Where to find all the Dragon Glyphs in Zaralek Cavern
In patch 10.1, we spelunk into Zaralek Cavern, where we’ll be able to find a whole new set of Dragon Glyphs to improve our Dragonriding mounts. When the original batch of Dragon Glyphs became available with the launch of the Dragon Isles, they were scattered around in plain sight, typically at the top of peaks or towers. Blizzard have sought to avoid making the Cavern feel claustrophobic by giving us a high arching ceiling, which also gave them the opportunity to hide away the newest batch of Dragon Glyphs behind stalactites and pillars. Finding them will require a bit of careful flying to skim the top of the Cavern to pick them up — and a little knowledge of their locations before you take to the skies can’t hurt.
There are seven new glyphs to find in Zaralek Cavern, but if you’re having trouble finding them all, we can help. Here’s how to get every Dragonrinding glyph in patch 10.1.
Dragon Glyph: Glimmerogg
Glimmerogg is the home of the Drogbar in Zaralek Caverns, and a hub for several events and world quests. The Dragon Glyph here is located above a ledge near one of the quest NPCs. Skim along the side of the tower until you hit it.

Dragon Glyph: Loamm
Loamm is the home of our new best buddies the Niffen and a major quest hub. Their village has a pocket cavern over it, and this glyph is located up the top of the canopy of this area.

Dragon Glyph: Slitherdrake Roost
This glyph is one of several tucked behind a curtain of stalactites. It is up on the ceiling near a wall. Keep an eye on the emote telling you that it is nearby, and look along the wall until you see it.

Dragon Glyph: Acidbite Ravine
This is one of the highest glyphs in the cavern, in one of the sections over a deep ravine. It is close to the ceiling between a course of several large stalactites — if you are running low on charges there are a few platforms nearby you can rest on to recharge while getting ready for another flyby.

Dragon Glyph: Nal ks’kol
This was one of the last ones I found. Tucked away behind a pillar against a wall, lower down than most of the other glyphs, this one is in an out of the way location — having coordinates will definitely make it easier to find.
/way #2133 62.56 73.31 Nal ks’kol
Dragon Glyph: Zaqali Caldera
Warning — while in this sub-zone, if you are mounted and in the air you will be targeted by ground-to-air attacks and knocked out of the air after the debuff counts up to 10 stacks. You may need to land and re-orient your dragon several times while looking for this glyph. There is a handy outcropping nearby where you can land and wait for the debuff to drop off. There are no patrolling mobs on the ledge, but plenty down at ground level, and as a special treat, they’re all elites.

Dragon Glyph: The Throughway
Another sheet of stalactites — this time made of green crystal — this was probably one of the easiest to find and pick up.
/way #2133 71.95 48.37 The Throughway
Dragon Glyph: Aberrus Approach
Possibly a bit of a misnomer, while this is called Aberrus Approach, it is above and behind the raid entrance at the top of the lava waterfall. In early iterations of PTR, this glyph was tucked behind an invisible wall. I would recommend considering landing on the top of the tower and recharging before trying for this glyph. It’s further up than it appears, and you’ll need almost the full set of charges to climb to it.

Addons to help you find all the glyphs
TomTom plus PasteNG can make finding quest and achievement objectives much easier. People frequently post coordinates or lists of coordinates to important locations, so using these addons together can allow you to load a group of coordinates in a batch.

Another helpful map addon is HandyNotes, which allows you to save map markers and select them for the TomTom waypoint arrow. A number of people also post event or achievement specific groups of map markers for the HandyNotes addon that can be loaded selectively. Most of them do what’s on the label, and HandyNotes Dragon Glyphs is no exception.
Happy hunting!
