Dogs that just don’t want to move from their spots match our Monday mood

You know the Mondays where you look at the to-do list (or worse, have it swirling in your head like your forgotten lunch’s chowder) and want to immediately retreat under your blankets and decry the entire day? Yes, it’s one of those Mondays. But these animals get it too; let’s watch as they throw absolute fits at the idea of facing the day.

Eddie, the 7-year-old Yorkie mix, goes to work with his mom, Lisa, every day. However, Eddie intensely disapproves of these plans, as the video shows. Sorry, buddy, if Mom has to get up for work, you do too.

Zeus, the Siberian husky, wants some playtime in the bathtub with the water faucet. That’s all he wants. How dare you try to take him on a walk? He’d like to speak with your manager. OK fine, he’ll get out of the tub if he must.

Look, these poor pups are so tired. Just let them stay in bed. How can you be so cruel as to try to shake them loose?

Tucker the golden retriever has opinions. Specifically, opinions about leaving his comfy spot on the bed. Enjoy watching the many ways in which this sweet and sassy boy expresses how little he wants to leave the mattress.

Huskies really might be the best dog for voicing their displeasure. Watch Mishka voice complaints at being forced out of bed, only to try to hide under the blankets after getting busted by Grandma. Frankly, that’s how I approach getting out of bed too.

We’re wrapping up this week with Budi the Westie (aka West Highland white terrier). Budi just wants mom Dora to put down the camera and go away so he can enjoy more beauty sleep. Dora does try different angles, but this pup is having none of it. Budi, my fluffy friend, you’re already beautiful.
