Deathloop and Ogu and the Secret Forest are the Epic Games Store free games of the week

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away two games for free again: the stellar and innovative Deathloop, and a cute little adventure game, Ogu and the Secret Forest.

Deathloop takes the Spy vs Spy idea to the next level, with two rival assassins stuck in a time loop, doomed to repeat the same day over and over again. If Colt can kill eight targets in the same day, he can escape, but Julianna is hot on his trail.

This game was a revelation when it released, and it continues to be an innovative blast to play through.

Ogu and the Secret Forest is a wholesome little exploration adventure game in the vein of something like Zelda. Use Ogu — who can collect and wear different hats! — to solve puzzles, make friends, explore the secrets of the forest, and defeat enemies.
