Patreon’s August 2018 mistake, please check your pledges

Good evening everyone.

A quick note that Patreon announced earlier today that their payment processing has had some issues for this month. While Blizzard Watch has been impacted (around 100 folks the last time I looked), it’s not a world ending crisis for us. However I did feel it appropriate to highlight the issue here since I’ve been asked quite a few questions today about it. This problem is much more impactful for creators with a smaller base of subscribers than we have; and honestly I’m a little worried about what this may do to them.

So if you have a minute, we’d love it if you could check your Patreon pledges. Even if they’re not to us (We totally understand! No bad feels at all!), it’d be cool of you to take a peek and make sure everything went through. Patreon has instructions on how to do so.
