April’s WoW Trading Post features new Darkmoon Faire-themed rewards

The World of Warcraft Trading Post has a new set of rewards for the month of April, headlined by Darkmoon Faire-themed mounts and transmog options. The other items available this month are a bit lackluster but that shouldn’t discourage you from at checking out the Trading Post locations in Dornogal, Stormwind City, or Orgrimmar to see them for yourself. At the very least, you can pick up your monthly reward of Trader’s Tender from the Trading Post cache and work on getting extra Tender’s from the Traveler’s Log objectives!

April Trading Post mounts

Three brand new mounts are available this month, two of them — the Violet Darkmoon Charger and the Lively Darkmoon Charger — fit in to the Darkmoon Faire aesthetic and both can be bought for 575 Trader’s Tender. Coming out of left field is the Emerald Snail for 325 Trader’s Tender, though it sort of matches the Darkmoon Faire because it’s green. Maybe? That’s what we’re going with.

April Trading Post transmog

Standing out of the April’s Ensembles are two new sets of gnome heritage armor, the Forest Dweller’s Rooted Attire and Blooming Attire, and the return of the Spring Reveler Ensembles. [Editor’s note: not all gnomes want to wear mushrooms, okay?]

Ensembles

Weapons and Toys

The weapons are by far the best options available this month next to the mounts, and come in two themed colors: the purple Jester theme and the green Clown theme. I won’t say these weapons were obviously Arsenal sets at one point but they were probably Arsenal sets at one point.

Armor

The armor transmog options this month are really just uninspiring War Skirt and Leg Wrap variations that don’t quite match the other Darkmoon-themed items. The selection seems a bit arbitrarily, but does give some extra options in alternate colors if you aren’t into the bold Darkmoon palette.

April Trading Post bonus reward

The bonus reward for completing the April Traveler’s Log is the Ensemble: Topsy Turvy Mask Set. Like other bonus rewards, calling these two masks an Ensemble is a joke fit for April Fools Day, but they do have a unique look that fits the Darkmoon theme (though it would be nice if the ensemble came with at least one other set piece matching their avian aesthetic).
