Hallow’s End brings spooky decor to use in your player housing

T he World of Warcraft patch 12.1.5 PTR has a number of new Hallow’s End decor items tucked away in the Decor Catalog.

The recent Brewfest event brought us the first glimpse of what in-game holiday decor collecting might look like going forward. Similar to the Brewfest items, many of these shiny new pieces of decor use an event-specific currency that is removed after the event ends. So if you want to collect these items you will need to ensure you gather up enough currency to purchase them during the event.

Get ready for Hallow’s End

The Neighborhood Holiday Vendors will have a bunch of decor items to let you decorate your house ready for trick-or-treating. The following items will be available shortly before the Hallow’s End event begins and are sold for gold.

/way #2352 54.39, 32.78 — Holly Twinklebright, Founders Point
/way #2351 52.38, 54.29 — Jolli Maxiboom, Razorwind Shores

Tricky Decor to collect

These decor items will all cost Tricky Treats to purchase, they are lists as being available from event specific neighborhood vendors as well as vendors in the Hallow’s End quest hub. None of these vendors are currently in game in either retail or PTR, their names and locations are from the housing catalog.

/way #2352 54.4, 32.8 — Cordula Wolfgang, Founder’s Point (approximate location)
/way #2351 52.4, 54.4 — Spew Gutsout, Razorwind Shores (approximate location)

Vendors will likely be in the holiday hubs in Tirisfal Glades and Elwynn Forest, in addition to Neighborhood Holiday Vendors.

Crafting recipes

There are two items that can be crafted by players. In addition to requiring Tricky Treats to purchase the recipes, you will need to use the same Tricky Treats to craft them.

The decor catalog has the listed as sold by the Hallow’s End vendors in Stormwind or Undercity for 200 Tricky Treats.

The finishing touches

Don’t forget the cobwebs! If you haven’t stumbled on these creepy neighborhood vendors yet, they lurk in out of the way places and sell a number of different cobwebs to give an abandoned vibe to your home. Their currency of choice is gold.

/way #2352 58.2, 61.6 — Klasa <Preowned Parts>, Founders Point, in the cellar
/way #2351 68.2, 75.6 — Lonomia <Cursed Goods>, Razorwind Shores, under the boardwalk

Do you have any plans to set up your house for the spooky season? Which of the new decor items has you the most excited?
