After a quiet year since the game's announcement (but also a few weeks of some very conspicuous data updates and beta rumors), there's some news for Warcraft 3: Reforged.

After being announced at BlizzCon 2018 we haven't heard a peep about Warcraft 3: Reforged, though the announced release date at the time was before the end of 2019.

We've reported before on Warcraft 3: Reforged and the lack of an actual release date, but with BlizzCon a couple of weeks away, we've moved one step closer -- we now have a beta option available.

Warcraft 3: Reforged doesn't have a release date (though the beta is starting soon), but one thing we know for certain is that its collector's edition will come with lots of extra goodies — and not just for Warcraft 3 itself.

Warcraft 3: Reforged hasn't released yet (it's still dated as "end of year"), but by pre-ordering the Spoils of War collector's edition now, you will receive a number of in-game goodies in other Blizzard titles when it does go live.

If, like me, you love the lore of Warcraft 3 but have a hard time getting the old game to run properly and wish you could see the story unfold without it, there are a few options -- for example, you could wait for Warcraft 3 Reforged, which will likely remake all of the in-game cinematics with its new art assets.
