East vs West Heroes All-Stars show matches at Dreamhack Summer

This morning, the Heroes of the Storm esports team announced a special treat for fans. After the Mid-Season Brawl, the Heroes esports pros from the West will face off against the East in an epic show match, played out on one of the biggest stages in esports, Dreamhack Summer.

Before they do battle though, the fans get their say. Starting now, fans in each hemisphere get to vote for their favorite players from the teams in their region appearing at the Mid-Season Brawl in two weeks. For instance, fans with a battle.net account in North America will get to vote from among players from Europe, NA, Australia/New Zealand, and Latin America. The five players who get the most votes will band together to form a Voltron-esque superteam.  The East team will go on to face off against the best of the West on June 17-19 in Jönköping, Sweden.

The official post says while the first match will follow HGC rules, they’ll be ‘changing the rules’ in the second and third matches, but play coy on the details. We don’t have caster information yet either, so stay tuned.

You can vote for the players in your region starting now by going to the official East versus West announcement. Polls are open until June 5th.
