Get your Gilnean goodies at WoW’s Trading Post in May

The World of Warcraft Trading Post is lining its shelves with an influx of Gilneas-themed apparel, weapons, and mounts for the month of May, though there are some other random oddities sprinkled into the inventory here and there that don’t typically match anything Gilnean but might be intriguing regardless. Once May starts, you can pop over to your preferred Trading Post in Stormwind City, Orgrimmar, Dornogal, or Silvermoon City to pick up your monthly Trader’s Tender rewards and any items that fit your fancy.

Here’s what you can look forward to once May begins!

May Trading Post mounts

Three mounts are available in the May’s Trading Post and the two marquee mounts are the Pyrewood Rebel’s Rouncey and the Gilneas Loyalist’s Rouncey, for 500 Trader’s Tender each. The last mount is the return of the Brown-Furred Spiky Bakar, aka the “we have Taivan at home,” for 325 Trader’s Tender.

May Trading Post transmog and items

If you want to roll around looking like a fox and don’t want to roll a vulpera, there are two different fox-themed Ensembles that you can pick up, because foxes are what everyone thinks of when we hear or see anything Gilnean. The last Ensemble outfit is basically a Tanooki suit and while it might make you look fly, sadly you’re still tethered to the ground without a flying mount.

Aside from the Ensembles, the May Trading Post transmogs leans into two different aesthetics — the armor is mostly Victorian-esque apparel commonly associated with Gilneas while the weapon transmogs are ninjas, for some reason. I’d be doing everyone on the Blizzard Watch site a disservice if I didn’t focus on the headwear options this month because it’s usually the weapons that the cake each month, but in May, the armor transmog section finally notches one in the W column.

May Trading Post pets

Two pets you could only get through different WoW-related promotions will be available at the Trading Post in May for 250 Trader’s Tender each, Parrlok the ogre and Lil’ Flameo the mini pit demon chungus.

May Trading Post bonus reward

Ensemble: Pyrewood Rebel Streetwear is the bonus reward for completing enough May Traveler’s Log objectives. Personally, I normally would skip an Ensemble that’s perfect for an aspiring circus ringleader but the jacket itself could be the starting point for a sick Dishonored-inspired transmog.
