New craftable Decor coming to Player Housing in World of Warcraft patch 12.1.5
Player Housing has touched so many other game systems within World of Warcraft, particularly crafting because every crafting profession can contribute some new decor to your in-game home. Combined with lumber collection, crafting Decor for our new homes requires time of time and effort. Crafters can choose to either collect all the materials themselves to sell the completed item on the auction house, or look for crafting orders for Decor — for many recipes the material requirements have been disproportionately high, and in particular the lumber requirements don’t scale well with the complexity of the item being crafted. If crafting the decor through the crafting order system, the buyer must provide any lumber themselves, which can make it easier… if you can find the crafting orders in the first place.
But Decor crafting is getting a bit easier in WoW patch 12.1.5, because most crafted items require significantly less lumber, and select recipes have a reduction in other components as well. For example, the Black Lotus requirement for the Apothecary’s Worktable is being reduced from an eye-watering eight down to one — much more obtainable. So you may want to hold off on buying or crafting Decor until after the patch (with apologies to crafters who have any items on the Auction House that are struggling to sell).
And in addition to tweaking the costs of existing decor crafting recipes, Blizzard has added many new recipes in the patch, scattered over several previous expansions. In some cases you’ll need to earn reputation and expansion specific currencies to be able to purchase these recipes. Here are all of the new Decor crafting recipes coming with patch 12.1.5, and where to find them
