How to customize Weechi the Wonder Pup, the customizable chihuahua reward for May’s Trading Post

If you’re the kind of World of Warcraft player who always charges into battle with an adorable pet by your side, then good news — you can now easily obtain a fully customizable canine. Weechi the Wonder Pup, a chihuahua who adores attention and captures it using a variety of silly hats, is the monthly reward for completing May’s Trading Post activities.

But how do you customize Weechi once you’ve finished the month’s Trading Post? Each branch of the Trading Post (Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Dornogal) will now feature a fluffy pink pillow designated as the Pet Grooming Station. Similar to a barber shop, you can tweak your Weechi’s style at will.

And Weechi has a lot of styles to choose from! There are four color schemes for the pup itself:

• Black with tan highlights
• Brown with cream highlights
• Cinnamon with cream highlights
• All-white fluffball

The costume options are:

• Red or grey stitched fox hat
• Green or purple sewn murloc head
• Blue or grey knit shark head (complete with dorsal fin)

It’s hard to pick a favorite because they all look hand-sewn and adorable. No transmog runs are necessary in order to stuff your pup’s wardrobe — you’ll be able to customize Weechi to your heart’s desire with any of these options immediately.

I feel that it’s fairly unlikely that the Pet Grooming Station would be added as a feature for a single pup, so I’d count on more customizable pets being added to the game as we make our way through the rest of Khaz Algar and further into the Worldsoul Saga.

It’s also easy to see additional outfits for Weechi being added to the game, especially if pet transmog proves to be a popular pastime. Imagine if the helm pieces for each class’s tier set looks came in tiny knit versions for our fuzzy companion.
