The Queue: Health Potion

I’ve been on a bit of a health kick for a little while now, and one of the things that has made that a little bit more tolerable is making parallels to media. After all, with its exotic fruits and arcane powders and various liquids, what is a protein smoothie but a health potion? Throw in a multivitamin and I may as well be an alchemist. Still trying to find a way to make exercise more novel, though. Ah, well.

This is The Queue, our daily column where you ask us questions, and we’ll supply the answers just as soon as we have a little snack. That was not filling at all.

There are a lot of reasons to think this could happen. We’re starting to see more Ethereal stuff, and even though the Brokers aren’t strictly Ethereals, they’re very Ethereal-adjacent. They have different societal structures and origins, but their general mentality is strikingly similar. It can also be tough to separate the varied races from each other because they have similar vibes and use the same skeleton.

But all of that is somewhat biased, because I adore the character of Ve’nari and want her to make a return even if it doesn’t strictly follow canon.

well now that we’ve said it out loud, I’m pretty sure it’s not gonna happen. Or maybe because I said it won’t, now it will? Being a jinx, sometimes it’s hard to know which way the curse is gonna swing.

I’m literally younger than Mario. Of course I know the difference between a Nintendo and everything else.

The dirty little parenting secret is that we do this intentionally because it’s embarrassing and cringe. Embarrassing my children is one of the few simple pleasures left to me in this life.
