There is nothing else to say, nothing else that can be said: hold the door. The three words that will be burned into my theatrical eyes and ears for the rest of time.

She was yelling it, over and over. A clarion call to keep the world from ending; a simple command that echoed through time. Lives had ended, bonds forever broken. Yet through the decades he heard and obeyed, readying himself for that moment when all would be lost were it not for him. Hold the door, hold the door. Hold. The. Door.
