Complete the Death Knight starting experience in Wrath Classic before November 28 to earn Frostbrood Proto-Wyrm in WoW
A surprise new mount showed up in World of Warcraft: the Frostbrood Proto-Wyrm.
Titan Rune Dungeons will add a “Heroic Plus” difficulty to Wrath Classic dungeons — now live on the PTR
Wrath Classic is adding a new difficulty to dungeons in Phase 2 with Titan Rune Dungeons, which allow players to gear up with 10-man raid level loot from Phase 1 — helping to keep Wrath dungeons relevant throughout the game. Blizzard has talked about increasing dungeon difficulty and improving loot before, originally calling it "Heroic Plus," but now the feature is live on the PTR for testing.
Over a month has passed since Phase 1 of Wrath of the Lich King Classic went live, giving players the opportunity to complete Naxxramas, The Obsidian Sanctum, The Eye of Eternity, and Vault of Archavon as they journey through Northrend.
While we don't have confirmation that there will be a Cataclysm Classic after Wrath Classic, I believe it's inevitable, simply because WoW Classic is tremendously popular.
While you can enjoy the Wrath Classic experience without any addons, addons can boost your quality of life, organize your bags, help you make gold, water your plagued crops, and raise your dead into a cursed unlife.
WoW Classic Season of Mastery players can transfer characters to other Classic realms (or the character will be deleted)
The WoW Classic team announced that players of Season of Mastery characters now have the choice to transfer to Wrath Classic or Classic Era servers -- because Season of Mastery servers are going to be closed, and the characters remaining there straight up deleted, at a later date yet to be announced.
Like WoW Classic and Burning Crusade Classic before it, Wrath of the Lich King Classic starts at a late patch (3.3.5) in terms of balance and class changes, but game content will roll out over the course of five phases, as well as a prepatch interval I’m terming “phase zero.” It mimics the original game release to an extent, but there will be some items whose availability will be unlocked as well over the course of the phases.
When Wrath of the Lich King originally launched, the phasing mechanic of The Battle for Undercity quest created quite a few bugs.
With Wrath Classic finally here and players doing their best to get to level 70, knowing where to find Northrend's dungeons is a priority for leveling — and for gearing up after you've hit max level.
Wrath of the Lich King Classic is coming today, so as I did with Burning Crusade, I’m going to look at some of my favorite and least-favorite encounters of the expansion, and we can all go down memory lane together.
