This week’s Epic Games Store free games are Gigapocalypse, and Sifu, and the brand new release Deliver at All Costs

There is a brand new release in the Epic Games Store free games of the week, in addition to a legendarily good fighting game, and a game that hits all kinds of nostalgia buttons.

  • Deliver at All Costs
    • Release Date: May 22, 2025 (today!)
    • Game Type: Driving, story/narrative
    • POV: 3rd person, isometric
    • Party: Single player
    • DLC: You can purchase the soundtrack, and optionally upgrade to the Digital Deluxe edition.

Deliver at All Costs is releasing today, and it’s already available for free on Epic. While I haven’t had the pleasure during the press review embargo window, a 50s-vibes driving game with a destructible environment is definitely my jam, even if the reviews aren’t so hot. The driving action is interspersed with a whole lot of retro story content, so it isn’t all mayhem — which may be a positive or negative depending on your preferences.

  • Gigapocalypse
    • Release Date: November, 2021
    • Game Type: Beat Em Up, Arcade
    • POV: 3rd person, side scroller
    • Party: Single player
    • DLC: None.

This game is a huge nostalgia hit for both kids who played Beat Em Up games back in the day, but also specifically fans of the Rampage franchise. There isn’t much better than playing as a huge monster wreaking havoc, but perhaps caretaking a huge monster in a tamagotchi-style minigame so that it can more effectively wreak havoc is also a pretty good gameplay loop.

  • Sifu
    • Release Date: February 8, 2022
    • Game Type: Action Fighting, Martial Arts
    • POV: 3rd person
    • Party: Single player
    • DLC: There is a Digital Deluxe addon pack.

Sifu is a fighting game that helped to shape the genre as a whole. There is a story mode, where you seek your revenge against for your father’s death, but there’s also an Arena mode where the objective is to defeat your opponents. Both are phenomenal, and more importantly, both are free this week.
