Today is an almost normal Tuesday morning maintenance for WoW — all servers now back online!

This week’s World of Warcraft maintenance isn’t too bad, but The War Within servers are getting a slightly extended two-hour downtime. It’s understandable, considering the middling performance of patch 11.1.5’s Nightfall event, which remains quite buggy even after an extra maintenance last week. Fortunately, Blizzard has some fixes planned for the event this week, with iimproved tuning and stability in the latest hotfix notes. We’ll have to see how the event feels when The War Within servers come back online later today.

Classic servers of all flavors have the usual one hour of maintenance, and came back online relatively quickly. The War Within servers are also now back online, coming up a few minutes before the end of the scheduled two-hour maintenance window. All WoW servers are currently online!

Here’s the maintenance schedule for Tuesday, April 29:

• The War Within: Offline from 7am – 9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)
• Cataclysm Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, Anniversary, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)

Today is pretty packed with events, with a new Hearthstone Battlegrounds season and Diablo 4 season starting, but the WoW servers will probably be back online (or close to it) by the time they come back online, so they won’t offer much entertainment while we wait out maintenance. (Though if you’re like me, you don’t need anything else to do because Blue Prince is spinning away in the back of my mind whether I’m playing or not. It does a lot to keep my brain occupied.)

All servers came back online as scheduled, with no extended maintenance — so I’ll see you in Azeroth (or maybe Sanctuary?) soon!
