start menu, which wasn't that the
56:57
big one of the big 95 things. It has the
56:59
start [clears throat] menu.
57:00
>> It was, but it's like all the Windows
57:01
like it is it is it is nostalgic if you
57:04
are a computer nerd.
57:05
>> It Yes. If you are a particular kind of
57:08
nerd, yes, this hits you in some weird
57:11
ways and it it has a lot of puzzles
57:14
about figuring out the password for the
57:16
next folder. A lot of them involve,
57:19
okay, I'm going to look at the source
57:21
code of this document. Oh, I'm going to
57:24
look at the information. I'm going to
57:26
look at the properties of this file to
57:29
see how big is it. you know, you're
57:32
picking up little pieces of data through
57:36
real life computer skills that people of
57:39
a certain age may have those skills
57:42
inherently. People not of a certain age
57:44
may have to figure some of them out, but
57:46
it it makes all these sort of unique,
57:48
interesting puzzles. And not everything
57:50
is like that. There are a lot of visual
57:54
puzzles there. It's just very unusual
57:56
because the puzzles are all pretty maybe
57:58
not pretty different, but there's a lot
58:00
of different types of puzzles. I will
58:02
give one warning. If you are color blind
58:05
or have differentiating colors, I have
58:07
heard
58:08
>> that this can be a difficult game
58:10
because there are some puzzles that are
58:12
really based around color
58:14
differentiation and uh seeing things
58:18
after putting like a color filter on
58:20
them. So that can that's definitely a
58:22
challenge point for the game, but I have
58:25
had so much fun. I've streamed it for
58:26
maybe four hours total now. It's
58:28
probably about a 10ish hour game. Uh
58:32
it's just been it's just been tons of
58:34
fun. I'm still trying to decide what
58:35
I'll stream after this, but I' I've
58:37
still got a good amount of this to go.
58:39
And I think Joe is going to join me on
58:41
Thursday when I'm when I'm next doing
58:43
this.
58:44
>> I am. I I crashed Liz's stream uh the
58:47
last time and it was the most mecoded
58:51
section of this game that could ever
58:52
possibly be done because like it
58:55
involved Egyptian mythology and
58:56
computers. And my partner and I joke
58:59
because there's this thing where like in
59:02
our age group in like if you're in your
59:04
40s or like early 40s, late 30s, you
59:08
probably will understand this. There
59:10
were two very distinct type of kids
59:11
growing up. ones that were really into
59:13
Greek mythology and ones that were
59:15
really into Egyptian mythology. And I
59:17
was an Egyptian mythology kid. Uh so
59:19
like as Liz was going through this, I
59:21
was trying so hard not to just backseat
59:23
game, but also like it's pattern
59:26
recognition and like it was
59:28
>> I was stmming so hard watching like it
59:32
>> being Norse mythology.
59:34
>> Yeah.
59:34
>> I I still I still don't understand one
59:36
of those puzzles.
59:37
>> Which one?
59:39
>> Well, I I don't I don't want to give any
59:42
You I'm not going to I'm not going to
59:43
give an answer, but you can give a
59:44
general like thing of that cuz I'm
59:45
curious which puzzle.
59:46
>> Uh it's it's the very first one you
59:48
caught me on with the sixes.
59:49
>> Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I I
59:52
we'll talk about that later.
59:53
>> I kind of see what you were talking
59:54
about, but I don't uh but yeah, I know
59:56
Anna is wanting to play this as well,
59:58
and so I don't [clears throat]
59:59
say what the answer was. Yes. Yes,
1:00:01
indeed. So, I but it's it's a really fun
1:00:05
game. If you are interested in games,
1:00:08
weird, creepy, puzzle games, are hearing
1:00:11
me squeak in terror occasionally, go and
1:00:14
watch the stream, catch us on Twitch on
1:00:17
Thursday nights, or uh watch it on
1:00:20
YouTube. And uh yeah. Yeah, it's been
1:00:23
fun so far.
1:00:24
>> That everybody likes to listen to you
1:00:26
make squeaky fear noises, Liz. I mean,
1:00:28
it's it's not it's not
1:00:30
>> it's there's the occasional squeaky
1:00:33
terrified noise and then there's a lot
1:00:35
of h
1:00:36
>> also I'm going to throw this out there
1:00:38
for our listeners because we were
1:00:39
talking about this a little bit too
1:00:41
>> uh with the idea of Liz not always doing
1:00:44
these alone also looking for two-player
1:00:46
games that are that are capable of
1:00:49
running well on a Mac as well as PC. So,
1:00:52
our listeners out there, if you know of
1:00:54
a game that that is might be fun or fit
1:00:57
our wheelhouse, I feel like you've you
1:00:59
understand our personalities at least a
1:01:00
little bit at this point. Um, toss them
1:01:03
our way. You can hit us up on the
1:01:04
podcast at blizzardwatch.com or throw it
1:01:06
in in Discord. Uh, send some suggestions
1:01:08
at us and we can see if there's like
1:01:09
some multiplayer games that Liz and I
1:01:11
can play together and uh I can, you
1:01:14
know, cause her to have a heart attack
1:01:16
or something. I'm sure
1:01:17
>> I will point out
1:01:18
>> that's not a great suggestion about a
1:01:19
game that we could all play together.
1:01:21
Well, here's here's one you guys.
1:01:24
>> Mist Mist is good for Max. It works
1:01:27
really well.
1:01:28
>> So,
1:01:30
>> Mist.
1:01:32
>> Yeah.
1:01:32
>> Yeah.
1:01:33
>> But have you heard of this little game
1:01:34
called Heroes of the Storm? It's from a
1:01:36
small indie company. I'm sure you've
1:01:38
>> maybe you've heard of it. Maybe not.
1:01:40
But, uh I think it'd be really fun to
1:01:42
play all that together like in the good
1:01:44
old days. [laughter]
1:01:45
>> All right. One of the but one of the
1:01:47
things one of the things I really do
1:01:49
want to highlight here is some of the
1:01:50
indie games out there because most of
1:01:52
the time we're talking about these huge
1:01:54
massive games made by massive AAA
1:01:56
companies and there's so much exciting
1:02:00
stuff going on out there in indie games.
1:02:02
Those are the most interesting, weird,
1:02:06
creative games are all in the indie
1:02:09
space and it's ar it's it's super easy
1:02:12
to miss them. It's super easy to miss
1:02:14
these games. So, that's kind of my line
1:02:16
of thought. I might play I might try
1:02:19
some bigger games and it depends on what
1:02:21
everyone likes watching and everyone
1:02:22
likes doing. I mean, I got to play games
1:02:24
I enjoy because otherwise it's going to
1:02:26
be
1:02:27
>> miserable. But the Duck Detective game
1:02:30
yet?
1:02:31
>> I have not I have not gotten the new
1:02:33
one. The new one um
1:02:34
>> coming out soon, right?
1:02:36
>> It's already out. It's already out, but
1:02:38
I haven't I haven't picked it up yet
1:02:39
because there the other problem with
1:02:41
indie games, there are too many of them
1:02:43
that are too great.
1:02:45
>> There are so many great indie games out
1:02:47
here that uh are worth playing and I
1:02:51
think it's it's worth highlighting.
1:02:53
>> Make at some point, guys, we should make
1:02:55
a a thing on Patreon where if they hit a
1:02:57
certain like goal, I will stream me
1:03:00
playing Planet Dinosaur, which is a
1:03:02
dinosaur parks them game. Oh, I didn't
1:03:04
even get to tell Matt about the uh the
1:03:06
the Soulsite game that I found
1:03:08
specifically for him.
1:03:10
>> Oh, the Dino Blade one.
1:03:11
>> Yeah.
1:03:12
>> Yeah, I've seen I've seen that. They've
1:03:13
seen At this point, however, guys, we we
1:03:16
are getting pretty low on time. So, I am
1:03:19
going to say that one of these two
1:03:20
questions. Uh we're probably going to
1:03:22
talk about this weekend, right? Because
1:03:24
we're doing uh a tavern watch this
1:03:26
weekend. Am I correct as I'm speaking?
1:03:29
>> Yes. We need to figure out a time.
1:03:31
>> Okay. Well, I think that's a good point.
1:03:33
That's That's not an onstream
1:03:34
discussion.
1:03:35
>> Yeah. [laughter] Regardless, uh that I
1:03:38
think we can move on. And uh whilst I'm
1:03:41
really excited about God of War Lafi, I
1:03:42
don't I don't I want to go eat. Um quite
1:03:45
frankly, I'm very hungry. So, I'm going
1:03:47
to say thanks to everybody. Uh thank you
1:03:49
to Corey for being here with us this
1:03:51
week to make us again raise our hopes
1:03:54
that so Blizzard can expertly dash them.
1:03:57
Um
1:03:57
>> any day now. I swear it's going to come.
1:04:00
Thank you to Liz for getting him to do
1:04:02
it because otherwise he doesn't he
1:04:03
doesn't come around unless Liz forces
1:04:05
him.
1:04:05
>> Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. No, no,
1:04:07
no.
1:04:08
>> Cy out out of everyone, Corey is the
1:04:10
most likely to proactively volunteer.
1:04:13
So, everyone else I have to bully into
1:04:15
showing up. But
1:04:17
>> if if I'm if I have nothing else, like
1:04:19
if I if there's nothing real world going
1:04:21
on, I will be here with bells on. I I
1:04:23
love being here.
1:04:25
>> I don't bels.
1:04:27
[laughter]
1:04:28
finally an excuse to wear belts. And
1:04:30
finally, thank you to Joe, not just for
1:04:33
forcing Liz to talk about, you know, her
1:04:35
streaming and give people ideas for new
1:04:37
games, but also because quite frankly, I
1:04:41
I had forgotten that Egyptian mythology
1:04:43
took a big spike in the 80s and 90s.
1:04:45
>> Yeah.
1:04:46
>> Like they even had that they had that
1:04:48
that cartoon where they the Egyptian
1:04:51
gods showed up in San Francisco for some
1:04:53
reason. It was like a mummies show. Do
1:04:55
you remember that one? Mummies Alive, I
1:04:57
think. Mummies Alive. Oh my god. Yeah.
1:04:59
Yeah.
1:05:00
>> I remember Mummies Alive. It was kind of
1:05:02
like um
1:05:02
>> it was like Thunderhawks but
1:05:04
>> Yeah,
1:05:05
>> with mummies.
1:05:06
>> Or the Mighty Ducks cartoon but with
1:05:08
mummies.
1:05:09
>> I don't know if I agree on that one, but
1:05:11
[laughter]
1:05:11
if nothing else, Mighty Ducks with
1:05:13
Mummies is certainly something I could
1:05:14
imagine a video game doing. Yeah, thank
1:05:17
you to all of them. Thank you to
1:05:19
everyone out here listening and
1:05:20
supporting the site. And thank you to
1:05:23
Ancient Egypt. Take care, everyone.
1:05:25
We'll be back next week. [laughter]
1:05:26
Bye everybody.
1:05:27
>> Bye
1:05:28
>> bye.
1:05:35
>> [music]
