Shadow Towers is this week’s Hearthstone Tavern Brawl
In this week’s Hearthstone Tavern Brawl, Shadow Towers, all of your minions have Stealth the first turn they’re played. Unlike the usual Stealth mechanic some cards already have, this Brawl’s first-turn-Stealth does not break on damage. For example, if you gave Ragnaros Stealth in normal gameplay, he would break it immediately on his own when he casts his end-of-turn 8 damage fireball. In Shadow Towers, his fireball does not break Stealth. The Brawl’s Stealth aura will end at the start of your next turn.
This brawl might be a good place to try taking advantage of Alarm-o-Bot. Churning out high-powered minions with little to no risk at all? Sounds good to me! And this stealth effect also makes Doomsayer an even more reliable board clear. Keep in mind, however, any Taunt minions you play cannot be targeted while in stealth — which means they can be completely bypassed the first turn you play them. If a game is coming down to the wire and you’re relying on a freshly-played Taunt to save your bacon, you’re in trouble. The Taunt won’t work until the Stealth is broken.
