The Queue: I can wait for you at the bottom

Just listening to music and writing the Queue, y’all. How’re you all doing?

TELWAR WANTS A VERY SPECIFIC THING AND WE SHOULD HELP THEM DO IT

Is there a black mail set with pants?

I have this horrific urge to make a female human hunter modeled after the Baroness from G.I. Joe.

Next question…there cannot possibly be any apes with helmets, right? She needs her Destro.

Oddly enough, there’s a mechanical pet that can be tamed that has a face similar to Destro and is an ape, well, a robot ape anyway.

There are actually quite a few sets of mail armor with a black/dark grey look and pants, like this one, or this one — just don’t wear the helmet — or this one. You could cobble together a pretty solid virtual Baroness cosplay for your Hunter.

BRAINSTRAIN

I am a few months late to the party, as is tradition, but – wow! The 10.1 blue dragon questline was incredible. Way more involved then I expected. And so much voice acting.

Just taking the opportunity to point to Brainstrain’s comment for anybody else sleeping on the 10.1 Blue Dragon questline.

A SHADOWY CONSPIRACY STARTED BY KALCHEUS WANTS TO KNOW

Q4tQ In a modern or futuristic/cyberpunk setting, do you prefer your institutional antagonists to be government or corporate?

Honestly I prefer to  blur the lines so much that it’s hard to tell which they are. One of my favorites from Shadowrun was Aztechnology, for example, because they were simultaneously a Megacorp with enormous financial power, the de factor government of much of Mexico/Central America, and helmed from the top by all sorts of weird magical entities. ‘

I mean, just rereading Neuromancer and it’s kind of trippy to see how Armitage blurs the line between secret AI conspiracy and secret US Black Ops rogue agent and that’s kind of my ideal. The players should never be sure exactly who they’re working for, working against, or just trying to get away from.

ZUEL, MR. BLINDSIDE

here’s another question for whatever – do dracthyr fall into the same category as furbolgs and that’s why we can’t skin them for scales?

I find  myself wondering if you complain at funerals that all the potential Human leather is going to waste.

I’m also reminded of Mordin Solus here. You don’t perform experiments on species with members capable of calculus, and you don’t skin them, either.

Okay, that’s the Queue for today. I’ll hopefully see y’all next week.
