How to reset your profession knowledge points in The War Within in patch 11.1

When patch 11.1 of The War Within goes live, players will finally gain the long asked-for ability to reset their profession knowledge points. There are a number of restrictions and things to think about carefully before doing so, but the process is extremely straightforward: here’s how to reset your knowledge points once the patch goes live.
A new NPC, Darla Fluxly, will be added in the new patch. She can be found just outside the Crafter’s Enclave in Dornogal, where you can pick up your weekly crafting order quests. Her dialogue options are simple, and she offers the choice of resetting a Khaz Algar specialization. You can choose either of your two professions, and after a confirmation prompt, all of your Knowledge Points from that profession will be refunded to be spent again at your discretion.
The most important thing to note is that this can only be done once per profession. You can reset both of your professions, but as of right now, you will never be able to again. The idea is that one reset will allow players to fix mistakes they may have made without disrupting the crafting markets. If you regret speccing into a certain specialization without researching which you’d enjoy most or which would most benefit your raiding group, this one-time reset is for you. If you’re looking to rearrange your knowledge points constantly in order to get an edge on crafting and corner the market on the Auction House, you’re still out of luck.
There are other things to consider as well. You will lose any of the skills and recipes that you had unlocked through the profession talent tree when you reset. This reset only applies to The War Within professions — we haven’t heard about any plans to enable the same ability for Dragonflight professions. And once again, because I can’t stress this enough, you’ll only be able to activate this reset once per profession.
So if you’re unhappy with your current build out, or if your guild is clamoring for more flasks, or you’re stuck at a skill level of 90, you will be able to ease the regret of your knowledge point choices in just a few weeks.
