Ask your Disney questions for the Tavern

It’s a brand new week which means it’s time to collect questions for another edition of the Tavern Queue — and this week we’re talking all things Disney.

As a kid, I was your average level of Disney obsessed… at least until then I hit that age where Disney was suddenly a “kid thing” eschewed by all of my cooler, trendier peers. I wandered away from Disney and what a shame that was, because while the studio has had ups and downs, it still makes great movies. (Really, have you seen Zootopia? I’m not kidding here, it’s great!)

But what really brought me back to Disney as an adult was the parks. I went into Disneyland on something of a whim when I was in the area (possibly even an early BlizzCon). Sure, I’d been when I was a kid, but going to Disney as an adult is completely different. I know it’s cliche, but there’s something magical about the place that makes me feel about six years old — and that’s great. Disneyland Resort is this oddball mix of the old and new, with rides that have hardly changed since the park opened in 1955 and marvels of new technology (like the World of Color show above). Plus, as an adult, there’s booze. Really, there’s no going wrong here.

So if you have Disney questions, I have Disney answers. Let’s talk parks, movies, and anything else you can come up with.* The Tavern Queue will run this Thursday, so feel free to leave questions here until them.

*But someone please ask me about Shanghai Disneyland so I can gush about their Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
