Laser Gadgets’ Tracer Pulse Pistol shoots actual lasers
Okay, first up, I am not an expert in lasers. I do not know how hard it would be to do this, but please, don’t do this. The folks at Laser Gadgets seem to specialize in custom made working laser devices. Frankly I question allowing a laser powerful enough to set things on fire be used like this, but if there’s one thing I can’t do, it’s pretend that I don’t find this working replica of Tracer’s Pulse Pistol exceedingly awesome.
Terrifying, but awesome.
I think calling this weapon ‘fully functional’ is a stretch — it’s clearly not suitable as an actual weapon. But it could likely injure or blind someone pretty easily, so I do again request that you don’t immediately head out into your garage and try and hook up a powerful laser to a nerf gun or something. When we say do not try this at home, I want you to imagine giant neon letters and a voice like seven thunders saying it at the same time.
I admit, for all I know the scenes of stuff being set on fire are faked, but it looks real enough to me so just in case — don’t do it. Still, look at that thing. That’s extremely awesome. Minus a few paint details, the guns look absolutely model-accurate. I kind of want one, but I know far better than to ever let myself have one. I get lasered in the eyes frequently enough that I know it’s no joke.
