The Queue: It’s when?!?!?!

Seriously, how is it already the 20th of December?! I still have to bake, and decorate, and shop, and try and find a time to watch Spider-Man, and and and and…

While I freak out for a moment about all of the things I still have to do, it’s time for — The Queue.

EARLY ON ONE CHRISTMAS DAY A JAXDADDY KANGAROO WAS FAR FROM HOME AND LOST IN A GREAT BIG ZOO

QftQ: What are your real ambitions for WoW? Ultimately, I want to be The Tourist. I want the whole world and lore as a walking simulator, basically. That’s why I started playing Classic. I started playing retail with my son and then a girlfiend(s) for reasons. But, I’m still here. You?

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentations of their women…

Oh wait that was a bit intense, let’s rein that in real quick.

I guess my goals and ambitions are just to play to the best of my ability and have fun while doing it. I’ve raided basically my entire Warcraft career and always strove to clear as much of the content as possible without taking it super seriously. My two raid night a week guild can usually clear about half or a little over half the raids on Mythic, and that’s about good enough for me. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on that much by not pushing further. Especially since clearing that much of the raid usually means that I’m able to complete a full set of the Mythic Transmog and that’s what the goal really is.

Other than raiding, I just like being able to keep in contact with the many many friends I’ve made around the world through the game. Warcraft really is great for forging friendships!

UP BESIDE THE BAG OF TOYS LITTLE JALEMENOS HOPPED, BUT THEY HADN’T GONE FAR WHEN SANTA STOPPED

Q4tQ: Are Croman and Meatball dead, or are they Maw Walkers?

I’ve been assuming that they’re dead.

The last time we saw Meatball was the Brawlers Guild in Battle for Azeroth and we left him rather… exploded. So not really something that Gnolls are known to come back from.

As for Croman, he was alive — but a Barbarian’s life is a dangerous one and who knows if he ran into a villainous James Earl Jones since then or not!

SIX WHITE BOOMERS, SNOW WHITE BOOMERS, RACING RETPALLYJIL THROUGH THE BLAZING SUN.

What do you think, folks? Do I make pizza, or chili?

Pizza is faster but doesn’t last as long. Chili lasts longer but is slower

I love pizza, but I’ll always vote chili because I love leftovers. Especially chili leftovers, since all the flavors really get to know each other. Plus there are so many things you can do with leftover chili! Chili fries! Chili eggs! Chili cordon bleu!

PRETTY SOON OLD MUSEDMOOSE BEGAN TO FEEL THE HEAT, TOOK HIS FUR LINED BOOTS OFF TO COOL HIS FEET

Q4tQ: what’s the biggest game install you’ve ever done?

Asking both because of Val’s comments below and because I finally get to play Final Fantasy VII Remake on my PC… after a hundred-gig download. >_<

I remember back in Mists of Pandaria hearing about how big Star Citizen was going to be and I was sure that would be the largest game I ever installed. It was supposed to be 100 GB! Of course, games are routinely that large now…

There is the weird double install of Assassins Creed Valhalla that I somehow did, so that was pretty massive. I also have all possible versions of Warcraft installed right now so that eats up a lot of my harddrive.

INTO ONE POPPED JAXDADDY, FEELING QUITE OKAY, WHILE THOSE OLD MAN KANGAROOS KEPT PULLING ON THE SLEIGH

QftQ: Related to Red’s question below, what pre-Cataclysm aspect would you like (if you hadn’t experienced before) back (but better)?

I want a Shimmering Flats raceway with an actual racing minigame. .

I’d bring back the Battle for Undercity in some form. That was such a cool quest, and it’s a shame that people don’t get to do it anymore. Obviously, we’re so many story beats past it — but toss Chromie out in front of it and have her talk about the importance of history and how you should still experience it.

THE LAST THEY SAW WAS RED HEADING NORTHWARDS FROM THE SUN

Q4TQ: A lot of people are speculating that the next xpac is going to be about dragons, with the Dragon Isles as a possible new continent to explore. But how would you feel if the next xpac wasn’t about dragons in general, but just about the Bronze Dragonflight in particular?

The Bronzes have two hanging plot threads: a minor one in “who’s trying to kill Chromie, and why?”, and a major one in “who/what exactly was responsible for turning Nozdormu into Murozond, and creating the Infinite Dragonflight, and what did they want to accomplish?” Whoever/whatever it is, they would be the major antagonist for this expansion.

But one of the main things that could be done with this theme is extending the idea of Chromie Time to max level content, and having Chromie not simply show us, but make us experience the major events that happened on Azeroth during our absence while we were stuck in the Shadowlands.

This would be a way to revamp the old world again, finally undoing the Cataclysm (it’s high time), but doing it only a handful of zones at a time. More stories could always be added for other zones on later patches, and this could continue even after this xpac is over. These new zone stories would be evergreen, to avoid the need of future revamps, and they would permanently work as a new option for leveling content, doubling down as max level content for whatever the current expansion was.

I’d love more to spend more time with the Bronze Dragonflight (and hopefully the rest of them to some degree)! They’re always so cool.

But also if we get a dragon-focused expansion, what happens to the Cat speculation after the Purrkin!

Today’s Anna Earworm™: Six White Boomers

Everyone was talking about their favorite obscure Christmas songs and nobody mentioned this absolute classic, so it had to be today’s Earworm™. Have a Merry Christmas everyone!!!
